The interior of this place is gorgeous and elevated! The drinks on the other hand were ok. I got their matcha latte and noticed that their matcha was from a squeeze bottle that was prepped prior. Thank goodness for this barista, she was so kind when I talked to her about my preferences. I am used to chain coffee shops and prefer something a bit sweeter/less bitter. She recommended either the vanilla or Spanish latte. I ended up getting the Spanish latte iced with oat milk and vanilla cold foam on top. This coffee looked so beautiful and tasted like perfection. I cannot believe I have been driving by this place and missing out. We also got the cinnamon pull apart bread. This place is aight. Not surprised with the low rating tbh. I usually go to Still coffee for my coffee when I don't feel like drinking office coffee and wanted to try this place out. Never coming back. Service sucks, the girl in the front seems like she hates her job (11/5 morning). Ordered vanilla cream americano and croissant and while I was waiting for my coffee, my croissant wasn't taken care of cause she's chatting away with her friend who came in. When I received my coffee, she said 2 minutes to heat up my croissant.. like where's the time management??? Should have taken care of that right when I ordered and I have to wait another 2 minutes, I said no, grabbed the croissant and left. I even tipped them, lemme get my damn dollar back, smh. Bad service man. Such a shame cause the shop looks great and aesthetic. Coffee is also just alright, croissant was good tho after I heated it up myself. Take your money elsewhere, go to Still coffee. First the coffee: I'm a huge latte fan, and even though you could actually feel the toffee, I was expecting it to be a liiiiiitle bit stronger. In my case it was faint. One thing I could suggest if you chose to order this, ask for a shot of espresso to give it a bit of a kick. I give it 3.5 / 5 stars. Second the scone: Flavorwise, it was pretty bomb. I had only ever eaten something remotely similar in San Juan Capistrano at a little cafe once, and this actually was better. HOWEVER, I want to assume that because of how busy it was and the fact there was only ONE mini oven to heat it, I had asked for it warmed, and even tho it felt a tiny bit on the outside, the inside was COLD. No bueno. I ate it cause again, the flavor was spot on, but it really needs to be heated so it can be even MORE flavorful. Suggestion to the business: get yourselfs at least 2 more ovens. The pastries looked SOOO GOOD and in cold days, people will most likely asked for a warmed up crossaint. I gave this 3 /5 stars. That really brought the overall score to 3 stars, BUT, in reality this place has so much room to grow and get to a wider audience, I am sure the next time I stop by it will reach 5 stars in my score read more

The seating in this coffee shop is nice for casual one on one meetups but not great for anything else. There's one community table in the back with a few wall outlets. And their hours make it hard to work from this cafe even if you do find a spot. I got a sea salt toffee latte. It came out in a reasonable amount of time. But the coffee itself was bitter and the latte wasn't very tasty. And for the price and size I can say it wasn't worth it. Maybe this cafe is still in the process of getting its act together because it's new. But as of now I can't recommend it and won't be back in the near future. read more

I always want to make sure I give everything a good try, so my friends and I decided to give DO coffee a very good shot. This place is located next to an in and out and an omomo so there's many good options to pick within the same plaza. However this also means that parking can be an absolute pain sometimes so be sure you are ready to fight for some parking . In terms of the drinks I would say it's pretty good but nothing absolutely mind blowing. However the portion of the drinks are extremely small compared to other places, and I wished the taste would have made up for that lack of volume. The vanilla cream latte was pretty good once you start mixing everything together, the vanilla cream itself was especially good. But once again I wished there was just more of it for the price of ~6 dollars. The servers are extremely nice and welcoming which made it easy to figure out what we wanted in terms of drinks. However if you are looking to sit down with a group of people, the seating at the front doesn't really accommodate for groups bigger than 3. I think you could probably do a solo study day here, but if you are looking to sit down with a group it's going to be a bit hard read more

