No matter who I go to, I've never had an issue with any of the staff and my nails always come out incredible. Everyone is very meticulous with their work, and my nails last such a long time without breaking, which is one of the main reasons I continue coming back. This time I wanted an ombré design and they used a spray painting tool to create it, which I thought was so fun! I had never had my nails done that way before and I loved watching the process. The design came out beautiful and exactly how I wanted it. I also bring my daughter here to get her nails done and she loves sitting in their little Hello Kitty princess chair. It makes the experience so much more fun for her and she gets so excited every time she gets to sit in it. Been coming a few times over the past few months for pedicures and gel x sets, noticed that each…read moretime I came, the quality seemed to decrease. Went in today for a gel x removal since I have a tendency to remove them myself, I decided i'd do it in a healthier way for my nails but the experience was not great. The technician used a double-bowl soak method with warm water but didn't offer to apply a protective barrier like Vaseline or oil to my hands first. (I am used to nail shops using the foil and cotton method so this was new to me) Because my bare skin was left completely unprotected in warm acetone, it caused some chemical dehydration. The skin on my fingertips is now dry and peeling. On top of that, the actual service was rushed and sloppy. My nails were filed completely slanted and unevenly and my nails were stripped of their natural oils. She did apply cuticle oil after she was finished, but then had me immediately wash it off with soap. By the time I came back to the table to get my things there was already another technician sitting down to take a client. When it came time to pay, the technician seemed surprised because I chose not to leave a tip. Tipping is for good service, not for a rushed job that leaves a customer with uneven nails and peeling, damaged skin. I'm grateful that I have a pretty strong nail bed naturally, but this could seriously damage someone with sensitive nails and skin. I will not be returning. --------------------- update in response to the owner: Thank you for admitting the filing was rushed and uneven. While it is standard practice, full submersion soaking is seen as an older method that can be harsh to nails and skin, it's not the best and was obviously used to save time. Especially since I've had a gel pedicure removed here before and a different nail tech used the foils and cotton. And while everyone knows tips are never required, the technicians change in tone and body language when no tip is selected is definitely a way to deter customers. Thank you for taking some accountability so this doesn't happen to guests in the future.

This already made me feel uncomfortable to tell her about my thumb, which was ridiculously crooked and very noticeable but I did ask that she would fix that one also and she got my thumb and filed it quickly and was like "is that better?" I just told her yeah, even though it was not better. I didn't want to make a big deal about it but inside I was super annoyed. Nails are expensive and when you go for a service you want it done correctly you don't want to come out with crooked nails. I also asked if she could do a small gel design and I showed her a picture of what I wanted and it was absolutely nothing like I showed her. The design she gave me look like she spilled glue on my nail and was like whatever about it looks nothing like the picture I showed her. I was upset. I just didn't say anything. I'm going to post a picture of the gel design of what I wanted versus what I got. The gel design that I requested was supposed to be what looks like a swirl and thick as I mentioned above, she looks like she just rubbed a glue and the line was super squiggly . As a professional nail tech....like why???? I feel like the potential for this nail tech is absolutely there I just know that I can't ask for a design the next time I try her again. (which I will be going back to her to give her another chance.) I will share a picture of my nails. It wasn't a horrible job, it was just OK. Moving forward if I go with the nail tech again, I will not be requesting for her to do any type of design just because what she gave me was not what I asked for. I'll do an update if I ever go back

My best friend was in town and wanted to get our nails done, so we came here last Friday morning. We booked a mani and a pedi. We checked in and didn't have to wait long for Mymy and Tina to start on our toes. Honestly, our whole pedicure experience well because our ladies were nice and just did their jobs. Here comes the bad part of our experience of when we were getting started on our manicures. We had originally booked two gel pedicure and one gel manicure and one gel builder. We asked if they can do gel builder for both manicure, which they said yes but one of us would have to wait 15 minutes which we said we were fine with. I had Tracy who started on my nails first and for the most part, she was quiet and just did her thing, which I preferred. Sadly, my best friend got Kandy who at first asked my best friend what she wanted for shape and length with the builder gel. My best friend told her she wanted to do a short almond shape. Kandy told her if she wants to do that then she would have to do a longer length, so my friend agreed and said a medium length is fine. I don't think Tracy or Kandy knew this, but we are Vietnamese and can understand everything that is being said!! Because Kandy later proceeded to complain in Vietnamese the ENTIRE manicure about how she doesn't know how she's going to my friend's nails because of what she picked, how she's going to be stuck doing it for a long time, how my friend "insisted" on doing this and how my friend's nails/fingers aren't straight and keep swerving. Tracy was fine for most of my manicure, but there was a couple times she would agree and say "yeah, this lady's fingers too". Halfway through, my best friend and I just stopped talking to each other because I was getting so annoyed of Kandy's complaining. I wished she would've just told us she couldn't do my friend's nail so we could've had another nail tech who would've been happy to do it. I didn't say anything because it was my first time seeing my best friend in months and she really wanted to get her nails done, so I bit my tongue but her complaints started giving me a headache. After Tracy was done with my manicure, she asked me if we were paying separately or together. I told her together, so she punched in the numbers and gave me a total of $295. I gave her $300 in cash and was going to ask for change, but I heard her saying in Vietnamese about how she had little to no change. By the time I looked up after I paid, she had left the table. **I turned over to my friend and told her I had a headache, so I was going to wait outside in the car. I gave her cash to tip everyone after she's done telling her I overheard Tracy saying she didn't really have any change, so my friend can ask her nail lady for change.** When my friend was done and came out 15 minutes later, she told me Tracy came up shocked and complained about how I walked out and didn't tip on a $295 service and how she couldn't believe it - repeating it over and over. I wished she would've waited until my friend was done with her nails, so she could've seen that we were going to tip... I loved the first gel manicure and pedicure I received when I visited here for the first time back…read morein May. My friend gets her nails custom done by Alena, and boy she does an INCREDIBLE job. They are always highly decorated and she uses cat eye almost every time. So imagine my surprise when I come in to get a basic manicure and pedicure, and my total is $25 MORE ( $30 if you include the additional 3% you pay to use a card) for a more basic service. The nail tec used builder gel (I had not asked for it), and charged me for removing a full set of nails (I had one tip on my thumb from a brake and one broken nail that had a bit of acrylic on it to give it strength, the rest simply had gel). And this is what I dislike about nail shops. They should state this upfront, not after the fact. And when I pay more more my basic pedicure, basic nail polish, and no designs than the last time I came in and got glitter and a design nail (or about the same my friend pays for her design nails), then something feels very wrong. Unfortunately, I'll have to keep looking for a reliable nail shop with transparent pricing. Edit, update: this manicure was chipping the day it was applied (as the nail tech was filing the builder gel, a giant clump ripped off the base). But 2 days after, nearly early nail has lifting, chipping, and the natural nail underneath has broken, too. A manicure that lasts merely 2 days isn't quality work at all.
