The old faucet won't come off, so he recklessly kept pounding and pounding my kitchen sink really loud until the old faucet came off and left a crack on my kitchen sink which I noticed after a few days. I kept calling and calling them no one picks up. He replaced my kitchen faucet on Oct 26, 2023. Home warranty assigned this contractor. I kept calling and calling the home warranty, so they sent an email to the plumbing company several times, he never calls, finally, after more than a month, I got a word from the home warranty that the plumbing supervisor will call me the next day and he didn't so I tried calling the plumbing company, finally Jennifer answered and said that Dave the owner/supervisor will call back. He called on December 13,2023 and I talked to him only to deny that his plumber Isaac never does the pounding and pounding, how can he deny something he wasn't even there, my daughter and my husband were present during the installation of my new faucet. Dave said that the kitchen sink is old. Dave is also denying that it's a crack, he said it's the paint peeling off, and that he will only replace my kitchen sink if it was new? Of course it's old but it doesn't have to take a beating like that because it's old? My appointment with Isaac was12-4pm and he arrived around 6pm. Isaac said my kitchen sink needs replacement in 2 years, but what he did will make it sooner? read more

They spent- about $8 min assessing the job to say- oh we dont do that, its not covered under your contract. Terrible and waste of money. The man did not care and it clearly showed. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from DN Plumbing, Inc. If there were a contest for "The worst plumbing company ever", I would like to nominate DN Plumbing (Norwalk). They should be the winners. Our kitchen sink was blocked. Isaac from DN Plumbing came twice, each time spent in our kitchen less than 10 minutes, saying that "there was no access" and that "he had no time since he had another job". Meanwhile, the dispatcher tried to claim that the second request was for "a different (new) job". Not true - both times it was about the blockage in our (one and only) kitchen sink. These guys are incompetent, lazy, and dishonest. Eventually after 9 days without being able to use the sink (and dishwasher) we called a plumber from a local company who worked for about an hour and fixed the problem. I would not recommend DN Plumbing, Inc. to anyone. Their service is unprofessional, and their plumbers are not qualified. As the homeowner you have the right to refuse this company. We are new homeowners and had a drainpipe damage in our newly purchased home. David went to our to diagnose the problem and reported to American Home shield that we didn't have any holes in our pipe . I even asked him if he is sure and he said 100% with a smirk on his face. I also informed him that the previous plumbers from our Home owners insurance found multiple holes and damages in our pipe due to corrosion. He is straight out a liar . Good thing we asked for a second opinion and the 2nd plumber confirmed that our drain pipe was completely rotten and needs to be replaced. Be aware homeowners !!! read more

I got service from this company through first American home warranty (which is another story) from the time I filed my claim for a water heater it took 10 days for them to replace it, the technician said it would be $350 out of pocket because they needed to do a retro fit which the warranty didn't cover (total bs), the tech forgot to turn on the water heater when he was done so we waited 4 hours for it to completely heat the water after I turned in on, just recently I had a main line break and needed a tech asap, they got back to me 4 days after I filed the claim but I missed the call, returned the call 30 mins later no answer, left a message nothing, I went ahead and got someone else outside the warranty and replaced the main line a day later, no regrets, these clowns would have charged a bogus fee and who knows how long it would have taken them to come out and replace the main line. read more

This is the 2nd time I have used this company through American home shield. 1st work was with our shower handle that was just broken because it was old and David came in to fix it within 30-45mins. Professional guy tells you how it is and respectful! Then 6months later shower spout needed to be replaced after calling DN plumbing I requested for David who came with his partner to replace it and 2 days later they came and fixed it in 15mins and educated me on how to avoid getting it messed up again. We bought a new home (not new construction) and one of the showers was leaking behind the wall. We called First American Home Warranty who assigned DN plumbing to our case. He came out evaluated it and said that it was covered rescheduled and then finally came out to make repairs. On the day of repair he made a big mess in the shower area and did not clean it up. He then said it was not covered suddenly. When I called to Find out why it was not covered I was told that the technician advised there was mold everywhere and it needed a full repipe which is not what we were told by the owner. The owner David Neff who was our technician said there was no mold and it needed a pipe repair. He told the warranty company something completely different than what he told us. He was very very rude and condescending to my wife. Not professional at all did not seem to care one bit about customer satisfaction. I would not hire him again for anything ever and requested a new company through home warranty. Shame on you DN plumbing. read more

