This place was highly recommended. First time going. I didn't see a reservation option online and they aren't on OpenTable. We arrived and it was an hour wait:/ we decided to stick around wait. Thankfully it didn't feel that long because we walked around and enjoyed the views until our buzzer went off. We initially got a big pretzel and some chips and salsa to start off with. Yum:) My son got the Seafood Lovers plate and loved it and I got the Surf and Turf. Delicious. Our waitress was wonderful. Would definitely go again and just hope for a less wait time.

Still love this place! So much so that we did eat here twice in the last 3 days and I have no regrets. Great location on the water with excellent views. I've also found my new fave dish which is the Doc's Yard Bird! Can't wait to take my mom and mother in law here soon! Also, if you have a military ID you receive 10% off your meal. :)

We visited with a large group of 7 adults and 2 children, which can sometimes be a challenge for a restaurant, but this place exceeded our expectations. The menu offered a great variety of options that satisfied every type of eater in our group. From fresh seafood and fish tacos to burgers, salads, shrimp dishes, and kid-friendly favorites, everyone found something they loved. Every meal that came to the table looked fantastic and was cooked perfectly. The fish tacos were fresh and flavorful, the shrimp dishes were delicious, and even the burgers and fries received rave reviews. The drinks were equally impressive, with refreshing cocktails and non-alcoholic options that complemented the meal perfectly. What really stood out was the service. Despite our large party, the staff was attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly. Food arrived promptly, drinks stayed filled, and we never felt overlooked. The restaurant itself was also clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable atmosphere for both adults and children. Finding a restaurant that can successfully accommodate a group this size while delivering excellent food and service isn't always easy, but this one did it effortlessly. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal with family or friends. We had such a great experience here at the bar with Rebecca while we waited for our table. We ordered a few drinks and came on military Monday so we got a discount since my partner is ex-military. I got the Vida Rum Runner. The rest of the table ordered a Paloma, a shiner, and a straw Basil. We also got some chips and salsa. Once we moved to our table, we had Skye as our server. She was awesome and gave us some really great suggestions. We ordered shrimp po-boys, salmon, clam chowder, and another appetizer. Everything was yummy and we especially loved being able to watch the live sunset for dinner. Special thanks to Skye for making my mom's birthday so special. She turned 82 during our visit!

Lots of seating. We couldn't sit on the outside deck, but were close enough to get up and see the dophins playing! Our server, Shay(?) was a delight. Friendly and recommended some delicious things. We ordered the clam bites and the chicken fried steak.. it was huge! Came with 2 big portions. We shared it and still took some home! They had live music too. All in all a great place to come for dinner.

Came to Corpus to celebrate our daughter's birthday- choose Doc's for dinner. So glad we did. We were a party of 9 and were seated right away even though it was extremely crowded. James was our waiter and he was amazing. Our drinks were never empty long , appetizers came out fast ( the seafood queso and souther egg rolls were amazing !). We had a wide range of food- salad/ buffalo chicken sandwich/ hamburger / and all the specials - red fish - tuna -flounder and they were all amazing : have eaten many times in Port A and this tops them all and worth the drive from Port A to eat here. The Sunset was also a great ending to dinner ! One more shout out for waiter James he was so amazing !

One of my favorite places on earth, and I have reviewed it several times in the past, but not working in CC anymore I only get here during Sandfest. It was a chilly, overcast day so none of the standard beautiful sunny views, but the food was as good as ever. I almost always get the special, and this day was no different. I had the blackened redfish over rice, and it was fantastic. A couple different local brews and some great company made it a complete day.

Our dining experience here tonight was so amazing! It was a busy afternoon but we were able to get seated right away. Our server, Ally, wade the sweetest and so attentive. She gave us her recommendations and the specials. We ordered drinks as well as some of Ally's recommended entrees. The food was so flavorful. I highly recommend the crab stuff flounder. The key lime pie was exceptional. While I no longer live in Corpus we are adding this restaurant to our family favorites and will definitely be back.

