This company was sent to my home after I contacted my home warranty company about a stoppage in my kitchen sink. The technician arrived on a Saturday and attempted to snake the drain, but the snake got tangled. After he finally got the snake out of the pipe, he said his supervisor would be out Monday morning to "see what the problem was." No one ever showed up or answered any of the 6 phone calls. I guess the supervisor was able to diagnose the problem from his office. On Tuesday, I received an email from the warranty company indicating DN plumbing had diagnosed the plumbing issue as an "improper fitting" which was not covered under the warranty and would cost $3500 to repair. Totally disgusted with the situation I called another plumber who snaked the drain and corrected the problem. I am canceling my contract with AHS because of their involvement with this company. read more

Worse plumbing company. They have bad customer service, never arrive within windows provided and come out unprepared and unwilling to do the work. They opened up my wall and couldn't diagnose the issue & never followed up. On the second even, (due to home warranty company choosing same provider) he comes out and says I need asbestos testing even though this building was built after 1977. He claims the ban for asbestos was 1987, complete waste of time! Funny to open up the wall once, but refuse to open it in an emergency situation. read more

I called First Am and told them I wanted a different provider, but they said they were reassigning DM. I had a four hour window today and they never called and never showed. This company is completely unprofessional and unreliable. They rescheduled on me multiple times, despite me repeatedly telling them I had a strict deadline with my insurance. Communication is almost nonexistent--I could never get a hold of anyone. Isaac came out once to "check it out," but he didn't do anything except waste my entire day. Then he rescheduled in the middle of the day, knowing I had to take time off work for him to come. He assured me he would show up, but of course, he never did. WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had. I normally don't leave reviews but I felt that this was necessary. As a first time home buyer with a pregnant wife we were without gas or hot water for 2 weeks+. We went through our warranty first American who connected us to DN plumbing . We told them our situation (active gas leak and need it repaired so gas company can turn on the gas. DN plumbing then told us they would have a technician come out ASAP. There was a technician they came 2 days later for 5 minutes and told us, "we have to contact the warranty company to get approval and it's a long process because it's with the warranty company. So I contacted the warranty company (first American) and told them the situation and whether they can approve the service. I called them every day for 4 days straight and they kept telling me that the tech from DN plumbing still has not even sent in the work report to be approved. The warranty company tried contacting DN plumbing and kept going straight to voicemail which was the same issue that was happening to me. Long story short, we kept contacting DN plumbing as the warranty company said their is nothing else they can do since they already assigned the plumbing service to us. This went on for 1.5 weeks. We then finally got the plumbing service to pick up and they fed us some more lies and did not end up showing up till 2 weeks later in the late afternoon with no remorse. I wanted to let them hear it but I let it go as I knew I would NEVER deal with them nor recommend them to anyone. Very unprofessional. Stay as far away to this so called company. They came out by way of a home insurance claim, inspected the issue which resulted in a denial in my claim. Which is fine, however when they reinstalled the shower system after testing and inspecting. It's now no longer working properly. Absolutely terrible. We had an issue with one of our toilets and our home warranty people contracted with DN Plumbing to perform the work. The problems started almost immediately once the plumbers did not contact us within 48 hours and only called to set up an appointment once we requested our home warranty service to change providers. To their credit their technician, Isaac, arrived on time. We came to find out that there was a broken flapper and that it was an inexpensive and quick repair - however, as the toilet was pretty old the part wasn't readily available and would need to be ordered. We were told that they would be back out early the following week to finish the job. However, in the report to the home warranty they had stated that there was an issue with the plumbing itself that was beyond the scope of work of the warranty and as a result our claim was denied. We tried over six times in one day to call and try to reach out to get a copy of the report to appeal the denial. However all calls and messages were ignored, there is no email to contact these people and they are impossible to reach. These people never answer their phone or return messages, if it wasn't for home warranty I would have no idea how these people get any business. And if your home warranty people try to book them, try to convince them to pick anyone else. read more

