Customer service 0/10 Ambiance 0/10 Food 0/10 Placed a pickup order at 8:30, got a notification my order was ready at 8:54 . Upon getting to the restaurant i was greeted rudely by a red headed/ ginger haired associate . She had an attitude before even assisting me . Told me my order was still being worked on because they were behind on a catering order . If my order wasn't ready it shouldn't have been pressed as complete in the system. After waiting over an hour and a half my food was ready. Staff are talking and laughing in the back while there is a line out the door for pickup orders/ doordash etc. customer service at this location is poor beyond compare . Owner of the establishment was there not once did he come out to apologize for the delays or even greet anyone . Staff didn't apologize for the inconvenience or thank everyone for waiting patiently for bad service at the least. Will not return and wouldn't recommend. After waiting the hour and a half food was cold and wrong .

Tasty food at a casual spot with friendly banter. I even got a chuckle from the person at the bar when I told him that as a German I was required to tell him that they were misgendering my Bratwurst (they made it neuter (das), when sausages are feminine (die -- pronounced "dee"). Oh, yeah, I also got a pretty tasty local IPA.

OK, so I've tried there breakfast burritos here before a few times and they were all amazing. This was my first time coming here for dinner. So I tried the Nashville hot chick sandwich and the chili cheese, tater tots. They were both delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to try it again.. I just called placed my order and picked it up got home and it was nicely packaged and still warm .

Second visit to this place and it was delicious. If you can wait and have a late afternoon lunch/early dinner, the place is not busy and the service is quick! My dairy-free husband got his questions answered so he could have a pain-free meal. Clean dining room, friendly staff...what's not to like?? Will definitely be back again!

My grandpa is a hot dog enthusiast, so we often visit Dog Haus. Their menu isn't limited to hot dogs. They have sliders, corndogs, and burgers. The chili cheese fries are my personal favorite.

Came here to claim my free breakfast burrito (any kind I wanted) for my birthday. I got the one called Haus. It was good. I was only able to eat half though. It was a lot to eat. The burrito is huge! I also tried the chili cheese fries. Man! The chili has a kick! I ate parts of the fries that had no chili. I couldn't handle it. The fries were nice and crispy by the way. My fiancee had to eat the chili cheese fries since I couldn't handle it.

Went tonight to celebrate national cheeseburger day all by accident. I clicked on an old email about a $5 reward, and the app showed it expired yesterday. I came across the fact that it was national cheeseburger day. I sent it to my husband, and he was 100% down for dog haus, especially since it was BOGO for their haus cheeseburger. We placed an order on the app, and my husband went to go pickup our food. He, excitedly, came home with the burgers. I started eating mine right away because the baby in my belly was hungry lol. Sadly, his burger had onions, and he can't eat them. He went back, and Christian helped him again. He was the one that helped him earlier. Christian was doing everything back there by himself. He was super apologetic and got his burger to him right away. It was perfect the second time around. Thank you, Christian! And thank you, Dog Haus, for a delicious cheeseburger to celebrate tonight!

The food is good, no doubt about it. The cashier suggested to me that I could use the kiosk to look at the menu as well as place an order, so I did. When I ordered my corn dog, it asked what dipping sauce(s) I'd like and listed the cost of each one. So I paid about 49 cents for mustard. I thought that seemed really stingy of them. When we started eating, my friend said he wanted some ranch, so I dug into my purse for some quarters to buy his ranch, but to my surprise, one of the ladies working the counter kindly asked what I needed and just gave it to me. So, if you order at the kiosk you will pay money for dipping sauces. If you order with a human being, your dipping sauces are provided at no extra charge. Got it. Weird. Whole meal costed around $75 (sheeeeesh).

First time eating here. Had planned to go elsewhere but it was closed so we decided to give this spot a try. Cute spot. It was empty when we got there but there was a steady stream of orders being picked up. We ordered from our table using a QR code. While waiting for our order we took advantage of the games they had available. My cousin enjoyed the Oahu Chicken and a breakfast Burrito. The chicken sandwich was a 7/10 good flavor but could have used either more sauce or some sort of spice. The burrito was a 7/10 as well and needed more avocado and less salt.

