Best ceviche ever!!! we loved everything about this place. The food, the service and the ambience. We followed the reviews that this wonderful restaurant has in yelp and decided to give it a chance. The first impression is that on a Saturday around 4 PM. it was full. So we thought this might be good signal. Then we ordered two Pisco sours, one of passion fruit and the other one traditional with lemon, both were exquisite, but for my own personal taste, I liked better the lemon one. We ended up ordering 3 in total (2 lemons and one passion fruit) We were given some sweet potato chips with three different dipping sauces that they were really good. I loved the one with aji rocotto and aji amarillo as well. Then we ordered choritos a la chalaca (marinated mussels with leche de tigre) and they were amazing. For main course, my friend ordered ceviche mixto and I ordered a regular ceviche... both ceviches were extremely fresh, the citrusy taste was just perfect, the leche de tigre was delicious and the quantity was enough. Prices are very reasonable (around $60 each with the tip included). The service was really good, the decoration was very nice. Bathrooms were clean as well. We highly recommend it. You are going to love it and enjoy every bit of it and it's the perfect lunch with the heat of these days: Light, healthy, and fresh! read more

I've always been on the fence with ceviche, not really a fan, until the moment I tasted the ceviche at this place. It is amazing! It's crack for the taste buds. I just can't have enough. I have dreams with it. I'm not kidding! It is by far the best ceviche I have ever had. El Chalan on bird and 79th is a close contender but Divino Ceviche has the best! The reason they lost one star is because they don't serve bread to sop up that glorious sauce and because their delivery service is terrible. However, the service at the restaurant is good. And honestly, even if the service was bad, you wouldn't know it being high on that crack ceviche. read more

If you don't know, Ceviche is a Peruvian dish, created in Peru, enjoyed in Peru for centuries and recently imported and bastardized. In its most pure form, it consists of salt, lemon, and fresh fish, and it's eaten in this form by fishermen. Out of the hands of fishermen, spices, peppers and onions are added, making it the ceviche we are most familiar with. Divino Ceviche, the restaurant's name, translates to "divine ceviche". Additionally at this eatery, Divino Ceviche applies to the signature dish, a seafood ceviche made with shrimp, avocados and mangoes in it. I would lie if I said that I've tried the dish or that I was even inclined to ordering it, but I will tell you one thing. People come from all over Miami to this restaurant solely to eat that dish. And this place gets packed at lunch time. Me, after a few visits, haven't mustered enough courage to order it. The first time I came here, I was looking for the ceviche that my taste buds were requesting, the traditional one. I sat at the counter and the ceviche was brought to me in a clear glass bowl/cup that could easily be used to serve ice cream. I was a little taken aback by the presentation, but I dug in. As expected, the flavor was excellent, the fish was fresh, and it was a dish that you wouldn't mind repeating. But what really surprised me, besides the quirky presentation, was seeing that the dish was greatly improved by the container since the fish is completely soaked in the juices and the spices. That is the reason why I think this is probably the best ceviche in Miami at the time of this posting. After a few visits, I have tried many things on the menu. Of the more traditional dishes, I would say they are very good but not great. The strength of Divino Ceviche lies on the more inventive dishes, like the tacu tacu with seafood sauce, the fettuccine in huancaina sauce, any hot appetizer, and the ceviches in different sauces. My recommendation for first timers is to come here to enjoy non-traditional Peruvian food, that way new things are enjoyed, dishes that still taste like Peruvian food but don't fall short when compared to other Peruvian joints. Overall, Divino Ceviche is a great restaurant that is keeping up with trends regarding Peruvian food, which is moving along to the more inventive side of things. I wouldn't be surprised to see a new Peruvian restaurant pop up where foams and frozen ingredients are used in their presentations. Just remember I said it first. read more

