Pricey but really good coffee and matchas. The cafe itself is really serene with the decor and the tree in the middle. My husband and I came here on July 3rd and I got the seasonal coconut cream matcha and my husband got the sea salt latte. Both were really well made. There was a subtle toasted coconut taste to the matcha latte which wasn't too sweet and the matcha tasted smooth and not too grassy. Drinks are a bit pricey, around $7 each but it's high quality. There's one bathroom at this location and it was very modern looking, spacious and clean.
I love DO Coffee! The interior is really beautiful -- the kind of place you want to just sit and stay a while. Dark wood interior bringing in this type of sophisticated elegance that is different from typical cafes where it is brighter and lighter. Great for hanging out, studying, or getting some work done. Ordered the matcha vanilla einspanner and it's one of my favorite matcha einspanners that I've had. High quality matcha, perfect sweetness -- nothing about it felt off. Already craving it again. Staff was super nice too. Just an all around great spot!
DO Coffee is a must DO in Brea! What a cute coffee shop to relax in on a Saturday for some "me" time. Love the clean and modern vibe here! This will definitely be my regular check in spot. I accidentally spilled a bit of coffee (completely embarrassing and something my 9 year old would typically do, I know), but the staff were so nice and forgiving. I ordered their Sesame Do (iced with whole milk) and a warmed Butter Croissant - both tasted great. Love DO Coffee!
Really good matcha! I tried the matcha vanilla einspanner and it was really good. The matcha flavor was bold, which i liked. The vanilla flavor was a really nice touch to the drink. The sweetness from the vanilla paired well with the more bitter flavors from the matcha. The ratio between milk, matcha, and sugar was just right for me. Service was good. The ambience has a more relaxed, intimate feel to it with its warmer lighting.
My friend who lived in the area recommended a coffee place that they really enjoyed but didn't realize today was a Sunday... so we pivoted to DO Coffee which was perfect. It's located next to OMOMO Tea Shoppe in a small plaza with Fogo de Chao on South State College Blvd in Brea. Parking here is a nightmare. It's almost impossible to find a parking stall during the weekends as there are many food and drink establishments in the area. Recommend going early to score a stall during the weekends. I ordered their Guava Cold Foam with half sweetness, and my boyfriend ordered their Sesame DO. The Guava Cold Foam with guava puree was a unique and enjoyable combination with the cold brew, but I found the cold brew a bit sour for my taste. I'm personally not a fan of sour cold brews. The sesame latte, as the worker also stated, was very light and creamy. I was kind of hesitant to order it because I personally enjoy very strong coffees with the sesame nuttiness. My boyfriend enjoyed this drink more than my drink. This was a cute coffee shop with a beautiful interior, making it a great place to work. Their coffee selections were quite unique with a beautiful presentation.
What a beautiful shop! There is a beautiful tree at the center of the sitting area and the ambiance is perfect for a quick coffee grab. There aren't really tables for you to sit and study or do work. I love their pour over offerings and they have all the specialty drinks you could ever ask for. Come and grab a beautiful cup of pour over coffee!
Yummmmm!!! This place is in a center shared with Fogo de Chao and In and Out so the parking is impossible but might be worth the hassle to visit this coffee shop. The girl at the counter was super nice and was helpful in selecting my drink. She knew I liked a nutty and creamy latte and recommended the season drink Sesame Do. I ordered it with my fave oat milk. It was perfection in a cup. I loved the sesame cold foam. It was such a unique drink option and I'm so glad to have tried it. The aesthetic at the place was super nice. Very chill vibes. I wish I had more time to just sit and enjoy my drink. I also wish I got an extra drink for later. So yum!! Will definitely be back for more.
It's my first time coming to this coffee shop, decided to go with the sea salt toffee which sounded delicious. I decided to add an extra shot since most of the time drinks are too sweet for me. When I tried it, it had absolutely no flavor not sure if they even added the syrup to it. I went back to double check and they told me it probably didn't taste like anything because I added a shot. Not sure how that would change a drink to taste like nothing, just bitter shots of espresso. I don't see myself coming back . The ambience its self is really nice but that's about it.
Had some time to kill before meeting the ladies. Decided to get them some drinks and a snack! This place has been on my bookmark for a while and finally was in the area to check it out. Inside is very moody with minimal decorations but I love that. Huge tree in the front with seats that remind me of college surrounding it. Some more seating on the wall and deep inside the store. Got a Duo Matcha and it was good. The foam wasn't too thin but not too thick. Light in flavor. Vanilla Einspanner- it was also mid, had better. Not too strong. Not too flavorful. Spinach croissant- pretty and crispy but decent Nice spot to check out if you're in the area. Lots of parking. Service was nice. Drinks came out quickly. Overall decent
My first impression was that the aesthetics are done to a T. The seating at the entrance is very creative with it surrounding a tree. There's also some cushioned seats along the walls with very tiny tables just enough to hold your drinks. We visited this past weekend during their one-year anniversary, so there was a DJ inside and we were able to choose between a canelé or a slice of cake to celebrate the occasion. We opted for the cake slice which was just okay. I find it very odd that the double matcha is $7.50 because you could order the matcha latte (for $6) and matcha cold foam (for $1) for a total of $7, which I tried, but the cashier still charged me for the duo matcha. I wasn't about to complain about 50 cents but the math was not math-ing. Regardless, I noticed that they whisk the matcha now, upon reading reviews that they used to use a pre-made mix. Although it's ceremonial, it doesn't taste that high-quality because I think they use some sort of vanilla syrup that masks the flavor of the matcha. I did like the matcha cold foam, though. As for coffee, the sesame do was delicious. I loved the black sesame cold foam and it complemented the coffee without making it too sweet.
Great place to catch afternoon coffee! I came here with coworkers after we ate lunch. It's an unassuming coffee shop from the outside, with a simple, clean design inside. The majority of their decorations were coffee cups on shelves. I ordered an iced decaffeinated latte with oat milk. My drink was good, even the decaffeinated coffee has a rich, bold flavor. There is a lot of seating throughout. Individual seats and tables along the front window, side wall, around the planter; seats in front of the counter; and a metal table with chairs in the back. This is where my group decided to sit and enjoy our coffees and tea. Great atmosphere for groups. The staff are patient and friendly. There was only one menu at the counter, from what I could see. They also sell pastries. Parking is free, and shared. It's right around the corner from In and Out Burger, so the line of cars will overflow during lunch.
I tried the Cambridge Latte and it was AMAZING. The cold foam was very rich and creamy. I was afraid that the drink was going to be sweet, but it was perfect. The interior inside is really nice and I think it's very spacious! Hands down one of the best cafes within the area, I will definitely go back.

