Subject: Very disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism I hired this company to replace a leaking outdoor faucet. When their technician visited, he recommended installing a pressure regulator because of high water pressure and suggested replacing the old T-zone as well. I agreed to pay $1,100 for the entire job. Before the scheduled work, I sent a clear email detailing that I wanted the T-zone replaced and the water pressure regulator installed above it, along with a few other requests. I was at work during the appointment, and my husband was home. To my disappointment, a different technician showed up, did not bother to check my email, and ignored the request to replace the old T-zone, claiming he was only there to do what was initially mentioned. Despite paying the full $1,100, the main issue (replacing the old T-zone) was not resolved. I have filed multiple complaints, but the company has been unresponsive and unhelpful, offering only a minimal $75 refund and a sewer camera test which I did not need. They promised a manager would call me back, but I have heard nothing. I strongly advise others to be careful when dealing with this company, as they do not follow instructions and fail to take responsibility for their work. read more

This place is run by total crooks. So beware if you hire them, as I will explain below. My 90 year old grandmother had them come to replace our kitchen faucet. It's a very quick job that takes less than 30 minutes. They charged her almost $900 to do this. Not only that, but they installed it incorrectly, so it had to be redone. Oh, but there is more... The tech showed up to do the sink. He spent a little over 2 hours here. In that time, he went around looking at our plumbing to try & get more work. Mind you, we have cameras all around our home & inside the house, so this was all recorded. We didn't ask for any estimates other than changing a garage filter in our garage. After almost two hours, he spent the last 20 minutes replacing the sink faucet. He didn't tighten it fully, leaving it loose. He also took the special tightening tool with him so we couldn't fix it. Thankfully we had a spare from previous sinks, so I had to fix his work. We asked him to change a garage house water filter while he was here. This is seriously a ten minute job. Turn off the water valve that's on the filter, unscrew it, put the filter in, screw it back in, turn the valve back on. That's it. He quoted us $700!!! I ended up changing it myself after work in pajamas & my house slippers in less than ten minutes. Absolute thievery. The worst part is he looked over the filter system, told us it was done wrong, said the valves were no good, & offered to quote us to fix it. Guess who installed this faulty equipment? THEY DID, & I had complained at the time that the valves were faulty. They told me they weren't. Over $7,000 to have this system installed a little over a year ago. I finally see the bill of almost $900 to install the sink faucet, so we email them for an itemized statement to see what the charges were. THEY REFUSED, claiming the job is billed as one unit. I thought the guy wasted two hours to claim the labor fee, but they said that's what they charge to install a sink faucet. That's highway robbery. Other companies quoted us less than half that price. We tried calling them to sort it out, but they never returned our calls. So I'm leaving this review as a warning to anyone considering hiring Do It Right Plumbers. Don't do it. They're total crooks. Reading other reviews here, this seems to be a clear pattern of behavior. read more

Replaced a toilet in our home and left a bunch of caulking on the floor from the installation. After trying to contact them for weeks and sending multiple emails, they finally responded and told me to call them. When I called, I got an AI system that was frustrating to deal with and wasted a ton of time. When I finally got a response from them, they said they would remove the residual caulking but would probably damage the flooring in the process and they wouldn't be responsible for any damage to the floor. When I asked them to please send someone who could remove the caulking without damaging the flooring, they said that wasn't possible. The cost of the repair was high based on averages online. Had a great experience with Joe O. for our tankless water flush maintenance. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he answered all the different questions we had during our visit and even provided us different solutions to try. I had a not so great experience with another company, from not having the proper equipment and cancelling our appointment several times. In comparison, Do It Right sent out someone same day. Christian was great to deal with BUT whatever you do DO NOT take his recommendation for a Restopro Restoration We did and they basically destroyed our house and a whole year of our life was lost. Originally we had a small leak. Moisture in 4 bedrooms but Kevin Gomez from Restopro took the whole situation over and blew this minor situation way out of control. The end result was us moving to a hotel for 8 months! They never finished the work because the quality was so poor we fired them. But the damage was done. Their bid for a high-end Rinnai TWH unit was significantly better than all others, including Home Depot, who offers to link you with local contractors, but does not guarantee who will service you for future problems. Not only were the installation technicians excellent, but their supervisor Fernando provided superior troubleshooting skills while fine-tuning our equipment to our complete satisfaction. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE. This place will scam you! They charged $300 to unclog a sink drain. No special anything was done. I asked for proof of additional work that they claim they did, nothing. (Well they supplied a picture of the cabinet under the kitchen sink) In comparison, I got a water heater replaced for $300 through one plumber, a corroded ball valve replaced for less than $150 by another. Both of these included PARTS and labor. Typical unclogging is about $75-100 by most other plumbers. Normally I would say, if you have the money to throw away, I guess it doesn't matter, they did fix the issue, but these guys are so scam my, please don't support them. read more