Stopped to eat at Doc's Seafood & Steaks on the trip home from Port A. The parking lot was full and the restaurant was very busy on a Sunday night. We were able to find parking and were greeted by the host. We were seated quickly with no wait and got a large booth in the dining area to accommodate our party of 7. It was too dark by the time we got there for us to enjoy the beautiful view. They had a live music performance which was enjoyable. The service was very friendly and attentive. Was very engaging with the kiddos at the table and a very friendly demeanor. I have to say that this time around the quality of the food was not as good as I remember. I ordered the Coastal bacon wrapped shrimp, 6 jumbo shrimp stuffed with cilantro lime cream cheese and wrapped in applewood bacon. The specialty side was squash and zucchini and a side of rice. They did provide me with a butter dipping sauce upon request. The shrimp was a bit overcooked and chewy and they were also a bit smaller than I remember. The kids in our party had a cheese burger and grilled cheese kids meal with apple sauce. When the grilled cheese sandwich came out and the kiddo did not want to eat because it was greasy and shaped like a circle; the server took it back to the kitchen to address the concerns. Also ordered the fried shrimp platter, 8 shrimp hand-breaded in panko and comes with fries, slaw, and hush puppies, tartar and cocktail sauce . Also had the catch of the day platter with mahi mahi served with rice and the vegetable of the day. The Costal cob salad with chicken includes fresh mixed greens with pico de gallo, cheese, egg, bacon and avocado. Over all a good dining experience with attentive and friendly service. Just wish the food had been on par with the last visit.

This place offers great food with stunning views of the sunset over the water. It can get busy, so expect a wait. If you have to wait, you can always head downstairs and hang out. They have a bar down there and a couple of games to play, like cornhole. I will warn you, though, parking can be really tough for dinner - even parking on the street can be hard to find. They have live music on most nights, but I'll warn you, sometimes the performer in the dining room can be a little on the loud side and just a tad annoying - it's not absolutely terrible though. They offer a decent selection of local and regional beers, but none on tap. They also have a full bar for your favorite cocktail. They have covered outdoor seating on the deck, but you can still see the sunset from inside if you are seated in the right area. When I was there, they had the big doors open, so a decent breeze was coming in, and you could see the sunset. The crab-stuffed flounder was my favorite - it's a must try! I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Great service and food. Went on a Friday evening around 5pm and they were too busy. Got a seat outside on the patio and they had additional fans going to help keep it cool. Grant, was the person who assisted and I got one of the specials - Parmesan crusted redfish. This was amazing! The crust on the fish was crunchy and gave a nice contrast to the delicate fish inside that was cooked perfectly. The sauce on top was equally delicious and the only negative was it was a shrimp sauce however there may have been one or two pieces of shrimp. So, that could have been better. The green beans were seasoned well and the rice also flavorful. The restroom was sea decorated and a different set up with a split stall, one right by the entrance and the other on the far side with the sinks in-between. The views were great! Overall delicious food and good service, I'd recommend to pop in especially if you can make it for the sunset, has to be amazing.

Docs Seafood and Steaks is an absolute must if you're in Port A! We came just in time to catch the sunset, and the atmosphere was incredible, relaxed, coastal, and the perfect way to end the day. The service was fantastic too, quick, attentive, and super friendly, even during a busy season. I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Snapper, and wow, it was huge and absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily a dish I'd get again. The rest of the table had the Fiesta Burger (with a veggie patty), a seafood platter, and the mahi-mahi, everything looked amazing! For appetizers, we tried the hush puppies and Wisconsin cheese curds, and those cheese curds are a 10/10 must-order. But the real star for me? The clam chowder, creamy, rich, and so good I'd come back just for another bowl. I'm definitely giving this place a four out of five, for the only reason of being the veggie burger had a little too much soy, and the fries were a little dry! But that is no reason to not come! This place is amazing! If you're looking for great seafood, friendly service, and an unbeatable view, Docs is the place to go!

If you're looking for seafood that'll make you question why you ever settled for frozen fish sticks, this is the spot. I went all in with the Seafood Lover platter: 1 flounder fillet, 4 shrimp, and a crab cake fried so perfectly, Gordon Ramsay himself would have shed a single tear. The shrimp? Honestly, I'm convinced they trained for the Olympics before they ended up on my plate. Now, the margaritas. I started with Doc's Margarita and thought, "Hmm, this is kind of weak." Fast forward to the last sip, and suddenly I'm smiling at strangers like we've been best friends since kindergarten. The Skinny Margarita, though? Hands down the winner-light, refreshing, and sneaky in the best way. Add in some great live music, an atmosphere that says, "Yes, order dessert, you're on vacation," and a waitress who deserves her own fan club. We had such a blast that we broke the golden rule of vacations: never eat at the same place twice. Yep, we went back the very next day. 10/10 -highly recommend. Bring stretchy pants.