The service the young man gave was great he was working alone and he had great energy and great customer service. It's 8:32 am we went in the pastries fresh and warm. The Ambiance was great beautiful area and nice people we love the area have an amazing day thank you so much my son loved the lemon blueberry scone a lot! read more

This place has great coffee. I think a great sign of a place is how they pull a shot, what the drip is like, and if they can make a proper cortado and they knocked it out the park. For people who reduced the stars because of parking issues form the innout, How is that the businesses fault? lol I wish "elite yelpers" would think about how they review a place effects people's livelihoods. It's a problem on this app especially in this economy. There are real people behind these business. Customer service was fine. Not exemplary, but sweet and they get to work and pull great coffee so training is on point. I do understand some reviews, where employees pulled out their phone. But nobody was here except us so not an issue and they made the coffee first before so it's all good. Pastry's were tasty. Pour over selection was awesome, decor is 10/10. If we're talking about coffee anything below a 4 star is crazy work. I didn't get any of their specialty or sweet drinks but they looked good. read more
I needed a pick me up this morning after a so-so breakfast. DO coffee was in the parking lot I was in and we decided to give it a try. Thank goodness for this barista, she was so kind when I talked to her about my preferences. I am used to chain coffee shops and prefer something a bit sweeter/less bitter. She recommended either the vanilla or Spanish latte. I ended up getting the Spanish latte iced with oat milk and vanilla cold foam on top. This coffee looked so beautiful and tasted like perfection. I cannot believe I have been driving by this place and missing out. We also got the cinnamon pull apart bread. It had cooled down a bit so it was as easy to pull but the flavor was still there and soft. read more