Needed a fill valve replaced in my toilet so I gave "Do it Right Plumbers" a call and requested a quote. They sent over a technician and he quoted me at $321 dollars to do the job. It takes about 15 minutes to replace the valve. A fill valve at the Home Depot cost around 25 bucks. So I guess they are charging 296 dollars for 15 min of labor. It should be a crime to charge this much for something so simple. I feel that this business is trying to take advantage of people not really knowing anything about plumbing. If you can I would shop around and use a different business. Made an automated appointment on Thursday evening for a drain clearance on my kitchen sink. Dispatch called Friday morning to set up appointment so I called work to be home for the appointment. The service window was set for 10am to 2pm. Waited all day without notice. At 4:39pm received a call that the tech was not going to make it and would have to reschedule for a Monday appointment. Unacceptable. Used them in the past from Angi and had a good experience. Not this time. While they apologized, the apology seemed unsympathetic and more "it is what it is". The response the first time was eager and competitive. I guess regular customer service are not the treated the same way. Just call Angi each time a service is needed. I contacted them to come out and clear a kitchen drain. They sent a very nice tech out. He ran water into the sink, verified that it was clogged. We walked outside where we located the clean out valve, on the side of the house and easily accessible. He then looked me in the eye and quoted $450 to clear the clog. I explained that I didn't want hydrojetting and he said no, that was the price to snake the drain. I was so upset because I know this is an outrageous cost. I guess they hope that people are desperate to get it working and once they are there they will just say yes? I said no, and I was so so visibly upset, that he waived the $49 inspection fee that made me agree to having them come out in the first place. I went to my neighbor who recommended a different company who came out and cleared the drain the next day in 15 minutes for $93. I will now use the new company for any additional plumbing needs. I'm so surprised that Do It Right Plumbers doesn't understand this. It's so shortsighted to set a price that is over 4X the average. And yes I say average because I then went onto our city FB page and found numerous recommendations for drain clearing by plumbers and they ranged from $89-$125. read more

My real estate agent called to get someone out to get a quote on some potential repairs at a house I have in escrow. I also requested a sewer line scope to check on that as well, with the understanding that service has a cost, since they were sending someone else anyway, might as well get it done. The sewer line scope plus 1/4 other things I asked about we got some response on. Got some nice pictures of the sewer line for the quoted price, an explanation about the 3 services they provide for the sewer line maintenance. Also they noted the kitchen sink area's issue was the reverse osmosis tank. Technician couldnt tell me much about the other 3 things I asked about when I was on the phone with him to pay the 400+ dollars for the scope. Apparently there was a second tech working on that. He promised these details would be in the upcoming written report. Fine. What was not fine was we didn't actually get the repair quote for any of the 4 repairs I asked about, or any observations about 3 of the repairs I asked about. This is a pretty important part of the escrow process where I'm trying to decide if the repairs are dealbreakers for the house purchase. The company just told my agent it's not part of the work order so if I really want to know I can call them up myself for details because they don't have time to write it up. Literally that was the primary reason we asked them to come, so I could have a quote to show the sellers in the escrow process, and they just ignored that part and just tried to sell me the sewer clean out. So now I gotta either decide if I'm going to eat the cost myself for the potential repairs, try to find another plumber to actually give me an estimate, or not buy the house. If I as a customer have to chase them for something they promised me, why would I pay them any more money? read more

SCAM ALERT !! So these guy came out to do a basic mainline clean out. The wife was home and a little upset about the situation and just wanted it fixed . The Tech that came out was "BO" . Well he took advantage of the situation and called in for the "hydro jetter" because he could not clear the line. Clearly he's not a Plumber because the other company we called put the snake in 6 feet and cleared the line. He was gone within 15 mins.
