It was delicious, our waiter was great, thanks Brock! The service was great, their was many people helping make it a great experience, your efforts did not go unnoticed! We sat outside because inside was packed inside, the next available seating was at 6:45 so for future make sure you make a reservation if you want to eat indoors. We arrived at around 5:30. The weather was decent a bit rainy but cooled it off to making the outside a pleasurable dining experience. The mussels appetizer was fresh and great tasting sauce we practically drank it. Finally got the chance to visit this restaurant. Service was great and well staffed. We dined today at a busy time yet the food came out to our table quickly and we each got our food nice and hot. W got the ahi tuna as an appetizer and the flavors were great. I got the Mascarpone pasta with chicken and shrimp and the penne was coked just right. The filet mignon with mash and asparagus was also cooked nice and had a great flavor. We will be back to try the pasta mixed on the cheese wheel next time! read more

For Mother's Day, my wife said she wanted Italian. I went to Yelp asking for Italian restaurants near me and Divieto popped up. Divieto must have paid yelp off as I know of several Italian restaurants closer. So we went online and saw a special Mother's Day menu flash on the screen for all of two seconds with a second screen popping up with useless info. The wife called and ordered one of the special meals with shrimp for takeout and was quoted a price of $39. When we got there the car hop said it was $52! I paid with my card and tipped $5. We went home and shared the lobster bisque which was good. We opened the pasta which had only 5 medium shrimp. The desert was a small brownie with half a strawberry. So in short I spent $57 for 5 shrimp and a half a strawberry! read more

Had dinner there on March 2 as we were visiting friends that are there for winter months. It was very busy as was a Saturday night. We waited at least 10 minutes after being seated for our server greeted us. We ordered drinks and after about 15 minutes, our server came back to tell us that the bar was behind and our drinks would come soon- we ordered -the Parmesan pasta made tableside for an app for all 4 of us and 4 dinners. Our drinks finally came. Our pasta app was delicious and the server that made it was super friendly. We waited a bit more- and our dinners were delivered by another server- one dinner was the wrong order. That server seemed perplexed and took it back. From our table near the open kitchen, we could see what looked like a manager of some kind ( had bright red hair) dressing down our main server in plain sight. Very inappropriate! Our main server returned and apologized profusely for her mistake- by this time, the other 3 of us were half way through our dinners and were sharing our dinners with our 4th, who then told our server not to remake the correct order. When the server returned to the management on the floor to update, again the conversation did not seem appropriate to happen in plain site of customers. Next we were approached by another person just asking how our dinners were. We explained. Then the person with red hair next came over a few minutes later to "explain" or ? Our main server then came over and asked us if we wanted dessert on the house. We all said no thank you as by then we just wanted to leave. Our food was ok- but the whole experience was just awkward from start to finish. Sitting near the open kitchen, we could see how hard everyone was working. I personally will not go back when visiting. Having worked with the public for many years, this wasn't handled correctly. A customer should never witness a server treated like that by whatever management. The blame game isn't what should happen- making the customer want to come back should be the goal. When we paid the check, a free appetizer was what we received- not nearly good enough for how much we spent on drinks alone- which took forever to get. Management needs some retraining on customer service-those on the floor and whomever is managing them. A customer that comes back is priceless- management should not act like anything comped due to poor service comes out of their pockets. read more

This was our first visit to Divieto Ristorante and definitely not our last. Our visit was pretty much perfect from the point where we were seated and met our wonderful server, Christina. The crusty bread and garlic oil was very good. The Chianti Riserva, Caesar salads and the Frutta Di Mare and Grilled Salmon entrees were on point, flavorful and abundant. Called manager at Estero just to see if there was some sort of policy preventing delivery of bread? Great experience at this restaurant, first time dining there. Was looking for an Italian restaurant where they make the fettuccine Alfredo table side in a parmesan wheel and we found it. Great fettuccine Alfredo made in a cheese wheel. It was so rich and cheesey and full of flavor. They wheeled the cheese wheel out on a cart with pasta and sauce. Awesome flavor, we shared it it was so rich and yummy. Also ordered the burratta mozzarella which was impressive with arugula and pesto and balsamic and cherry tomatoes. A large portion served with pita bread toasted. Our meal also came with bread and oil and herb mixture. We got the pear and cheese pasta which was equally good as the fettuccine. It was sweet with cherry tomatoes and candied walnuts. Awesome dishes. I also saw another table getting a smoking drink and I had to have it, smelled like a fire. I got an old fashioned with smoked apples wood, incredible. Served in a caraf smoking and served over a large block of ice with orange and cherries. Great meal. Lovely new addition to Coconut Point. They have a cute 50's throw back vibe. The service is exceptional. They have a great menu featuring fresh Italian dishes. We started with the ceaser salad and the herb crusted salmon. The salmon was really delicious, the flavors were amazing and the salad was filled with fresh arugula, spinach, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, asparagus and tossed in their home made balsamic. Great combination. We also tried their Pera E Gorgonzola pizza, white pizza, fresh pear's, gorgonzola, balsamic onions, and candied walnuts. The flavor combinations were fantastic and we really enjoyed the crispy thin crust. We also tried their table side Ruota Di Parmigiano. Creamy fettuccine tossed inside a fresh Parmigiano reggiano wheel. This was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted. If you love aged cheese this is your dish.