Welcome to the city of Brea, DO Coffee. All of us coffee lovers welcome you with a smile and open arms. Finally I had the chance to stop by as I was invited to brunch next door, and as soon as you walk in, you are welcome with a huge TREE in the middle of the room. Of course, the tree possibly is artificial but it gives the BEAUTIFUL aesthetic to the place. I loved that. Because its a busy Saturday morning, the line when I got there was OUT THE DOOR. I had to wait at least 20 minutes to get to the register and place my order. Today I picked a 'Sea Salt Toffee Latte' with a 'Bacon Scone'. First the coffee: I'm a huge latte fan, and even though you could actually feel the toffee, I was expecting it to be a liiiiiitle bit stronger. In my case it was faint. One thing I could suggest if you chose to order this, ask for a shot of espresso to give it a bit of a kick. I give it 3.5 / 5 stars. Second the scone: Flavorwise, it was pretty bomb. I had only ever eaten something remotely similar in San Juan Capistrano at a little cafe once, and this actually was better. HOWEVER, I want to assume that because of how busy it was and the fact there was only ONE mini oven to heat it, I had asked for it warmed, and even tho it felt a tiny bit on the outside, the inside was COLD. No bueno. I ate it cause again, the flavor was spot on, but it really needs to be heated so it can be even MORE flavorful. Suggestion to the business: get yourselfs at least 2 more ovens. The pastries looked SOOO GOOD and in cold days, people will most likely asked for a warmed up crossaint. I gave this 3 /5 stars. That really brought the overall score to 3 stars, BUT, in reality this place has so much room to grow and get to a wider audience, I am sure the next time I stop by it will reach 5 stars in my score read more
The seating in this coffee shop is nice for casual one on one meetups but not great for anything else. There's one community table in the back with a few wall outlets. And their hours make it hard to work from this cafe even if you do find a spot. I got a sea salt toffee latte. It came out in a reasonable amount of time. But the coffee itself was bitter and the latte wasn't very tasty. And for the price and size I can say it wasn't worth it. Maybe this cafe is still in the process of getting its act together because it's new. But as of now I can't recommend it and won't be back in the near future. read more
I always want to make sure I give everything a good try, so my friends and I decided to give DO coffee a very good shot. This place is located next to an in and out and an omomo so there's many good options to pick within the same plaza. However this also means that parking can be an absolute pain sometimes so be sure you are ready to fight for some parking . In terms of the drinks I would say it's pretty good but nothing absolutely mind blowing. However the portion of the drinks are extremely small compared to other places, and I wished the taste would have made up for that lack of volume. The vanilla cream latte was pretty good once you start mixing everything together, the vanilla cream itself was especially good. But once again I wished there was just more of it for the price of ~6 dollars. The servers are extremely nice and welcoming which made it easy to figure out what we wanted in terms of drinks. However if you are looking to sit down with a group of people, the seating at the front doesn't really accommodate for groups bigger than 3. I think you could probably do a solo study day here, but if you are looking to sit down with a group it's going to be a bit hard read more

