Not impressed. Just salad with toppings. I arrived around 1 PM which I perceive must be a busy time for them because the line was at the door. I was impressed at how quickly they moved the line. After checking out the menu I decided to order a chopped salad with meat. For a chopped salad the lettuce pieces were too large and the dressing should coat the lettuce more. Also the chicken chunks were too big and drenched in the buffalo sauce which made it overpowering. I got a chopped salad with grilled buffalo chicken, black beans, cheese, red onions and balsamic dressing. I also called myself ordering an Açaí Bowl To-Go. I wasn't rushing but the girl making the bowl was extremely slow. It took her 20 minutes to make my Bowl and it was only my order that she was making. Also, the bowl was very running. More like a smoothie in a To Go bowl, it should have been thick and smooth, but not watery and bland, also for the price, you should get more granola and fruit. Even after the wait (which she apologized for because she realized she had taken forever) she charged $.075 extra for honey on the top, but it was worth it because the rest of the bowl had no sweetness to it. Açaí bowls shouldn't be very sweet but the strawberries and bananas should add a level of natural sweetness. In short, I'm not going to say you shouldn't go here but don't go and expect to be blown away and if you get an Açaí Bowl don't expect it to be like others you've had. It will be more of a running smoothie. As for salads. If you are trying to eat healthy or just want a salad there isn't anything special on the menu but they seem to have fresh ingredients and you'll definitely be able to get a salad with all the trimmings. read more

this used to be one of my favorite places to hangout, but the past couple of times i've visited, the music is quite literally blasting with the addition of the cashier in the açai section always talking on the phone or watching videos at a very loud volume -- it's just not a relaxing or quiet environment anymore. food still 10/10 for what it is, but ill probably find a new spot to do homework and chill! read more

My food was nowhere up to par. I ordered a portobello mushroom panini without mozzarella. It looked like it was made with mozzarella and the cheese was pulled off. I read the Yelp reviews, double-checked the location on Google Maps, and within five minutes I was parked outside of this location. The interior is pretty expansive, with a wide open kitchen in back, I presume for additional prep. Upon standing in line you are greeted with menus allowing you to choose a pre-selected salad or panini or to build your own. I opted with the latter and was afforded the option of a protein and 5 sides, in addition to the lettuce type. The protein (I chose chicken and was pleased with the result) is added in after the lettuce, sides, and dressing are mixed together. Coupled with a drink I paid a little over $11. Overall, the salads taste fresh and the interior is inviting. Would definitely enjoy coming here on a warmer day to take advantage of the outdoor seating. Now, my big gripe comes from the fact that to have your salad chopped, it would cost an additional $1. To chop a salad, Doc Green's Gourmet Salads & Sandwich Bar would like a dollar. To chop the salad they just made you. Literally, to slice and dice it with a knife....I opted out of this service but was not pleased by this addition. read more

Do not come here for an Açaí bowl.... they used to be extremely fresh and delicious from the Brazilian spot inside, BUT no longer. This is my fifth time coming here for one and when she gave me my bowl, the granola and almonds were soooooo stale! I asked her to remake it and she did, and instead of emptying the old granola out of the container, she just topped it off with fresh granola. Gross! Now I see why the almonds and granola were so stale, they don't know how to rotate their damn stock. On top of that, there was fur inside the almond container, which makes me question their cleaning practices. They probably have never washed those containers!! After the second bowl, and the new granola, which was still rather stale and had a very funny taste (like it was super expired), I couldn't stomach it. I felt bad for having her make the second bowl but I paid $10 for a fresh bowl and I got staleness , she wouldn't give me a refund. I walked out and then walked back in for the money. The food is good, but the restaurant itself is kinda gross. The whole place sorta smells like a kitchen sponge that should've been thrown out a while ago. And for some reason there's no trashcans anywhere? It's nice that they want to clean up for you when you dine in, but I just want to throw my cup away when i'm walking out. We have been ordering out with Docs for a couple of months now. The buffalo chicken ceaser wrap is simply the best wrap I have ever had. Not only is it reasonably priced but often times comes out looking more like a burrito than a wrap. read more

I love this place! The food is so fresh and because of that I feel like I am doing myself a huge favor every time I eat here. And I eat here often! The service is great as well. Let me just say, I've driven by this place several times but finally decided to visit when a friend told me how good their salads were. When I first walked in, there was an undeniable smell of mildew that hit me in the face. I almost walked out but the food still looked pretty fresh and I was really craving a salad. The salad I ordered tasted average and pretty fresh but not sure if I will return for 2 reasons: 1) The smell was a bit overbearing not to mention concerning (thankfully I still had traces of an antibiotic in my system from a recent illness) and 2) The cashier was rude and not very customer friendly at all. My husband and I have always loved Doc Greens. When they moved to their current location (basically across the street from their last location), we were skeptical of the potential changes in staff, fluidity, etc. We were very impressed! They have MUCH more space now and a great patio to sit outside. There's a smoothie bar where they also offer acai bowls. The woman who works at the smoothie bar is always on her phone and sitting down. The last three times we've been in we have never seen anyone order a smoothie or acai bowl, and I think it's largely because of her habits. The restaurant also seems to have a problem with bussing tables. The last time we ate here we have to clear off a table ourselves because EVERY table had trash, bowls, and plates on it. I was in Doc greens tonight at 8:05 pm and one of the employees (the short guy) was in a heated argument with a customer and his spouse. The customer was African American and was upset because the employee was treating him with a hostile tone and very different than anyone else that was waiting on their food. The argument got heated and the employee came from behind the counter threatening to "knock the customer out" and fussing at the customer and his spouse. The owner can run back the video during this time and date 5/26/20 to see the altercation. My fiancé had to come and break it up and protect the customer and his spouse. When I went to pull out my phone to record, The employee then went behind the counter and continuously argued with the couple. Keep in mind my fiancé and I were in there as well as customers getting smoothies and witnessed all of this. This situation needs to be reviewed immediately and the employee should be dismissed for his actions ASAP! This is not how you run a business! read more

The staff was friendly, but my salad was NOT good. The grilled chicken was the driest, rubberiest chicken I've ever eaten. The onions were cut way too big, and I found three or four pieces of brown, slimy lettuce in the spring mix leaves. I was just very disappointed. (The restaurant also smells bad.) Okay so. I've been wanting to try this place for about two months now. Today I finally tried it and OMG!!! I ordered the buffalo chicken Cesar wrap and I must say Doc Green's has the BEST of all times! I ate every bite! Everything was perfect. From the tortilla, to the sauce, to the croutons, OMG! Doc Greens is the actual best. Fresh ingredients, lots of meat, tasty dressings, sandwiches- they have everything. We order online to-go almost every week and they always have our order ready to go at the counter without waiting in line. Salads are about 10 bucks each but are HUGE so are good for 2 meals.