Ordered the $28 stuffed flounder with crawfish. Most horrible stuffed flounder ive EVER had. It was served cold no crawfish hardly and sauce the flounder was nasty and fishing, prolly old bad fish. The rice was tastless and the fries were just average. Would never get that again nor go back. My wife had the ahi tuna sandwich The bread was way too thick and the tuna way over cooked and chewy. It suppposed to.be pink slightly it was cooked till.it was brown inside. Also have a cup pf chowder said it was the best it town. Well it must be the only one in town. No clams just potatoes and runny canned soup. Save your money go elsewhere. . read more

Came here on a date night while we were in town on vacation. To begin, I'll say that the atmosphere is real nice and they even had a live band playing on a Wednesday evening. It was great looking out onto the bay while we were eating dinner. The ambience is 4 stars. While I can understand that prices are a little higher due to the tourism, I feel like they were a little too high for what we received. To start, we ordered the seafood queso, which was pretty tasty. The issue with it was that it was $13, and it looked like they just opened up a bag of Tostitos and put them on the plate (see pics). I could make that myself at home for a couple dollars. I couldn't help but feel like I was being taken advantage of. I ordered the crab stuffed flounder and my wife ordered the grilled mahi mahi. Both dishes were tasty, but nothing to write home about. For the price we paid the dishes should have blown us away to where we couldn't stop talking about it. I think we paid in the upper $20s for each plate. After tip, the final bill was around $75 which would be ok if we were blown away, but we just weren't. Some of the locals recommended Snoopy's, so next time we're in town we'll probably try it out. read more

Excellent food. Had fried shrimp and the fries and shrimp were 5/5. Hush puppies need work. My mom had fried flounder, it was the best fried fish I have ever had. Would highly recommend the fried flounder. Calamari was good, nothing special. Drinks Mango Sunset and Strawberry Basil also great drink choices. read more

Nothing exceptional that would justify the price. Service was great, but casual. Food was just about on par with every other seafood joint in the city, including the place next door that is the same view and half the price. We had dinner here went on vacation in Corpus Christi. Beautiful views of the sunset and it appears you can even drive up on your boat to the restaurant directly. The food was good and they had lots of craft brews. Definitely try the local breweries they make some good beer in corpus! read more

I have been coming to Port Aransas for years and I had never been to Doc's. So I decided this time around I would try it. I really enjoyed going to Doc's. It's a fun place with a great view. When we were there it was packed. Had to wait over an hour to be seated which was fine because we just sat at the bar and had a few drinks and listened the band that they had that night. For dinner split their coastal bacon wrapped shrimp was delicious! Our server was sweet and very professional! Being a busy night we were not in a hurry. All in all.. Doc's is fun place to go to. FYI.. it does get busy especially on a Saturday night so you might have to wait. Will be back. read more

Great 2-level restaurant literally on the canal. Nice open air atmosphere with friendly staff. The dinner wait was only 10-15 minutes. We enjoyed this place so much, we ate there twice during our 4 day visit. Excellent choices, and no regrets. It's been said before, don't forget to try the Key lime pie! read more

Sunset views galore! I thoroughly enjoyed my recent beachy vacation to Padre Island/Corpus Christi. It was a much needed weekend getaway with a great friend. If you're visiting the island it is an absolute MUST that you venture over to this spot! The food is decent but you'll want to go for the live music and the beautiful skies on the gulf. If you are into people watching you will enjoy as well. Weekends do get busy so arrive early or set aside time to wait at the bar. I ordered a piña colada (because hello...decadent vacation in a glass) and was glad I did. The peel and eat shrimp were just alright...it satisfied my craving after a busy day of walking around shopping. The sun setting is like an event though so you must grab a spot so you can get the most perfect photo. I was glad I did. My friend seemed to enjoy their salad and we ordered queso which I did not enjoy as much. I would skip that next time and just order light with mainly beverages to enjoy the music and views. Service was just alright as well but I would come back for the entertainment and atmosphere alone. read more