3.5 This place happens to be my favorite go-to for Ceviche and arroz chaufa. It's got a nice vibe, a nice crowd, and although it's in a little unassuming horrible strip mall, it still managed to be trendy and hip inside. Like most places in Doral; it's a packed house, a packed parking and the bummer of all bums can be when you get the slowest server and your lunch becomes the longest lunch of all times which happens often and puts a major damper on the experience. Those three major issues are contributing factors as to why I limit my visits to this joint. The portions are on the larger side in my opinion and the prices are pretty reasonable in consideration and in comparison to its nearby competitors that don't add up in all categories. Divino Ceviche would be a higher contender in the stars world if the service were consistently good as opposed to sporadically and I noticed most reviewers tend to agree. My favorite is still the "Divino" although they must've given my little mango pieces to someone else today cause I barely had any in my mix but oh well... you win some, you lose some. Came in for a Friday night dinner and it was overall ok. We ordered a ceviche, the tiraditos, and a lomo saltado. The waitress took a long time to bring the food and once we complained they brought it right away, which gave me the impression that they were holding it so that we could order more drinks. After we ate we requested the check and paid, even though we were there for at least 30 minutes after the check arrived the waitress did not offer anymore water or checked on us even once, hey maybe we could use some water over here. Didn't expect restaurant of this caliber hiding inside this strip mall just off Palmetto. Once you sit down, they bring you a lovely presentation of sweet potato chips that are sliced long and ribbony, as well as gigantic fried choclo corn. You munch on the goodies as you peruse the menu, a mix of traditional Peruvian dishes and some fusion. The presentation is a step up from the family style establishments, but price is still reasonable. They don't have a lunch menu, though they have a couple of lunch specials (posted on the board outside but not mentioned in the menu). If you go for lunch, expect to pay a bit more - and receive a bigger portion than your average lunch. The Divino Ceviche is a crowd pleaser with its mango. The other beef and chicken dishes are good too. Definitely worth returning. read more

Usually a big fan of this restaurant, have been since 2017 but as of my last visit I am afraid I probably will not be returning. As far as the food went, everything was absolutely amazing BUT I did order a marinated ceviche cup. I love ceviche so I was aware of what I was getting myself into upon ordering. Unfortunately, It felt as if it were more lime juice and onion than seafood. I've tried other ceviche dishes from there before and this one just wasn't up to par. I ask my friend, a peruvian, if it was just a preference of mine or if it truly lacked on the seafood. We both came to the regrettable decision to ask our server, A taller latin woman with black hair and black glasses, to send it back. Her already mediocre service took a turn for the worse once we proceed to let her know of our concerns. She grabs my spoon to seek out the seafood I said it lacked. She goes behind my friend's back still looking through the ceviche cup when she turns and says "no hay pescado porque usted ordenó marisco". Her tone felt completely unnecessary and her demeanor was very unwelcoming. We wanted to order something else instead but her attitude made us ask for the check almost immediately after. Been to both locations and the name is accurate, their ceviche is divine. I dream about their ceviche when I know I'll be heading to FL - specifically their aji amarillo. If no one was looking, I'd lick the plate. Every meal begins with toasted (?) Peruvian corn, sweet potato chips (house made) and two dips, one more yummy than the other. My husband gets the frejole con seco, which is mind-bendingly good as well. But I can't live without their ceviche. This is one of the few Peruvian restaurants that actually offers vegetarian ceviche. My dinner started of with papa a la huancaina. They do ask how you would like the spice level which is a great touch. Cleanliness protocol was being followed thoroughly here. Service was start to finish consistent. I can only review this from a vegetarian perspective and let you know that it should make you very happy. My brother has been here and says the carnivore options are highly rated. This place is so delicious! We had the samples of all the ceviches, chaufa and beef noodles and it was all incredible. Lots of flavor and so authentic! Even the kids nuggets and fries were served with such great presentation. I also had the pizco sour and the mojito and both were delicious. There menu is great as well, so many options to choose from, I literally had to come back for a second time to try different choices from the menu that I didn't get to try the first time around. Pros: Full disclosure, I love "Ceviches by Divino" and as a Peruvian woman, I had very high expectations of their full menu location. We ordered the tiradito trio, the avocado and mango ceviche, the platano cups with cecina ceviche, the tacacho, and a regular shrimp causa. Overall all flavors were on point, my favorite new flavor was the cecina infused leche de trigger, the reason I did not give this place 5 stars is noted below. I honestly wish I could give it 3.5 stars. Cons: First of, service left a lot to be desired, it was a Saturday and they were extremely busy, our server was running like a chicken without a head, and service was poor over all, they need to hire more staff. We still left a 22% tip, I think it was more about poor management/scheduling. The tiradito trio had so much mayo/cream on it, it was off putting, I'm used to a fresh creamy flavor, not a fatty flavor for tiraditos, I will not order this appetizer again. The biggest downfall was the causa, my all time favorite Peruvian dish, I am used to layers of delicious potato, a layer of tuna/shrimp/chicken, another layer of avocado, and olives to top it off, a beautifully crafted cold potato lasagna, if you will. This was simply a BRICK of potato, with a few shrimp on top AND ONE SINGLE SLIVER OF AVOCADO!! It's avocado season, why couldn't I get enough to eat with each bite??? Also why was my causa dripping with mayo? Completely needless added fats. This place is good, I just could not get over their causa, I'm down with fusion and experimenting with flavors, but don't give me a BRICK of potato and call it a causa. read more

She had Seafood Chaufa, and I had Pescado a lo Macho. The Beef Tequeños were great as appetizers.