Aside from getting the delicious breakfast burritos, I finally tried a veggie burger from here. It was ol good but nothing spectacular. I appreciate the soft buns, but don't like how 4 small ones are put together to make one burger bun. It/they were soggy on the bottom before I made it home. The burger also needed seasoning. The soft bun edges crumbled instantly and made it difficult for me to pick up my burger. Just all wrong and chaotic to eat! Onion rings and fries should be cooked darker and much crispier too. Some tweaking is needed and if buns change, I would probably return,

I went to the location in Carson off of Avalon With my son. This was the first and the absolute last time I will ever come here!!! My son dropped his cup and I asked the "manager" for another one and he responded "we just can't give u another cup but I can give u a water cup" the smallest cup...looked like the top on the medicine bottle. I asked for a complete refund. The "manager" here is TERRIBLE. I'm talking and he's talking over me!!! What kind of customer service is that ???? And then I ask for the email to contact corporate and he's responded "look it up on the website" I will never eat at this restaurant again. I see why it was completely empty. read more

Nobody ever really thinks abiut the bread when it comes to a sandwich or a burger (if they arent culinary trained that is). This place has exceeded my expectations. The burgers are dope, the staff was friendly and its a cozy little environment. They even lettuce wrapped my girls burger for her. Its a lil pricey, but what good food isnt. read more

This place was delicious!!!!! I seen it on Postmates and I just had to come in and visit myself. My husband and I enjoyed the "Downtown " and the "Reservoir" dog they were both very delicious especially the tots!!! Omg delicious!!!! The actual establishment is very clean , modern very sturdy chairs and benches . The service was great! I'd especially like to thank the manager JOHNNY who politely came over to our table and went into depth about the menu . I appreciate his hospitality! I felt even more like a guest !!! Meeting him made me definitely want to return.... I highly recommend this place!!!! read more

From the moment my mother my husband and I walked into Dog Haus in Carson we realized that the owners must be very welcoming people. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Love the cool casual atmosphere . The food is tasty good old American food. I had the veggie burger, my mom had the Old town and my husband had the hangover. We all thought the food was delicious . Totally a family feel . The owners introduced themselves to us. They say and talked and everything ran smoothly. The staff came across very confident . I say I would not mind being in that Dog Haus. We will go have happy hour there for sure. . read more

Love, love, love that Dog Haus exist in Carson! My favorite item on the menu is Scott Baoli with a side of tater tots! The location has good parking and located between Ihop and Darrow's. Place is clean and people are friendly! read more

In my experience with dealing with "gourmet burgers/sausages," I have never had to wait 45-50 minutes for my order to be ready. I came in here with the expectation of having my food, being in and out of there within an hour. There's no way two burgers cheese tots and a sausage take 45 minutes to make. It's either horrible management staff, or their employees have no idea what good customer service is. As far as employee attitude goes, nobody working had any kind of positive spirit. Not only did the food take forever, the experience was not up par by any means. Never coming back, which is sad since I live up the street, and was really excited about this location. read more

So I wasn't sure what I should rate because the food was amazinggggg my wife had the cowboy haus dog and I had the chili idol and fries and cookies no complaints on the food at all everything was perfect .....but we were highly offended by the owner or manager who came out to greet all the customers he is an African American man and he only went to the African American customers to ask them how everything was glanced at us and walked right past us we were ready to say how good it was but he didn't even acknowledge us at all how can he go to every table but ours that's beyond rude I have never felt so disrespected.....as for the cashier Javiyan he was very nice and helpful. read more