I like coming to Do Coffee! They have really good matcha & chocolate drinks, but I do finish the drinks quickly because of the small cup sizes. You might call them average sized cups, but when you've had Taty's, Vivot, or Airoma Cafe, you start wanting a larger size. read more
Camellia latte: Tastes like lavender and when mixed it just tastes like coffee. 3/5 Guava cold foam: This was actually pretty good! Very unique combo and the guava foam is delicious. It's a bit sweet but I don't mind it! 4/5 Berry danish: Custard didn't taste like anything and was crumbly. The bread was dry and the fruits were dry. 1/5 read more

we got a hot caramel latte & an iced cambridge latte; both were QUALITY. the caramel wasn't overpowering, just added a nice toffee-like flavor. the cambridge was a blend of coffee & tea, but definitely leaned more on the tea side. usually tea-coffee drinks are a bit watered down, but this was strong & smooth. not too sweet! the ambiance & decor were definitely unique. the latte art was amazing & the baristas are really talented! not sure why there are so many poor reviews of this place. most of them seem to come from the soft opening phase. we finally tried this place & will definitely be back! read more

What I ordered: - Yuzu cold drip - Ham & gruyère croissant Yuzu cold drip had prominent yuzu flavor which might be too overbearing for some people. The yuzu does not taste syrupy. The cold drip coffee itself is smooth with minimal acidity and it still shines through the strong yuzu flavor at times. I wish the yuzu flavor was just slightly toned down. A refreshing, light drink that I recommend! Ham & gruyère croissant was very flaky with a slightly fluffy interior. The gruyère was melted throughout. As a whole, it did not taste overly salty. A solid breakfast option if on the go! read more
This cafe is busy during its soft opening, and parking can be tough in the crowded plaza, especially at peak times. I tried the matcha latte, which was a bit grainy with a dull color. The flavor was too mild for me. The guava cold foam is unique and didn't taste artificial but didn't pair well with the matcha. The cashier explained my drink was $7, not $6.75, due to a menu error--slightly confusing but not a big issue. The chocolate chip cookie was mid but large. Tbh reminded me of a softer Chips Ahoy. Other pastries looked promising. The interior is modern and dim, creating a nice atmosphere. However, the seating and small tables aren't ideal for studying- best for a quick date or catch-up. There's only one long communal table for groups. Overall, the cafe has a great vibe, but neither the matcha nor coffee were good. The cup sizes are small for the price, and unfortunately flavor didn't quite make up for it. Will prob only try a pastry next time. read more

First time here, it was a splendid experience. Baristas were both young and knowledgeable. They suggested the black sesame latte for me and it was just delish! I added oat milk and opted for half sweet. Coffee had a great roast taste and black sesame was unique. Inside was clean and sleek. They are located right by the mall which was perfect to pick up before heading to mall. There are a few coffee shops right next door but DO Coffee is a great choice. read more

Good matcha flavor without being too sweet. Pricing was also reasonable for the quantity. The shop itself is very aesthetically pleasing with earthy and neutral tones, but the seating situation is a bit ambiguous. The front area isn't the most comfortable, and there's only one table in the back, so finding a spot to sit can be tricky. It was pretty busy when I visited, so I imagine it fills up fast. Also, there's no visible menu except at the register. Not sure if this was change, since soft openings was a few weeks ago, but it might be it's hard to know what's available before getting to the counter. read more

I love the ambiance inside, a good amount of space for seats in this coffee shop. Not typical seating but a good amount of bench seating. I saw a good amount of reviews on pricing and how small the drinks are but I don't agree with those comments. I personally think the amount is the perfect amount of coffee or match because I can never finish all of my drink. I also thought the price is actually cheaper then LA prices which I am use to. My match einsplanner was pretty good and my partner had a latte and it was pretty good too. I would come back. Parking can be alittle hard towards the middle of the day. read more

Super duper cute lil coffee shop right next to Omomo! Visited during their soft opening! The interior is super clean, cute, and cozy with a couple of tables in the back and some individual seating in the front. I didn't check for wifi, but I saw a few people working here and others chatting with friends. Ordered the Sea Salt Toffee Latte for myself and the Vanilla Einspanner Americano for a friend! Can definitely taste hints of salt and toffee in the latte, but honestly - for me at least - it's not much to write home about. I do hold out hope, though, since this is just a soft opening! The flavor profiles of their drinks have a solid foundation, so they can only get better from here! Can't wait to try this spot again down the line! read more

