Service: sweet gal took our order over the phone, was patient in helping us decide between 2 pizzas as we were first timers and from out of town. She was also courteous when we arrived. Ambiance: it's roadside dinning. We had our dog with us and it was perfect. They have a row of wooden picnic tables but they felt more like for kids. One of the wooden tables is bigger though. I preferred the iron/metal table which we were able to score. Id say it's very family friendly no frills. Experience: we were very grateful to read all the yelpers review which told us about people who loved the pizza but were so angry about the time it took to be served. Because of that, as we were driving back to the city of Virgin after visiting the horseshoe bend in Paige Arizona, we were able to call in well in advance to place that order. What I put together over the phone was they had time slots mapped out. Upon arriving, I saw a sheet made that helps keep things consistent. It was a sheet with time slots and blank spaces below. The business has an algorithm for how fast they can shell out pizzas and you get what you get for how their flow of customers and size orders for the day. There was hardly a line there but a steady flow people coming to pick up or sit down and eat, so do make sure to CALL AHEAD. Pizzas are MADE TO ORDER, no premade items sitting around. The dough was enjoyable, included leoparding (dough rise marks) and had a slight chew in the bite. It was about 14 inches. We had not ate all day and there was 2 of us. No left overs/to-go. We had the Chicken Bacon Ranch but after arriving/ordering I wished I would have saw the "Hurricane". It's a meatier choice. Apparently the yelpers photos were old and didn't reflect all the current pizzas. I'll include photos of the most up-to-date menu on in this review. I'd definite come back again on my next trip to Zion and The Wave. I'd probably try the hurricane and have one of their specialty lemonades. Looking forward!

The pizza here is ridiculously good. I was in town for the weekend and remembered this place was on a list of one of the best pizza quality in the US. I called in and drove 30 min from St. George. Rolled in first thing as they opened. It's a small wood fired outdoor shack. Both workers were very friendly. I ordered a margarite pizza and siciliano with sausages, and the Nutella pizza. All of them were delicious. My kids loved the Nutella pizza. First off, the quality of the bread, cheese and ingredients is high end. And the price is reasonable. You get so much more for what you pay for. Best pizza easily in Utah and probably the best pizza I've ever had. Worth a long drive for!!

My friends and I called ahead before driving to our cabin for the evening, and it was ready in about 30 mins. The wagon is very cute and the owner was super nice - simple yet effective operation! We got 1/2 Margherita, 1/2 BBQ chicken and it was very yummy/perfect after a long day of exploring the parks!

Always love getting pizza here whenever we are in town to hike in Zion! Their pizza is amazing especially the Margherita pizza with the salt rim! It's so easy to place an order by phone or to just swing by. Their location outdoor with string lights and with a brick oven that gives their pizzas a great Smokey flavor.

This place came highly recommended by a friend, so we went out of our way to pay them a visit. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Ordered a Sicilian and Margarita. The Sicilian only had 5-6 pieces of sausage per slice and there were no salt on the margarita's crust. The crust was not 'airy' like other visitors posted here; kind of chewy. How would I rate this place? Perhaps between Little Caesar and Papa John. For $15 per pizza, completely not worth it. I WILL NEVER go out of my way to visit them again, but if I'm in the neighborhood, I would give them another shot. Best of luck.

THIS PIZZA IS BUSSIINNNNN!!!! I got the margarita pizza with pepperoni ($12) and it was soooo good!! They stop taking orders at 8 PM but they continue making the pizza, I got mine at 9:15. Make sure to order ahead they get really busy. 10/10

Great service, the pizza was ready on time, and it was delish!! And awesome prices! We got 1/2 Chicken bacon ranch and 1/2 Sicilian add pepperoni. The CBR was wayyy better (I was nervous about the bbq sauce on it, but it makes it!) 10/10 for sure. The Sicilian was good, but nothing "special" compared to the CBR. $13 total. Can't beat it!

We called in an order ahead of time. Very nice and kind folks running this small oThey gave us a pick up time and they were ON TIME! So we left with two fresh, hot pizzas (14"). Both were very tasty and satisfying! Plus, they are very inexpensive. If you're tired of dropping big bucks on meals while traveling, you should check out the Pizza Wagon!

This is a top notch establishment. Their customer service is unbeatable and the pizza is mouth watering delicious. We got pizza two nights in a row the two nights we were in hurricane, that's how insanely good it was. Call ahead to reserve your pizza time cause it's popular and the slots fill up fast. The pizza was ready right when they said it would be and they brought it right to our car. The crust is the perfect amount of chew and crisp to it and their menu is creative and delicious. Do your tastebuds a favor and eat this pizza! Be careful when putting the place in Apple Maps cause it is farther down the street than the address says and is closer to the wagon museum, past the Sinclair gas station.