So we had a washer drain overflow issue going on, and the home warranty dispatched DN plumbing to our house, they gave us a 4 hours time frame (8-12)for the appointment, and they did not arrive until 1pm, no one even brother to call us to inform us they are running late, and they don't call ahead to inform you they are on their way too. So you just have to stay home and wait. So the plumber came, and roughly checked, and did not even brother to use the snake to try to clean out the drain, and told me the drain is not clogged, just the washer drain hose inserted too deep, then he left right after, coz he's running late for the other appointments. So we ran the washer right after, of course the the drain is still overflowing, so we have call them back, of course we have wait for almost a week for another available appointment. So the second appointment, same thing, 4 hours time frame, (8-12), and this time they arrived around 10ish, and we were walking our dog nearby, so we have to rush back to our house immediately, and of course, they did not call ahead to inform us they are coming, otherwise we could have got back home before they are here. And guess what, last time they were late their customer service did not brother to call us, and this time, their customer called right away, blaming us for not being home, and threatening their plumber will leave if we don't show up in few minutes. How convenient for them, and as a customer you can't win either way. So this time, the plumber used the snake to clean out the drain, and guess what? The problem is fixed...which could have been done at the first time. read more

Saturday morning I didn't have any hot water. I called my home warranty and they said someone would be out from 2p to 6p. At 6:30 DN plumbing showed up (late). I was told the pilot was out. He lite it and said I needed to vacuum around water heater, it had cobwebs. I paid a $75 service fee for a min job, and I could have lite it my self. I'm very disappointed in this company. Yes, this is a real review from someone who was referred to them by their home warranty company AHS and David was nothing less than spectacular. The amount of high reviews I give can be counted on one hand (counting fingers only ... not including my thumb). I did not let David know it, but I am a Certified Fraud Specialist and have uncovered over $250 million worth of fraud in my career. If I have any pluming problems I will be telling my home warranty company that I will not accept anyone else. David was amazing. If you look and say, damn, this guy writes so much, its because I'm anal. Yes I'll admit it. The summary of the story is that I have a rare specialty unit that is a combination tankless hot water heater and central heating system. Here in the US, those are about as rare as seeing a Delorian (AKA car from the movie Back to The Future). So many places say they will work on them only to show up and say we work on almost everything except that. I am so grateful to have found David. The ONLY reason why I have the home warranty is that it can cost thousands to fix my unit. The 3 companies in the LA area that work on this and other types of specialty units charge over $300 an hour plus they mark up the cost of their parts by 50% too. I know my parts probably cost close to $500 and even if a $300/ hour expert was working on my unit, the labor would have been at least $1,000. Long story short David went above and beyond to take care of me and I really appreciate it. THANK YOU AGAIN DAVID !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know sometime you see glowing reviews and think ..... is that a real review. Well this definitely is. One thing you want to check on people making reviews is how long they have been on yelp. You can click on their profile and see how long they have been on yelp and you can see if all they gave are glowing reviews for everybody. I live on the promenade in downtown long beach in a condo complex that was built in 2007. Well to make a long story short, the developer installed a combination tankless water heater and central heating system (to most plumers this is like a unicorn here in the US --- they are much more prevalent in Europe). The manufacturer is Baxi and they are located in Italy (if I could do a review of the manufacturer I would give them negative stars if I could). The home warranty company initially assigned me to a different plumber, and knowing how rare my unit was, before scheduling an appointment, I called them. I explained to them about my unit and they said they would work on it so I scheduled the service call. They come out look at the unit and are befuzzled and say they will not even touch the thing. I then call back AHS and say I need someone who will work on my unit and I gave them specific explanation that they needed to say when they were calling their contractors. They said they found one (I was shocked as there are only 3 companies in the LA area that will work on my beast) named Up To Code Pluming. I called that company up and left a message that I would like to talk to the owner. I got a call back and explained that I did not want to waste my time or theirs. The owner said yes he has heard of the unit and the manufacturer. He said he would send his most experienced technician who has tried to work on them before. The owner said that one of the problems with working on the unit is that the manufacturer is in Italy and it is hard to get a hold of them, plus the unit does not give specific error codes so it is difficult to find out what the real problem is. I scheduled the service call for 5 days later as they were fully booked. The afternoon they were supposed to come I called them to make sure they were coming for the scheduled appointment. The owner claimed to have just talked with a regional manager at AHS and said that was I needed was a specialist that worked on both pluming and HVAC and that AHS was going to call me with a specialist. I called back AHS the next day when I never got a call from them. AHS said that they only received a call from the owner of Up To Code Plumbing saying that that they did not even want to touch the unit for liability reasons and cancelled the service call. I spoke with AHS and told them that this time they had to find someone who would work on the unit or I wanted them to pay for the $300 / hr experts. It took them 2 days and they came back with DN Plumbing. At first when David showed up I was skeptical thinking that they too would say they don't work on it. David said that he had been out to my building for