Matcha vanilla einspanner latte (w/ oat milk) was 7/10, I felt like it was your typical matcha latte. Maybe it would've been better if you added guava or strawberry foam! Sea salt toffee latte (w/ oat milk) was 7.5/10, also your simple coffee, nothing super special. Ham and cheese croissant was also pretty good, 8/10! Workers are nice. The aesthetic was the best and really caught my eye! The brown setting is very appealing. It's also a good place to sit down and have a nice drink to catch up with some friends! I would probably return and give it another try if I'm in the area. read more

I recently visited DO Coffee in Brea, and I'm so glad I did! Their vanilla latte is absolutely amazing, perfectly balanced with smooth espresso, creamy milk, and just the right amount of vanilla sweetness. It's one of the best lattes I've had in a while! The baristas were also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making me feel welcome the moment I walked in. Their service is top-notch, and they took the time to recommend a few other drinks for next time, which was much appreciated. The ambiance of DO Coffee is another standout. The space is cozy yet modern, with plenty of natural light and a relaxed vibe. It's the ideal place to unwind, meet up with friends, or get some work done. Overall, DO Coffee offers a great experience all around and fantastic coffee, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back! read more

This place has a cool vibe inside! From the look to the music! It wasn't busy for a Wednesday morning so we ordered right away! We got 3 drinks and 1 pastry Sea Salt Toffee Latte: 4/5 Vanilla Einspanner Americano 5/5 Strawberry Cold Foam 4/5 The sea salt toffee latte was good but flavor wise it didn't have a strong taste. Couldn't even taste the Sea Salt. The Vanilla Einspanner Americano was very yummy! The foam was thick and super yummy! The coffee itself tasted great! The strawberry cold foam reminded me of strawberry nesquick. The drink itself was okay I wasn't a big fan. The service was great super friendly and helpful! For seating they have a good section for seating but if you come with a group it wouldn't be that great because seating is not like face to face seating. It's more of like sitting next to each other. read more

Awesome first time experience. Flat whites were made perfectly. The ambiance on the inside is really cool and cozy. Beautiful La Marzocco as well. Highly recommend if you enjoy good/real coffee. Hard to believe people really go to the crappy chains (Starbucks, Philz, Coffeebean, etc) when places like these are right down the road. read more

Such a beautiful cafe with great drinks! The interior looked brand new and stunning. There was a little bit of a line but went by fast. First time here, and I tried their seasonal cambridge latte! It's a combination of espresso and black tea with condensed milk and topped with a sweet cream. The tea is more on the floral side, but I still enjoyed it! Alternative milk options are FREE, so I switched to oat. :) Love the ambience of the shop with plenty of seats. Will be coming back to try other drinks! read more
Coffee Snobs vs Coffee Fan I define snob as a true coffee connoisseur who drinks coffee black to enjoy the true essence and depth of on flavor of the coffee bean roast. Fan which is me who wants my coffee drink mostly sweet, less bitter, creamy and it needs to look pretty in front of a cute area of the coffee shop. If the drink has layers and toppings, makes me excited. I loved my $7 toffee latte with a guava cream top. It was beautiful! What I didn't like was buying a pour over for a coffee snob friend and to foreshadow she wouldn't like it at first sip. Do Coffee can train their employees better by educating them better about the beans and origin. For the cashier to say, you must get the $11 pour over the most expensive without any reason left me ehh. I told her I can only afford to buy my friend one of their 3 $9 pour over options. She kept giving me the next expensive $10 option. I mean come on. The misstep is having a trainee make a pricey pour over. Pour overs is an art and reflection of the roast. If disrespecting everyone. Ahh gave me bad vibes when I saw the trainee who has never done a pour over do one. If you were going to train anyone, it shouldn't be on a customer's pour over because you can gonna get crap from people like me. You have the staff and trainee drink the pour over of the trainee. Don't experiment with my money. Poor training and simply get a sweet latte to cover up any high expectations. read more
