My hubs had watched the Everblades Divieto commercials for too long and he wanted to eat fettuccine out of the Kelly Cup like Cam Johnson. ;) The service was good and the food exceeded my expectations. My daughter and I have been going a lot over the past few years. Although, the hosts have always been very friendly and helpful, I have found the service to be generally been mediocre, not rude, but aloof. The food more than makes up for it. The Bruschetta is a must. My favorite, the Lemon Sea Bass, is outstanding. My daughter's all time favorite is the Fiocchi di Pera. They have no problem subbing different pastas or veggies (HUGE for me) They have always made food to order without hesitation. I cannot stress enough the food is always above par. Their wine selection is also nice. With that being said, this is not my first go-to when entertaining friends because of the less than enthusiastic service. I did my research before hand and I knew the exact meal I was getting which was the Frutti Di Mare Pasta, PROS: it is a seafood galore with shrimp, mussels , clams and calamari with a savory pomodoro sauce. It was very good with that hint of lemon and perfectly cooked seafood. I used the 15% of coupon that Yelp gives you if you check in . The coupon state "dine in only" I ordered takeout and The manager made an exception which was great because I saved $4. Food was done in about 15 minutes and it was a smooth visit. Absolutely love this restaurant, though we always sit at the bar! This is our go to when we want a nicer night out. Divieto's food is fantastic especially the lamb and veal. Their cocktails are always well made and they have a great selection. Bartenders are always attentive, even working in a tight space and being very busy. My one suggestion would be the bar seating is actually not particularly comfortable and there isn't much of it. A lot of patrons want to sit at the bar so it might be worth considering! read more

We ordered takeout from Divieto's last night and it was delicious! Definitely go with what's recommended because I generally assume that's what's best. My boyfriend ordered the mascarpone and it was AMAZING! So creamy and perfectly cooked shrimp. On the other hand, I went out on a limb and decided to order a less popular dish, the wild mushroom pasta. I won't lie - it wasn't great. I can also assume that it isn't one of their specialties and more of an oops on my end for not following the norms. I would for sure order here again based off of the recommendations! read more

Mom and I decided to do something different for lunch today and drove down to Coconut Point. No plan and this was the first time we've dined here. Sitting outside on the covered patio was beautiful. The hostess seated us even before answering the phone which was a pleasant surprise...showed attentiveness to the customer. All the staff were pleasant and the manager even stopped by to check on us. The best restaurant in Lee County! I am a total foodie and this place rocks. Not only is the food a 10/10 but the service is absolutely impeccable. Everyone where's a mask and wears it correctly! All the staff are very polite and go out of the way to make sure you have a great experience. Our server Josh was great! He was very helpful with the menu and didn't rush us to order so we could really enjoy each other's company. We made a reservation and I would recommend doing so. I will say the brownie dessert was a bummer, with sucks because the food was outstanding. I would like to see them have some better desserts, since it's a nicer restaurant. Food and ambiance were great! Our table of four enjoyed bruschetta, fettuccine Alfredo made in a giant cheese wheel, and tiramisu for dessert. The girl who made our pasta in the giant cheese wheel was very friendly and a total sweetheart! Where it fell short unfortunately was service. Our server, Farouk, was very unfriendly and ultimately put a damper on our evening. From ignoring my husband when he wanted to place his initial drink order, taking too long to take our orders, and then when boxing up my friend's leftovers, he accidentally dropped a shrimp tail into her purse and then proceeded to dig into her purse to fish it out without asking her if it would be okay first. When we finished our dinner and paid our check he immediately grabbed the checks back to check his tip. But the cherry on top is after we paid he proceeded to sit in the empty booth behind us and stare at my friend as if annoyed we were still seated and talking after paying. I have gone quite a number of times to Divieto and never disappointed however this past weekend. Must be a change in the kitchen but the food was very disappointing and tasteless. The table ordered a beef carpaccio and there was not condiment, usually some oil and lemon juice. The pasta with vongole was swimming in butter with non existent garlic like previous times it was made with olive oil and good amount of garlic. Needless to say, we will never go back and will no longer recommend the restaurant. The server did NOT disappoint. She was great! read more

WOW! From the atmosphere to the service to the food I don't know what was better. This was our first time dining here, made a reservation on Monday, and couldn't wait for it to be Thursday! Our server was Alyssa and she was an absolute delight. She was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the menu and just a happy person which made dining so much more enjoyable. CHARGED TWICE ON VALENTINES DAY! This is NOT the first time this has happened. Be very careful when dining here and make sure to check your credit card statement! The first time this happened I figured it was just a mistake, although I have dined in many restaurants repeatedly, and never had something like this happen ever! However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. On Valentine's Day, my husband and I went back and upon checking my credit card online I noticed yet again.YET AGAIN there was a double charge for the exact amount. What makes this worse is that I literally just got off the phone with someone who claimed to be the manager, but had absolutely no managerial skills. I told the girl on the phone what had happened and that I would like to speak with a manager, he literally picked up the phone did not say hello and just blurted out. Yes, everyone's card was charged double on Valentine's Day and we're trying to figure out what went wrong! He barely even let me get a word in when finally, I said you need to let me speak. I then proceeded to let him know that this wasn't the first time this has happened and it is very concerning. He then repeated the same exact thing saying everyone's card was charged twice on Valentine's Day and we're trying to figure it out! Are you kidding me?? he totally ignored that this is the second time this is happened. Needless to say, I have already contacted my credit card company and I will also continue to let people know to check their credit card statements. I can't even imagine how many people have no clue what is going on. Maybe getting a manager in that would try and speak to their customers in the correct manner would help me from thinking that this is some type of scam going on. very disappointing as there food is very good but we will NOT be dining here anymore. read more

It was fun to watch and delicious. Very rich too- I couldn't finish it all! Additionally, my mom enjoyed her chicken marsala.