This place is awesome. Loved the views and relaxed atmosphere. The seafood queso made for a great starter as did the tiki drink we ordered. The fried flounder, fries and hush puppies tasted amazing. So did the sweet potato fries, green beens, and key lime pie. What was over the top was the customer service. My dish wasn't made to order, I didn't complain but when I asked about it, and they made it right. Not only did they make it right, they came to our table to assure we were happy with the meal and service. That's some good management at work. Thanks to the server, Bethany, and to the manager, Joe, that assured we had a wonderful experience at Doc's. We'll be back for sure. read more

We went on a Sunday evening hoping to watch the sun set. It was amazingly crowded. We did get to see the sun set but were seated more indoors. The food was great! We had stuffed flounder and grilled flounder and both were perfectly prepared! Our waiter Charles was great. Attentive & helpful without being pushy or rushing us. We definitely will come back! Almost $2 an OUNCE for cheap wine! 50 Cents up charge for extra sauce for seafood, and TWO bucks for one extra slaw in the SAME size cup as the sauce! TOTAL ripoff. AVOID AVOID They do NOT tell you ahead of time either! read more

I would give less than one star if I could as both my partner and I Ate different meals, Which were served lukewarm. We were both verifiably food poisoned and later that night In the we hours we started vomiting to the point of dry heaves. I did notify the health department who went out and there were violations and by doing a little research, I discovered they have never had an inspection without violations. To me that means they don't care to correct the situations. With enough good restaurants, safe restaurants here in Corpus Christi, now that you know, I am hoping you will choose to eat at restaurants without health code violations. Had the "Special" yesterday for lunch. Recommended by our hostess-waitress, Shay. Very lovely person. The incrusted and stuffed flounder at 30 dollars per plate. Worst food ever, tasted like the stuffing was pre prepared two days prior and then installed in fish that was several days old. We live in Corpus, caught many flounder. What they served was nothing like we have ever caught. Margarita was good. Service excellent but food was totally horrible. read more

Good was outstanding! I had the stuffed grouper and my wife had the fried shrimp, both were hot when we got them. My only complaint was they served our appetizer about 3 min before our entree arrived. We ended up taking the shrimp queso home and enjoyed it the next day. Wait time was about 15 min to get seated. I stayed in this area for work frequently over the last few months and this is one of my favorite spots, especially on the water. Excellent food, views, and service. Only knock is the music act booked on 10-16-23 was awful. My entire party left early due to how bad the live music was that night. read more

Downstairs is very chill. Good band playing familiar music and a bar to have some drinks while you enjoy the sunset, listen to some tunes and wait for your table. When our table was ready, we made our way upstairs. They usually have a guy playing guitar and singing inside but ironically they had him quit at 8pm on a Friday night. That baffled me. Why would they stop the music at 8pm on a Friday night at a very popular restaurant? Service was and food was good. Great variety of menu options for all taste buds. read more

Ordered Seafood Lover dish, $27. The portions were small, fried Shrimp were tiny, the fried fillet was vey thin, the coleslaw looked and tasted like it was masses produced in a factory. It was all just low quality food that looked like it had been fried hours earlier. I expected more for the price. Also, they don't have any beer on tap. The only good thing was the seasoned waitress Autumn. I'f it wasn't for her attentive service, and warm smile I would have given this place zero stars. read more

Definitely a 5/5 star experience. Our waitress was so nice and gave us good tips on what to order. I eat fish often, and what I can appreciate is when a restaurant cleans their fish because it is very obvious in the taste when it's not cleaned properly. The flounder was really good and the shrimp was breaded to perfection. Next time we're here, we will definitely be back! read more

We always ask where the locals go and Doc's was it!!! Food was great...fried shrimp, ahi tuna with caper aioli sauce and crab cakes. Stoped for lunch on our first visit to the area, and was not disappointed! Decided to eat on the porch looking out over the water. We started out with chips and salsa and crab cakes, and hubby had clam chowda! I got a frozen Margarita hubby met his friend Captain Morgan! I had blackened red fish and the hubby had fried flounder. My redfish was grilled perfectly and hubby loved his flounder. The waitstaff was attentive with out hovering!!!' My only negatives were: 1: the portions were huge and we couldn't eat all of our main meal. When you have a 4 year old with you your food and service are everything. The view is beautiful and the location is cool. We waited forever to get our drinks and something I really despise is when I order another drink mid meal and then is comes after I've finished eating. I guess it just depends on the luck of the draw where waitstaff is concerned because we saw other tables served by attentive waitstaff. I was expecting more food than we were served and I was disappointed that I was still hungry after the meal. We were able to fill up a bit on the generous desert. Last but not least I didn't want an item that came with my meal.....uh-oh, we have a problem. I don't want to hear "you can give it to someone else at your table" and for the record I didn't ask for a substitution or to reduce the price of the plate. I just didn't want to waste food. read more