another unit in the past. He said that he might have to return when the manufacturer was open as they sometimes won't troubleshoot with plumbers if they are not in front of the unit. David noted what was wrong with the unit and said he would contact the manufacturer. I have a new home warrenty. The first plumbing company they sent told me I need a special heater or water regulator to get hot water to my kitchen. Both of these were not covered by the warrenty. DN Plumbing came out and determined the problem was as simple as replacing the faucet. The warrenty did not cover the color I wanted so they ordered it and charged me less than they quoted me which was already very cheap. Every day I'm appreciating having excellent water flow and hot water. I will definitely use DN plumbing for all my future plumbing needs. They were honest and efficiently fixed my problem. Aiyaiyai! What a terrible company. Like everyone else here, I had a bad experience with them. First American assigned them as my plumbers and after waiting 2 days with a backed up toilet and a bathtub full of sewage, they show up an hour late past the 4 hour window. Two guys show up (nice enough, I'll give them that) with no tools. They run the water, use my plunger, and ask about a washout point. I have no idea what that is but I walk around the house with him and he says there's not one. He can't do anything for my clogged drain unless I have a washout point and to get one put in would cost $1600 out-of-pocket. My husband and I ask about other options and he is insistent that there is none, but we should definitely call him if we want to do the installation. We ask about snaking and he says it'll break the toilet (other plumbers have said they can remove it first, which he does not mention at all). He leaves within 8 minutes of showing up and the bathroom is still clogged. Fast forward three more days of dealing with First American and telling them about the fiasco with DN Plumbing, I call my own plumber and within 2 minutes of their arrival, they find the washout point a few feet beyond the house in the yard (aka where DN Plumbing says they would install the new one). They snake it out and my bathroom is fully functioning again. What a stinking waste of time. Never never again. read more

WARNING! BEWARE! This company was contracted through my Home Warranty around January 17, 2022.. I needed my sewage line cleared due to stoppage. Today is February 12, 2022. Contacting the company is impossible; their voice mailbox is constantly full, and when I did get through to leave a message, no one returned my calls, even my property management company tried to contact them multiple times.. The most concerning part is that there is no email address to contact this company, as you can see on this Yelp page. The contractor told my warranty company that the service request was completed, but I never received an inspection report, and they never came to my home. I tried to contact the company multiple times, and so did the Home Warranty company. I complained that the service request was not completed.The warranty company noted all my calls to support my complaint. Even the Home Warranty company was unable to contact someone at the company. This company is the worst when it comes to customer service and rapid response, beware; they are unreliable and impossible to contact. Don't waste your time. On 1/28/23, my home warranty company was contacted (AHS) and they contracted DN plumbing. DN plumbing never called me ti schedule an appointment. I had to call them. They came out to my home on 1/30/23. The technician stated that a part (heating/gas chamber) had gone out. The water heater was installed in 2019. The tech stated that he would contact the manufacturer and it would take about a few days to get the part. On 2/2/23 called AHS to see if they received an update fron DN plumbing. No update reported. On 2/7/23, called AHS and still no update from DN plumbing. On 2/8/23, called DN plumbing. Was told that the part was ordered and would be delivered to my home. Part received on 2/9/23. Called DN plumbing on 2/10/23. Agreed on next available date of when a technician vould come out. On 2/16/23, tech from DN plumbing came out, installed the new part. Was told to wait 45 minutes.. waited the 45 minutes and of course, still no hot water. Called DN plumbing on 2/17/23, was told that a tech was nit available until 2/20/23. Tech came out ignited the pilot and stated to me that it may be a defected part and that there should have been new wires sent with the part, as whenever a new heat housing is installed there should also be new wires. There were no new wires installed . The tech stated that he wiuld contact the manufacture (GE) anout the part. On 2/22/23, called DN plumbing about an update. Explained the situation to the lady Jennifer, who seems to be the only person that answers the phone. She handed me to David, who is reportedly the supervisor. According to David, he and Isaac had a different conversation than Isaac had with me. Isaac told David that the water heater was repaired; but Isaac told ne, the consumer that the new part was possibky defected, new wires that connect to the part shoukd have also been ordered and installed and that there was no gurantee that the pilot would remain lit. David, in a non chalant demeanor, kindly shared that a conversatiin had NOT been had with the manufacture, the water heater was repaired...so when I challenged him on what he was saying to me, he tried to make me feel as if I had done something wrong to the water heater. I too had the unfortunate experience of David Neff being dispatched to "fix" my plumbing issues by First American Home Warranty Company. David came out on two different instances. The first for a clogged sink, in which his solution was to push the clog from one sink to the other on a shared line. The next time the pilot light on our water heather came out in addition to the 2nd clogged sink. He cleared the sink and now the tub doesn't drain correctly. According to him 40 min to drain a bath tub is "industry standard". He also