Not sure how I didn't finish this review but coming through town on a road trip we found this place on Yelp with great reviews and decided to call and see if we were early enough to put in an order while we were on the road. We had to try a few times to get through but once we did, we put our order in and worked out great we were coming through town right when it would be about ready. Beware this is just a shack on the side of the road as I wasn't aware of that so we were looking for a strip mall or restaurant of some sort. Worked out OK when I called I asked them to give me directions and I was just right in the parking lot next-door. They were doing construction at the time, but she directed me to the right place. The pizza was fresh and and they were making it right there and turning it in the oven as we arrived. Put it in box and even though ours had a tiny little corner that got a little extra crispy, it was wonderful. We will definitely be back when we're in town again later this year now that we know what we're looking for and we know how to call ahead before they run out.

Excellent wood-fired pizza made fresh before your eyes! We've been going to this place fora couple of years...word is out and they are usually busy! Excellent pizza- we like the Sicilian and the Cowboy, and all the others! Hard working courteous staff. They are quick. Price is pretty good too! They have a couple picnic tables to eat at under some shade in a shared space with the Wagon Tacos food truck (which is also EXCELLENT). Sometimes our family gets pizza and tacos - depending on everyone's mood. Great quick bite and very affordable. $1.00 cold cans of soda. Best fast food in the area! read more

As good as advertised! The crust was terrific and the blends of ingredients and tastes were sublime. Steal of a price! $9 for a good size pizza! We tried three cheeses and the Italian Cowboy, IC was our family fav. I am going to make it a point to try the Sicilian and Margherita before we leave. Stopped by after hiking in Zion NP pursuant to other positive reviews. We were not disappointed. We arrived early, about 3:45 PM, and there were only 2 orders ahead of us. The very helpful young woman advised the wait would be about 10 minutes. The actual time was about 15 minutes, but after facing the long lines in Zion today that was definitely not a problem. We ordered the Luau and the Italian Cowboy pizzas. Took them home as we are staying close by. The pizzas are about 12" in diameter for those who think that these are the smaller "personal" size pizzas. They are large pizzas. The pizzas are truly cooked in a wood fired oven and the dough is hand tossed, thin crust styled. Both pizzas were excellent. We will return before we leave the area. read more

Great pizza! Called it in which made it effortless. Had the Cowboy w pepperoni added. They really don't add the black pepper and admit they need to remove that ingredient from the Yelp menu. Highly recommended! read more

We live locally so we get the pleasure of frequenting this establishment often. Never once have we been disappointed. I pity those who go elsewhere when they find there is a wait, it is worth your time! We have learned to call ahead as we always order several pizzas. I am glad they are only Thur-Saturday as we would eat there way too often. Their Nutella/Raspberry dessert Pizza is heavenly. You have to try it when you go! read more

got a half sicilian and hawaiian and it was amazing. perfectly light and hearty. the workers were super friendly and accommodating too cuz i drove in a bit after they closed (was doing a phone order beforehand and didnt realize they would be closed by the time i got there). odd thing though... there was a stack of pizzas when was picking it up, and i feel like the guy pulled out my box before even asking my name or number. he definitely wasnt the one who took my order so that was kind of cool? then again i might be remembering wrong cuz im pretty tired from hiking. either way great place. would come again 10/10 read more

A local family makes it in a traditional oven they built. The thin crusted pizza is excellent and by far the best pizza in Hurricane .. it's made fresh to order as you wait and takes about 10 minutes if there's not a large crowd. read more

Thanks to other Yelpers we found this place. These guys are awesome. The pizza is delicious, and we specifically appreciated the fact that they're ready to be in the parking lot, in the middle of the harsh cold winter time, to provide a unique experience, in a small town, and in the middle of all the fast-food chain places around. We had Greek Pizza, which was great (though the cucumbers and feta cheese were really cold since they're added after the pizza is out of the oven). The dough is fantastic. read more

