    Loaded House Salad @ $9.99

Such a cute restaurant, although I agree with other reviews, that it needs a little updating/cleaning. The food was nothing special - pretty average. Service was slow, and server seemed unhappy - she wasn't "mean" but she just didn't smile - seemed tired. So much potential as it is unique, but I don't think I'd return.

Dive bar meets Mishawaka staple. Steak burgers, outside dining with a divy feel inside. This restaurant has been a love hate relationship. I've been here 3-4 times and my wife loves it, but I've had a couple good meals, and a couple not great. So first...good burger and good value. And the patio is great. Chill, cool, shade and I've always had good service here. The last time here was 4.5 stars. Good burger and service and all around great experience. This time the Ruben was better than ok but not 'good'. Not sure why but just lacking. Tasted like it came from a diner. The waitress was fine and took care of us. But order wasn't right. Missing salad. Pickles were supposed to be on the side. A few little picky items. So we'll keep coming and hoping for the 4+ star service.

View from my table to the front window. The ambience here is FANTASTIC!

This is a nifty little restaurant in downtown Mishawaka. The food is pretty good and the ambiance is AWESOME! I would recommend it for a date, family dinner, or get-together with friends; any could fit in with this place. Make note of the days of the week the specials and special prices are on and plan your visit accordingly, or you could end up paying quite a bit for your meal or the dish you want may not be available at all.

Visited here on a Tuesday night. They have a nice variety on the menu. The restaurant has a nice relaxed feel to it. My mom originally ordered the chicken salad but did not like it. It was covered in cheese and bacon. We both ended up with the cheeseburger special. For 4.99 you get a cheeseburger with fries. I added the salad for $3. The croutons here are amazing. I wish I could buy some to go. The burger was nice and juicy. The toppings were fresh. The fries were just ok. Will definitely return.

Service is good, food is little more than mediocre. The atmosphere is amazing and the drinks are cheap.

Dropped my dinner on the floor. NO apology whatsoever. Had to wait 15 mins for new meal. No discount either! Deplorable service! .

Steak was great. Salmon, not so much - too fishy, like it's been laying in the fridge for a week. Overall a pretty good place for the price

We were seated immediately and our server was very attentive. My wife got a grand sangria, which she absolutely loved, and I got a coke zero. They were very quick with my refills which I find important. We got the queso with brisket for an appetizer and it was very good. For the entrees, my wife got filet mignon and grilled shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes and a salad. I got the blacked redfish, which also had grilled shrimp, lump crab meat and a sauce. I also ordered the brussel sprouts and loaded baked potato soup. Our server came with our salad and soup, and told me they were out of the potato soup and brought me chicken tortilla soup instead. It was alright, but I was looking forward to the potato soup. Our entrees came out and they looked very good. My wife really enjoyed hers. Mine tasted good also, but the fish was undercooked and inedible in places. I ate what I could, but it was disappointing. If the fish had been properly cooked, it would've been a 4 star review. We will come back, I'm all for 2nd chances, but my experience fell short of the mark.

It's not your traditional steakhouse (if you're from California) but the flavors were on point. The atmosphere had a tavern vibe with plenty of tables to accommodate large groups. We started with tortilla soup and Caesar salad which were fantastic. The wine list is very good offering many California wines at a reasonable price per glass. The food was good - however my medium rare filet came out rare and the ribs were slightly dry. However, the sauce for ribs was a 10/10. I have to shout out the Brussels which were the best I've ever had. Service was pleasant and chocolate cake to finish the meal was a decadent ending to a satisfying experience.

My son and I had the smoked chicken sandwich, my daughter-in-law ordered the Bahn Mi and my husband ordered pastrami. Of course we all had to share and taste everything. We called Crooked Ewe, and they were kind enough to hold a table for us. As it turned out, the patio was perfect for a larger group on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere is laid-back and easygoing. Inside has that cozy, small-brewery feel, while the patio gives you a gorgeous view of the river. Our service was great - friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, although I thought some of the Asian-inspired dishes could use a little refinement. I ordered the bibimbap bowl with fried cauliflower, cucumbers and onions, shredded carrots and daikon, and kimchi fried rice. The cauliflower was easily the star here! Though the fried rice and other accompaniments could use a bit more flavor and texture. That said, the BBQ was A+. I added a side of brisket, and it was probably some of the best brisket I've ever had. It's a thicker cut and melts in your mouth. My husband and FIL also raved about the wings. One thing to note for families: there isn't a kids menu, but my son was perfectly happy with a cheeseburger and fries. All in all, Crooked Ewe was a great find for our group. We'd definitely come back, especially for those wings and brisket!
