The menu is minimal, but they had a good variety, if that makes sense. We had the egg rolls, spring rolls, pho, canh bun and bo ne. Pho was a luke earm, but everything was pretty flavorful. Two minor things that I think could use some improvement. 1: Upon walking up from the parking lot, the back area where the grease traps for both restaurants (I'm assuming) are very visable and unpleasant to the eyes and nose. There should be some coverage or better maintenance there. Also, the timing of the food delivery. Dipping my piece of bread in a bit of pate, liver spread, into that gooey egg yolks and took a bite of the filet mignon and put it in my mouth... then heard the voices of angels from above singing the Halleluia beautifully!! It was that delicious! Bun rieu was good also. My partner & I finished everything on the plate & drank all the bun rieu broth. I don't think the kitchen helper don't even need to wash my plate and bowl, cuz they were so clean from me eating every bit of food there. Our party shared the bánh cuốn Đặc biệt ($15) as our app. It comes with an assortment of rice sheets and a variety of pork-ish rolls (steamed, fried, fermented, etc.). I found the rice sheets a bit hard in texture and a bit odd in flavor. Bánh cuốn should be pillowy soft and this was not it. I ordered the canh bún ($16). It comes with a thicker rice noodle, shrimp cake, fried tofu, pork blood, fried meatballs, hue pork roll, chives, and water spinach. The broth was good and flavorful. I liked it, though my bowl could have stood for more noodles. Of the things I tried, I liked the bún riêu ($16) the least. She told me that she absolutely loved it and totally cleaned her plate at the end of the meal. My pho was exquisite as well. The broth was very tasty and slightly sweet due to its beefiness. The meats were also quite good with the sliced rib eye being the best of them all. I was in the area and stopped by here for dinner. I did stop by Bep Viet once about two months ago but the restaurant was closed that day. I noticed that they have good reviews so wanted to try again. I am always up for good eats. :) It was a great decision. I learned that Bep Viet is also owned by the same owner of Quan Bun. What a coincidence! I love Quan Bun but haven't been back in a while since it is a bit out of the way for me. Had the House Special rice rolls (Banh cuốn dac biet) and canh bun, another house special and my favorite dish from Quan Bun. They both were very delicious. Rice rolls had the perfect chewiness and all protein that came with it were so good. Serving was a tad small though but it was fine. Canh bun, needless to say, was amazing. I ordered without the pork blood cakes. Service was fantastic. The young men with the glasses (server and cashier) was polite, respectful, and attentive. Back here again after 8 months, decided to bring a friend for lunch here on a Sunday at noon. Fortunately wasn't too crowded - plenty of parking in the plaza. We got a booth table upstairs as I wanted immediately (last time I was here, the upstairs wasn't complete yet. Ambiance - beautiful, clean, I love the two floor layout too, and the nice part is if you sit upstairs and need their help, you don't need to run downstairs to talk to them, there's a buzzer button to press and they'll be there. Stellar service here at Bep Viet. Brought my mom here for an early lunch. The banh cuon dac biet was delicious as usual and has a good amount of veggies to complement the dish. The meat spring roll was very light and filled with veggies to my delight. I think if it had another thin layer of meat it would've been perfect. The BBH (bun Bo hue) had a nice light broth. They take online reservations via Yelp, open early at 8am, we came here at 10am there was plenty of seating so there is no need to make reservations. The restaurant is two level with nice decor of plant theme. We ordered canh bun a noodle soup with meat roll, crab meatballs, ong choy vegetable. The soup is flavorful and clean tasting. The only downside is service can be spotty and clumsy I heard dishes drop, and walking by the outside backside it smelled bad like trash. Positives: -parking, being further out of the main little Saigon area it had a large parking lot and finding parking was easy. -size, the restaurant is very large and can easily accommodate more that 5 people. Note that if you bring six or more you're getting that 18% California automatic tip surcharge. Just leaving that here because it can be a shock when you pay. -service was quick and friendly. They also pay attention to you which is a plus for Vietnamese restaurants. Negatives: -food was okay. My wife got the dry pho. The broth was too herbal (strong cinnamon and star Elise taste). I got the bun rieu and it tasted good at first and had a good amount of meat.. Though I got a head ache later. I don't have a sensitivity to MSG unless they put too much. Overall 4/5 My parents paid for us and they actually liked this spot which is rare. However, I would not come back unless someone else is paying. It was delicious and only $22. The filet was tender, recently I had filet elsewhere that was chewy enough that it could potentially knock out my crowns! LOL! 1 think though they could get a better baguette, the baguette here taste kind of lame. Three of us wanted to go out to eat in FV for Thanksgiving, so I RSVP'd through Yelp. When we arrived, an employee greeted us in a nice way. We decided to sit on the first floor, which had beautiful flowers. The food tasted authentic. While I thought part of the spring roll was too salty, I liked how there was more moisture in the rice paper, lettuce, and shrimp than in spring rolls sold at other places. They also do not skimp out on the protein, which is very much appreciated. If you're looking for something warm or you're feeling under the weather, this is the dish to get. I ordered BBH and Bun Canh to go. Both are good in my opinion especially Bun canh . I ordered the Bun canh for the next day and it was just how I remember bun canh from childhood. The spring rolls was decent but not the VN coffee. The coffee tasted so weird. I threw away the coffee. It was so bitter and taste nothing like VN coffee. A Cute place with second floor seating as well. Good location with ample of parking. So many BBH restaurants in Little Saigon, this place is on my top five for BBH. Same family with Quan Bun in GG so the taste is very much the same. I'm glad they open their second location near 405 freeway. It is easy for me to hope on and off to head home. I will come back for other dishes. read more

Second time back because we really enjoyed our meal last time. However, we came this time for dinner on a Wednesday night and did not realize that they closed at 8:00 pm. We walked in seven minutes before closing time and the staff was super accommodating and polite. I still had no idea they were closing soon. We only realized it after placing our order because the menu was limited due to the kitchen being closed, but were still able to enjoy the two items that we came for. The waiter graciously told us to take our time and did not want us to feel rushed (of course we still ate quickly). The chicken wings are an absolute must and are so delicious!! I'm still craving that as I'm writing this right now. Definitely amazing service as well!!! read more