It was delicious ! The Cajun fries they don't describe it in the menu, but it comes with cheese chives and some seafood and it was amazing ! The clam chowder was nice and hearty. I ordered the tuna tacos and I was expecting like a tuna salad type thing and when I received it it was the actual fish and it was fantastic, all the flavors you put into it, the little kick of spice, I loved it ! And the green beans I couldn't get enough of. The margarita was a little watered down but it was hugeee I'll definitely be coming back read more

Came here for dinner after a day at the beach. The place is really big and nice. It had a huge patio overlooking they bay. The night we went there was also a live band. I ordered the grilled Flounder with wild rice pilaf and green beans. The fish was ok. The thicker part of the fillet was a little undercooked. I ate from the tail part up to the head so didn't realized it was undercooked until I was almost finished. I wouldn't have said anything anyway, it happens, no biggie. What I was really surprised at was the kids meals I ordered for our kids. They had chicken strips with apple sauce. The apple sauce was literally served in the plastic container on the plate. The chicken strips also looked like it came out of a box and heated up. I think their meals were $7 each and I was expecting better quality than two strips and a plastic cup of apple sauce. When you're under the assumption that everything is made in house it does make you wonder what else is prepackaged when you see stuff like that. read more

We had a large party and it was busy (Father's Day!) Despite that, the service and atmosphere were top notice and all 17 people reported delicious food. My only complaint is that I didn't try the fried cheesecake. Definitely recommend Doc's. read more

Honestly we wish we could have stayed for the steak. But we were most impressed by the waitstaff and ambiance. It was beautiful way to watch the sunset. And our server was seriously the best. He kept refilling our drinks and helping us out. We enjoyed the crawdad fries and the chocolate tres leches cake. The cheese cubs needed a little something else. Don't know what. read more

Another great evening and perfect location for La Posada Christmas Boat Parade! Great meal amazing service! Food just keeps getting better. Doc's began it's operations in 2004, in the same location in which it stands today. Bill Blankenship (now deceased) and Carolyn Blankenship worked many years and long hours to build Doc's into the family fun, waterfront dining experience that it is today!

On this visit, my cousin's wife recommended Surfside Sandwich Shoppe, so we met her and her two kids there and also invited some friends who live on the island. The first challenge was actually finding the place. Even with GPS, it's surprisingly easy to drive past because it's difficult to see until you're almost directly alongside it. Parking was also very limited and a little challenging with our group. Inside, most of the space is occupied by the kitchen and bar, while the outdoor seating area is considerably larger. The outdoor area worked well for the kids, with a chalkboard and some large stackable toys to keep them occupied. I ordered the Cuban Press, while the kids went with burgers. They also have a pretty extensive drink menu. We tried the margaritas, which were okay, although smaller than I expected. Unfortunately, the food took a very long time to come out, and a couple of things got lost along the way. They forgot our mozzarella and marinara appetizer as well as the broccoli salad I had ordered as my side. My Cuban Press was very good, although it's not a traditional Cuban sandwich since they use pulled pork. Authentic or not, I enjoyed the sandwich and the accompanying sauce. The kids were happy with their burgers as well. I didn't get a chance to try the shrimp bisque, but others in our group had it and reported that it was excellent. Overall, there were things we liked, particularly my sandwich and the outdoor area for the kids, but the very long food wait and forgotten items made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been. With a larger group of kids, it also wasn't necessarily the easiest place for us. We might come back without the kids and sit inside to enjoy the bar, or I'd consider grabbing a sandwich to-go in the future. The Cuban was good enough that I'd certainly eat it again.

We weren't seated until around 8:25 PM, and after ordering, we waited another 15 minutes for our food. Because the restaurant closes at 9:00 PM, we were literally the last people there. However, the front-of-house chaos was completely salvaged by the rest of the experience. Our server, Danielle, was amazingly kind, sweet, and incredibly awesome! On top of that, the food was absolutely amazing, tasty, and served piping hot, with 1 of the hurricane combo being really cold. My brother couldn't finish it. And the steak was dry, and needed more flavor. I will say the chicken tenders were ginormous and very juicy. The atmosphere was also great very comforting with nice, beachy vibes. The Verdict: A incredibly frustrating wait and a rough start with the host, but Danielle's stellar service and the fantastic food made the night worth it.

