Since we had been drinking a while, we decided to have pizza at the shop attached to the bar. They have a nice pizza oven and this was excellent. I have lived in many cities and I can never find other shot bars, which leads me to believe these people are geniuses. One group of 5 walks in and within 10 minutes, they've dropped $60 in shots, easy. Here's how it all works: you go in the front or back door, belly up to the bar, order your first round of shots. You meander down the bar a little, belly up again and order your second round. This proceeds until you're at the end and proceed out the other door and on to the next place (after playing in bottle cap alley). I miss this place. The burgers have become an assembly line. They cook 10-20 and toss them in a pan where they sit until it's moved down the line. Dry & cold. Koppe Bridge has a wonderful atmosphere. Old school country music playing. Creaky wooden floors. The one thing I CAN give the edge to Chicken Oil is the friendly and helpful staff! Because honestly..I've eaten at Koppe numerous times and literally every single time, the girls in the front are essentially snotty Sorority-type girls. Entered a raffle with an older couple for a pistol on the way out, which I wasn't expecting, but as the elderly gentlemen said, one can never have too many firearms.