Came here in the end February on the way to zion. When I first saw this place, I was thinking how good can it be. But since it's 5star, I gave it a try.. I have to say I'm still craving for it right now in Chicago! It's the best pizza I've EVER had!! The guy there is really nice. Told me the best places to visit. Very friendly cute family! This place is great!! Got to Hurricane and was looking for a place to eat and looked on yelp and stumbled upon this gem!!! Cheap, original, and delicious!! My mom and I got stuffed out of an $8 pizza meal!! Definitely recommend this place! It is out in the middle of the street, so don't miss it! If you, the reader are considering some other silly Hurricane fast food joint. ....STOP! Good food should never be fast; and cheap food is just that. I promise you, the ten minute wait will make the Pizza taste even better since you will have spent that time inhaling the dreamy smells of wood fire and pizza dough. Finally got to stop at the Pizza Wagon on my way through Hurricane. I've been looking forward to this pizza since I have very rarely had the opportunity to get a good wood fired pizza. This is a very good wood fired pizza. I had the Greek Pizza which is a perfect, thin crust lightly slathered with red sauce, baked in their wood - fired oven, then topped with fresh sliced cucumbers and olives, and generously covered with large nuggets of feta cheese. After being drizzled with olive oil, this glorious demonstration of simple perfection was set in a box, placed in my hands and quickly devoured by my wife and me. read more

This was very good. We almost missed the rustic trailer under a cover. Well worth the "hunt". We had the Cowboy yummy, and the Sicilian both were great. It was very fun watching them prep and cook our delicious food. There is nothing quite like a pizza from a wood oven. The perfect meal after a day hiking in Zion. read more

Great pizza! I only wish they were open all week long. A good thing is you can call ahead with your order because I can assure you with tasty pizza like this, there is going to be a wait time. They are upfront with how long it may actually take and are pretty accurate with the wait time they quote you. Worth the wait but I would definitely plan ahead. read more

ahhhh, the Pizza Wagon! I drove by this vendor oven several times. I noticed several people in line one day and decided to stop. The family there is friendly and allowed my kids watch them make and cook the pizza's while we waited. The pizza's were great and for the money you get more than what you pay for. Fresh ingredients and all made from scratch. If you have driven by and have been curious, stop and give them a try you'll be pleasantly surprised. read more

Amazing! We moved down here almost a year ago now and have driven past many times and noticed it always being busy with people. Finally tried it for ourselves and understand why! It was quick and delicious! For $4 more you get a higher quality pizza at least 10 minutes faster than you will get a $5 hot n ready pizza at Little Caesars down the road. The best pizza is HERE ! Always freshly made and delicious. We've had the pepperoni, Cowboy, and the margarita. All were EXCELLENT. This is a family run place, and they do a great job ! They are open 12 to 8 pm, Thursday through Saturday. Call ahead to order, (435) 327-2503. read more

Wow! I haven't had pizza this good in so long! It was up there with Lombarti's in NYC! We were hungry after an all day canyoneering trip in zions and had to figure out where to eat on the way home. Yelp led us to this place based strictly off on distance. Boy were we glad when we saw what we would be eating! This place is no nonsense and has literally 6 types of pizza on its menu. There were 3 people working there and were cranking out pizzas in this open air (located in a parking lot) kitchen of sorts. We opted for the Greek and added onions to it. The perfectly cooked thin crust with the salty bite was the most amazing base for the the feta, olives, onions and cucumbers. (Yes, cucumber!!) I was hesitant about them but they definitely add to the pizza in a great way! You order and then hang out in your car. They'll wave you down when it's ready. You pay then. (Totally reasonable pricing! Ours was $9) You can then eat at their one picnic table, take it home or eat it in your car. We chose the last option. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! I think we've found our place for trips to and from zions national park! read more

When traveling, yelp is my go to for places to eat. After reading the reviews, we decided we must try this place. I called in our order after we finished hiking Zion National Park. We ordered the italian cowboy and hawaiian pizza. I got there in time to watch them bake which was really neat. The service was very friendly and the pizza amazing! I couldn't believe thr prices. Only $16 for both pizzas! The quality and taste was the best I have had. Definitely make a stop. I believe they are only open Thursday-Sunday. read more

i saw the yelp feedback and decided to go to this place for pizza and discovered that this business is a roadside food stand located in a parking lot.... it was cold outside but we ordered three pies. while waiting and watching the pizzas being made from scratch, I spoke to the man operating the oven. he told me about the secrets to great pizzas and had some wise words about family and life in southern utah. we grabbed the pizzas and walked back across the road to our hotel. when i took my first bite i was amazed at the incredible fresh flavor, crispy and slightly chewy crust and the perfect ratio of sauce to ingredients to crust. if you find yourself in hurricane, you owe it to yourself to try dixie pizza. read more

Wood fire pizza oven this will get you four star by itself. They put the pizza over the firewood at the end to get the wood chip flavor around the edge. The amount of toppings are fair.