Sucks because night one of our vacay we really enjoyed dining here. So much so we tried eating here before we left town. The hostess clearly does not listen to customers because she wrote us down for twelve guests when I told her two adults, two kids, and a high chair. After an hour and a half waiting, I sent my husband upstairs to check on our table where he was brushed off. Once I realized the whole waiting area downstairs had cleared out I checked on the table where the hostess assured us we were not passed. When they tried to sit us at a twelve top I understood what had took place. My kids at this point starving and miserable I y tried to shake it off. Mistakes happen. Next, after almost an hour of waiting for our food I realize they had sat a big top at the twelve top table they previously attempted to sit us at. The large party had ordered and were being dished out their plates while we- At this point still no food- and furious. I left. They offered to pack up food for us but serious at that point I'm not spending that money on a bad experience and cold seafood takeout. Staff didn't care at all for their errors. My wife and I headed to Corpus for a little R&R and as usual we hit our favorite restaurant in Corpus. I always read yelp to see if they are still up to par and see what to avoid. On one review the service wasn't up to snuff but we couldn't believe that based on our experiences we've had in the past and the crab cakes took a few hit's, which happens to one of our favorites on the menu. We came in on a busy Saturday night and the wait was less than ten minutes and as usual we where greeted like we eat there every day. We didn't stray to far off our usual favs on the menu. We started with the crab cakes and they where off the chart as usual. We moved onto the Shrimp and Avocado Salad that they gladly split for us and it was fresh and very tasty. My wife had the Yellow Fin Tuna and is was cooked perfectly and fresh with the Avocado Baja Sauce was crazy good. I had my old standby the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and it delivered. The views of the bay and service is my we always find ourselves hitting this gem of a restaurant. I wish they where in Dallas. read more

Only good thing about this establishment is the view. Beautiful view but horible restaurant. The staff at Doc's are mostly a bunch of kids who could care less about you or the service they provide. Plan to wait a very long time for very over cooked over priced food. The waitress never returned to our table after taking our order. No refills on drink here. If you are lucky enough to flag down a kid waiter they act upset you want another drink. I do not have anything good to say about Doc's except for the view. Will not be returning back to Doc's. Snoopy's is right next door I can get the same view with better service and edible food. read more

Doc's is wonderful. You can't ask for a better atmosphere when wanting to eat seafood on the beach. The entire place is open air with a few coolers and fans around to create a cool breeze. The food is absolutely wonderful. The service is great. Staff was friendly, music was great and food was fabulous. Lovely view of the water with interesting ship traffic. Depending on where you sit you can get a killer view due to the open sides. The crab stuffed flounder was incredible. I recommend the Tsunami drink next time you visit the Doc's. This place sounds more appealing then it really is. Docs is an extremely dirty restaurant with very incompetent staff. The service is so bad you should not go there hungry cause your not going to get served anytime soon. Our waitress took our order and never came back. Finally got our food and it was just awful. Nobody in our party finished their plate. Dirty restaurant, Rude waitress, Overpriced, inedible food, And a long wait to get all that. If you want good seafood go next door to Snoopys. read more

This is by far the best seafood place Ive tried in a long time! I travel weekly so that alone speaks volumes. The service and food was immaculate. I originally came for the stuffed chicken but ended up with the blackened flounder topped with a crawfish poblano cream sauce, roasted red potatoes and green beans. Oh let's not forget the wrapped shrimp add on and the pirates mai tai :) (Don't judge me) If your in Corpus Christi even if for a night add this to your list of things to do! read more

The best thing about this restaurant is definitely the view -- it's absolutely beautiful and makes for a lovely atmosphere. The service was also very friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food itself didn't quite live up to expectations. It was pretty mediocre overall -- not terrible, but nothing memorable either. Every time my husband and I come to Corpus we have to stop here. Amazing and always friendly staff, and we've yet to have a bad meal. The chicken sandwich and shrimp po boy are our favorites, but everything we've had is always good. Great place to catch the sunset, but the atmosphere is always relaxing and never too loud. Food sucks too don't get the burgers or seafood queso I wouldn't ever go back here even if it was free.