Upon contacting the DN Plumbing manager David, I was told the technician stated he did not drag the unit upstairs and therefore was not responsible for any damage. DN was assigned through Frontdoor Pro/Farmers to install a Moen whole home leak detector. At first I was a bit concerned as DN had to cancel/reschedule a couple times and arrived past the communicated time window. However once the plumber arrived, the work was done efficiently and properly - even with our home having a non-standard shut off valve set up. I would recommend as long as you can be patient if they are a bit slow in getting to you. read more

DN Plumbing is hard to get a hold of via AHS or thru myself. Repairs completed 2/21/23 which was almost a month later. Tech had to open the wall to do the repairs, and I was told to contact my Warranty company to have the wall repaired, which I did on 2/21/23. I was told by AHS that the plumber needs to submit report of size of hole to be repaired so they would know that it was done by the plumber and therefore can send a contractor out......WTF how hard is it to do your job correctly DN plumbing!!! It should not take 3 days to submit a report unless you did and lied. So I'm at a standstill, waiting to put back my cabinets, because David said they needed to be removed to access the pipe. This company is complete and absolute trash. They contract with home warranty companies (First American in this case, who is also trash, but that's beside the point) specifically because they. won't. do. anything. They don't return calls (it took 4 calls and 3 emails to get a response, and even then it was by email), they don't answer the phone, and they're inclined to do as little as possible. After a number of days just trying to get someone to come out, they completely misdiagnosed the problem, and "coded" in a way such that they didn't have to cover it under home warranty. If you get stuck with them because of Frontdoor or home warranty, RAISE HOLY HECK. Seriously. Do NOT get stuck with them. Tell them you want another provider, or tell them you had a bad experience with them before, tell them they kicked your dog...just do WHATEVER you can do to get them off the case (because once they come out and misdiagnose your problem, it'll be on you to pay a diagnostic fee for a second opinion. And, of course, if you actually have a choice in plumbers (i.e. not using a home warranty) RUN FAR FAR AWAY. read more

5 stars for the technician, 2.5 for the dispatch. Got linked up with DN Plumbing through my home warranty (Old Republic). Initially the experience was bad as I had a clogged bathtub, washer and utility sink and could not get a hold of DN for an entire day. The next day I called Old Republic and they were able to get a hold of a dispatcher from DN who scheduled an appointment for later that morning. David from DN showed up at my home 5 minutes before the tracking app said he would and was very friendly. We got straight to business and he was able to power snake my drains from the tub. I asked for some advice and he pointed out some improper plumbing work that was done that may cause further issues down the line. He also gave me some advice for preventative maintenance that should be helpful down the line. All in all he was in and out in less than an hour and was very professional the entire time. It sounds like he has a very good understanding of plumbing systems and venting and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if disaster strikes. read more

DN Plumbing cam to repair a broken drain pipe under the house. The technician went under the house and returned approximately 10 minutes later. He stated that there was nothing wrong with the piping. He showed me several photos. Another plumbing company said that there was a broken pipe with sewage on the dirt. He stated that he could fix it the same or next day for $2800. I'm very glad that DN Plumbing came instead. (The first plumber did not provide any photos of the "broken pipe".) read more

Got assigned these folks from the home warranty company. I called them for an appointment because they failed to call me. The appt they wanted to give me was for the next day. I had my hot water out from Friday until the call on Monday, so I asked if she had anything sooner. She did not, so I told her I was going to call the home warranty company to ask for something sooner. I called and the HWC said stick with this appt. I called DN Plumbing back, no answer. I called all day monday, and texted. Nothing. Then I called all day Tuesday, nothing again. I did state I wanted to keep the 11-3 appt on Tuesday, but nobody came, nobody told me they wouldn't come. I feel like she avoided my call so I would have to wait extra days (3, because wednesday is new years), She is purposefully hurting my family!!! They were assigned through my home warranty company for a leak inside my wall. They initially came out but were unable to diagnose until remediation was done in case of mold. Once that was completed, they were able to immediately come back out. Isaac showed up on time & was very friendly & professional. He was able to diagnose the problem right away & had everything on hand to immediately replace the portion of the pipe with the leak. They were assigned to me through First American Home warranty. They never called me, after a week I finally got a text with an appointment window, their tech showed up and was at our home for 5 minutes and said he needed to order a part that would arrive in a couple of days. They then sent a report to First American stating there is no issue...which is absolutely not correct.