stated the pilot light unit would need to be replace and the work was not covered under warranty. We reluctantly agreed to pay out of pocket as we desperately need hot water back in the house after going on 2 weeks. The receptionist stated he would be out between 8-12 Monday. At 7:52 am, after taking the morning off, his secretary calls to state he would not be able to make it out until between 2 - 6 pm. He comes to replace the part only to state that now the entire water heater needs to be replaced. But he would be charging us for the pilot light + labor as well as the new water heater. When I questioned him he got angry and was very condescending towards me ignoring me and attempting to only speak to my husband. When I finally got him to state a an out the door price for the issue to be resolved he gave a price that was $75 more than what was originally quoted. I even agreed to that price and requested a bill as I wanted to follow up with the warranty company. He became extremely angry and then refused to the work stating he would be calling his attorney to place a lien on our home for $175 in labor he wanted to charge. In addition to the stuff above I also caught him in lies when trying to prove his point, ie he was standing right there when his receptionist gave me information only to turn around and say well she gave you wrong information, when I countered well if you were standing right there why didn't you correct her? He had no answer. Orin one breath he stated he said xyz then a second later say no I said abc. THIS GUY IS BAD NEWS STAY FAR AWAY!!!! DN Plumbing was the contractor that was sent to me by First American Home Warranty, since our water heater that wasn't working. The technician from DN Plumbing diagnosed and told my husband that he was going to order a part for our water heater on Dec. 19th. My husband offered to pay expedited shipping since we have two children and I was carrying hot water that I heated from the stove to their bath tub. I called DN Pumbing several times and was told that the part would be delivered by the following Wednesday or Thursday (Dec. 26th or 27th) of the following week due to the Christmas holiday. On Monday, Dec. 31st, I received an email with an advance shipment notice from Rheem Manufacturing that the part would be shipped via Federal Express. I then spoke to a representative at Rheem where the part had been ordered and was told the part had just been ordered Sunday, December 30th, which indicates to me that I was waiting for a shipment the previous week that had not been ordered. I called and spoke to representatives at First American Home Warranty and explained my disappointment and concerns. The part had arrived and I requested that they schedule DN Plumbing to come and make the repairs necessary as soon as possible. At this point my family and I had been without hot water for over 2 weeks. DN Plumbing told the representative the earliest appointment was for Friday Jan. 4th. I unfortunately was not surprised that that was their response to a situation I find to be frustrating, and inconcievable. The technician from DN Plumbing arrived today on Jan. 4th and finally repaired our water heater. It appears to be fixed, but left the work area a mess. Home warranty company assigned DN Plumbing for my Garbage Disposal issue. Receptionist was friendly and I was seen in a timely matter. Technician came out ahead of schedule time, but unfortunately didn't have the HP disposal I needed on his trk. He apologized and said I should get a call for a reschedule as soon as they know they have it in stock or have to order which should be only a couple of days. When I didn't here from them after a week I call and the receptionist was friendly and set me up another appt, again the technician was ahead of schedule, so he came early repl the disposal. After reading all reviews we were kinda leery to have service on our water heater that gave out Sunday (no hot water) with DN Plumbing but since we have First American Home Warranty we had no choice but to use DN Plumbing Service. This company subcontracts for American Home Shield (AHS). They do not even answer phone calls from AHS who has their "emergency phone number". At least that's what one of the AHS agents said. Horrible experience. The guy who came out was nice enough but because this was a First American Home Warranty claim they did nothing. Told me they would have to check with FAHW and get back to me. A week went by and no word. When I called they said, "Oh, that claim was denied, sorry we did not get back to you." I called them back to try and schedule the "routine maintenance" they said was needed and the woman told me she would have to check with her manager to schedule service and someone would call me back that afternoon. NOBODY called. I called them back at the end of the day and left a message. STILL NO CALL. I tried calling this morning. They are not answering the phone and the voice mail box is full! Was assigned this company by first American home warranty I came home at 8:30pm to find no hot water I have small children asked FAHW if we could get this call expedited they said yes we will place it as a high priority call. I called DN when the opened at 8 on Thursday morning asked did they receive the info from FAHW they said yes they gave me a appointment with a time frame for 12-4 for a high priority call ok whatever they were over an hour late didn't call to notify me got here said oh your pilot is out and vents are just dusty ok he wipes the vents off with his hand and relit the pilot all of this took 4 minutes he said give it 30 minutes water should be hot and it was for 1 hour I go back to clean the kitchen and no hot water I call FAHW again explain what happened they say oh we will do a recall at this point I'm overly frustrated because now yet again my children and I have no hot water clearly what DN plumbing claimed was wrong isn't that they clearly didn't properly diagnose the problem how could they in 5 minutes and now they can't come until tomorrow between 9-1 I'm so disappointed in FAHW and this DN plumbing.
