I been here multiple times and really love the foods and services except for the last time gave me a unsatisfied experienced! A female waitress was being very unprofessional or not well trained. I asked for more broth for the "pha lau" coz I would like an extra noodle and more broth and she immediately said no, she cannot give me more broth because that's how the portion being serve like that. I could only get extra noodle, and whatever they gave me on the broth that's what I have, she can't give me extra! I didn't mind to pay extra for the noodle and broth and her answer was throwing me off about what she said unprofessionally and that they can't satisfy the customer! Also, asking for more broth isn't something they don't have or can't offer whether it's with charge or complimentary and her answer was very unprofessional! I pay for the foods, I didn't beg for one or eat for free, so it was very unprofessional of her to not given the customer the extra stuffs that they asked for. If u need to charge extra then simply inform the customer that it will be an extra charge of $1-$2 which I think it's ridiculous having to pay for it cos non of the restaurant I been to ever gave me a problem of asking for extra broth cos what they did was to just write in the order form "add extra broth", simple as that! This is the first time I experienced this and it was a very unsatisfied weird experienced! I asked to speak to a manager and there was none there on that day! I hope management considering re-train ur staff as this will sure make u loose customer for having an unprofessional staff! read more

I normally don't drink the broth for noodles but I love the broth for bun cha ca at DK's Kitchen! The broth is well seasoned and not too salty and definitely not bland. The fish cake is so on point! It is one of my favorite things to eat! My hubby enjoys Vietnamese food but he can be quite picky but he really likes the fish cake! The crab meat, shrimp, and pork udon is also really good! The broth is seasoned well and not watery and comes with mushrooms. Both hubby and I also enjoyed this dish. The portion is big. The banh canh here is delicious and will absolutely satisfy your cravings! I grew up on banh canh and have tried a handful of other places in GG, and none of them hit the spot like this one. Everything is just right. It's not overly salty, not overly bland, not goopy, and all the toppings complement it very well, especially the pieces of cha. Definitely a hidden gem! And Diem was super sweet and lovely The restaurant is located inside the market and the outdoor seating you can see from the front of the market. Once you go into the market, take a left and the restaurant will be at the very end. I had take out and got the spring rolls and rose lychee drink. Their Bánh Canh Udon was alright, not that special. Soup was not that flavorful tasting. Bánh Canh was same as Quê Anh Quê Em. Nothing special. The noodles udon was just not that chewy. My mom and I like eating here. My go to is the bánh canh and hers is the bún riêu. The bánh canh has lots of toppings, I especially love their fish cake in it. The broth is delicious with lemon and their minced chilis. My mom likes how they have a whole jar of mắm ruốc (fermented shrimp paste) so she can add as much as she likes. Most restaurants only give you a small spoon of it in a little dish. The items are on the pricier side compared to the size of the portion but at least it's tasty read more

A lady seems like the owner welcomed to dine in and told us about the promotion. There is a free drink if we order over $20, I got the Rose Lychee Tea with crystal boba (Trà hoa hồng trái vải). The fish cake was more on the saltier and peppery side. I wish I could've substituted the pork. Two of my other friends wanted rice dishes, so they ordered the hainan chicken. It was more on the smaller side. Being that they are grown men, it wasn't filling enough for them. They did appreciate that it did come with a side soup. Great taste and good portion size. We have tried banh canh cua (crab noodle soup), bun vit mang (duck bamboo noodle soup) and bun ca (fish noodle soup). Their broths all taste very good. The banh canh has thicker broth and several chunks of crab meat. The bun vit mang comes with salad and 3-4 pieces of juicy duck meat. The salad is not sour and the duck doesn't smell. The bun ca is great too and it comes with thick pieces of cha ca (fish paste). They put a lot of pepper in cha ca so those who don't like spice be careful. We also tried their drinks and they were ok, might be too sour for everyone. Overall a gem, I recommend this place for family gathering. read more

Never coming back. Ordered #14 that dish comes with 2 egg rolls and they cut it in half. I took one bite and it wasn't fully cooked on the inside. So I spit the egg roll out. so they took the dish back and refried the egg rolls. It came back with the same 3 half pieces I asked them where is the 4 forth half. They said that I bit it already and spit it out so they couldn't give me a forth piece. Doesn't make sense. So I asked them I still have to pay for the full dish even though the other piece of egg roll is cold. I told them take back the piece I bit that was not cook and recook it. Lol. At the end of it all they apologize but and gave us 1 pice of egg roll. But damn why couldn't they do that from the beginning and not give us a bad dining experience. Tonight we had spring rolls, Bun Bo Hue, Pho Chin (brisket), and speciality yogurt drinks: Spring rolls were freshly made and filled with shrimp, pork, lettuce and vermicelli noodles. My absolute favourite part of this appetizer was their unique dipping sauce!! Bun Bo Hue was so delicious- spicy and salty with that deep lemongrass flavor! I love pho, but do yourself a favor and try their bun bo hue! Pho Chin (brisket pho) was delicious as well- very flavourful yet still light! The broth was perfect, so aromatic and must've taken many hours to prepare. Their fruit yogurt drink was a sweet addition to our meal! It was my first time eating here and the food was super delicious! Customer Service was really good and was very attentive. The Thai tea was made to perfection you could really taste the tea they added just the right amount of cream just a bit and not over do it. Most places sometimes over do it with the cream and that's all you taste but here it was made just right. I got the spring rolls without pork just a preference they where super delicious and the sauce was amazing as well had a unique flavor not your typical sauce love that. The shaking beef rice let me tell you I ate that up real quick super delicious left no crumbs the flavor was amazing. Will definitely order that again and be back. The side salad might look a little basic but the dressing they put not sure what it is but tasted delicious. Overall I enjoyed my meal and will definitely be back. I tried Banh canh cua here, it was super delicious. The taste is quite similar to my favourite place in Vietnam. I'm so happy that I can find the same taste here in The US. The crab, shrimp, mushroom,...was so good to go together. The owner is very sweet, she often comes and askes about the food, with a nice voice. I got lychee tea drink, it's nice. But to me It's a bit pricey. $4.5 for a small cup, with a lot of ice. I think they should reduce the price, or serve in a larger cup, or less ice. read more

The bun rieu has very little toppings, a couple of sad pieces of tofu and egg loaf. Soup was not crabby or fragrant. I can do better with a blindfold on. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Little Saigon. We ordered 4 dishes and they were all so good: Banh Canh Cua, Bun Rieu, Bun Cha Ha Noi, Com Bo Luc Lac. I'm Vietnamese and I approved all of these dishes. They taste pretty much like in Vietnam. I can't wait to come back to try other food on their menu. Highly recommend this place.