The cold drip coffee itself is smooth with minimal acidity and it still shines through the strong yuzu flavor at times. I wish the yuzu flavor was just slightly toned down. A refreshing, light drink that I recommend! Ham & gruyère croissant was very flaky with a slightly fluffy interior. The gruyère was melted throughout. As a whole, it did not taste overly salty. This cafe is busy during its soft opening, and parking can be tough in the crowded plaza, especially at peak times. I tried the matcha latte, which was a bit grainy with a dull color. The flavor was too mild for me. The guava cold foam is unique and didn't taste artificial but didn't pair well with the matcha. The cashier explained my drink was $7, not $6.75, due to a menu error--slightly confusing but not a big issue. The chocolate chip cookie was mid but large. Tbh reminded me of a softer Chips Ahoy. Other pastries looked promising. The interior is modern and dim, creating a nice atmosphere. However, the seating and small tables aren't ideal for studying- best for a quick date or catch-up. There's only one long communal table for groups. Overall, the cafe has a great vibe, but neither the matcha nor coffee were good. The interior is super clean, cute, and cozy with a couple of tables in the back and some individual seating in the front. I didn't check for wifi, but I saw a few people working here and others chatting with friends. Ordered the Sea Salt Toffee Latte for myself and the Vanilla Einspanner Americano for a friend! Can definitely taste hints of salt and toffee in the latte, but honestly - for me at least - it's not much to write home about. I do hold out hope, though, since this is just a soft opening! What I didn't like was buying a pour over for a coffee snob friend and to foreshadow she wouldn't like it at first sip. Do Coffee can train their employees better by educating them better about the beans and origin. For the cashier to say, you must get the $11 pour over the most expensive without any reason left me ehh. I told her I can only afford to buy my friend one of their 3 $9 pour over options. She kept giving me the next expensive $10 option. I mean come on. The misstep is having a trainee make a pricey pour over. Pour overs is an art and reflection of the roast. If disrespecting everyone. Ahh gave me bad vibes when I saw the trainee who has never done a pour over do one. If you were going to train anyone, it shouldn't be on a customer's pour over because you can gonna get crap from people like me. You have the staff and trainee drink the pour over of the trainee. The bad: The drink I ordered for $7.00 (w / tax) was about 3 sips of coffee. I've never had a drink anywhere that offered so little value for the price paid. Good deal for them - not so good for me. Also, they don't take cash which is a dangerous and bad idea. They are just making it easier for the government to move to a digital currency which will be a disaster. I've been quite hesitant to try DO Coffee this early on during its soft opening due to the mixed reviews but as a fellow Yelp Elite member, my duty calls and trying new businesses is my top priority. Here's what I ordered: **Iced Americano: My americano was quite sour and very light. Tasted very watered down with a sour note. (1/5) **Yuzu Cold Drip: As a yuzu lover, I understand that the flavor itself is very overpowering but I couldn't taste cold drip at all. The yuzu portion was delicious but it almost felt like I was consuming a dessert. Definitely a plus for not having an artificial yuzu flavor but overall very confusing since it's advertised as a coffee beverage. (2/5) The prices are quite average versus its competitors but the size is extremely small. The size of the cups look small in pictures but they're even smaller in person. The interior seating area also looks quite spacious in the pictures but it's actually quite small. There's barely any room to walk with the amount of people waiting inside. I went on a random weekday at 9:05 AM and there was already a line with four or five orders ahead of me. Service was good but nothing out of the ordinary that stood out. The parking situation is the worst part, as they're in a newly renovated strip mall with Fogo De Chao, In-N-Out, Omomo, Popping Yolk, Still Coffee, and others. There's a few 15 minute parking spots available in front of the shop but unless you come during an off-hour, you'll be waiting for a significantly longer time. If you enjoy paying a ridiculous amount for a small, subpar drink, then DO Coffee is for you. I cannot recommend this spot to anyone during this opening phase or ever, even. I highly recommend Still Coffee & Treats next door if you want delicious drinks made with love for a more affordable price. read more