Coming from LAX one night back to Huntington Beach searched food near me. Nothing but garbage fast food, but then saw Dog Haus. I exited Avalon and saw them on the left just past Carson St. Where do I park? When I circled back and found the parking entrance just behind them off Carson St., I was glad I pursued. I was greeted when I walked in, and was surprised by such a great menu. Didn't know what tap beer I would like and they let me sample a couple. I had a Cowboy Dog and a beer. One of the best dogs I ever had. I left and started towards the parking lot, and thought, man, I should have another, it was too good. I went back and had a Chili Idol & the another beer. Great service. Great food. I have been back several times. I make the 30 minute drive to go eat there, it is that good to me. On my last two trips, I met Sherwin. Great personality, great presence, a pleasure to speak with. I love getting to know owners of where I go. Just yesterday I took my 22 year old son and his friend. They fought me tooth and nail about going there, they wanted In-N-Out. We went, and we had Cowboy Dogs and a Downtown Dog , tator tots, with some nice cold beer. They were very surprised with the great food and atmosphere. They enjoyed meeting Sherwin. They want to know when we are going again. If you do not want a dog, get yourself a Bad Mutha Cluka Chicken Sandwich, a favorite of my wife and her coworkers. Worth every minute of the hour drive round trip or if you are headed on the 405 somewhere. Stop by. read more

My husband and I love a sausage place called Wurst Kuche in downtown LA and we were really excited to find that there is a sausage place in Carson now! Went with a group of friends and it was really good! Happy I don't have to go to downtown anymore for a gourmet sausage! read more

We came pretty late. I think the fryer was off or something. Corn dog was dark brown. And there just wasn't enough napkins to soak up all the grease from it. The hot dog was ok. Nothing really stuck out. I wish the bun they used wasn't so plain in taste. It could really add something to the hotdog. read more

Came on a Thursday night and was not really busy. My friend and I usually go to the Long Beach location but decided that this would be a better choice since the LB location can be a little hard to find parking. The place was clean but the menu was limited not like the LB location where they have different toppings and sauces that you can add to your hot dog or burgers. Food is good but I think we'll stick with going to the Long Beach location! read more

Dog Haus is amazing! I go in about once a week and always get something new. I highly recommend the Scott Baioli and the downtown and cowboy. The Sooocal is amazing to. The only thing I wish I could of kept is the Beer Coosie but the cashier sad no but other than that. This place rocks read more

Omg I loved everything about this place, I got the Oktoberfest special, the sausage was just the right amount of spicy. All their dogs and sausages are served on yummy kings Hawaiian rolls, to gorge even more i got cheese tots which were amazing as well. Their menu has something for everyone and is very reasonable. read more

This is an update, as promised. And this time, Dog Haus did not disappoint. Service was faster and no errors to our order. This time around I tried their cheeseburger and tater tots. Messy cheeseburger but so worth it. I know, you're thinking 'it's just a burger' but really i enjoyed it. Ingredients tasted fresh and that bun/hawaiian bread... good stuff people... I'll be back and i'll be more adventurous next time. read more

I highly recommend the Mutha Clucka! the batter that they use to wrap the juicy chicken is to perfection and when you add Chili to this, man it's delicious! and you can never go wrong with their chili cheese tater totes. I tell people about Dog Haus all the time! The carson location is nearby and in my opinion the best out of all the other locations i have been to (burbank & DTLA). read more

Really nice and great restaurant ! Came in today for their free hotdog 11-1 pm , and was able to get my whole order for free ! The owners and staff was very nice ! Will be coming here for lunch ! This place... Hands down, super fresh, but still FAST food! The service was great, the manager is very personable and even gave us a card for 10% off our next visit... I had the Scott Baoili which was tasty, but, my friend had the Chili Idol, substitute a slice of cheddar cheese instead of the sauce and throw some carmelized onions on it... OOOHHH WEE! SO BOMB! And I forgot to mention the Anthem Cider we had before our meal, yummy! And all around great place, family friendly, and I'm happy that they have a home in the South Bay! We will definitely be back! read more

Pretttty, pretty....pretty good! I liked the downtown and loved the thai! I like to get it to go and munch at home after a long day. Lots of curious recipes I look forward to trying. 4 stars only because I feel some things are a little overpriced. Specifically the sides. I have never been to an establishment that served beer on tap that wouldn't allow a small sample of a new beer on tap. When the owner of said establishment was asked by one of her employees if he could give a sample...she said, she couldn't allow it, because if she gave me a sample, everyone in line would want to sample one. The fact that she was argumentative made the dining experience even worse. The wait time was at least 10 minutes longer than that of the other person in our party. The burger was subpar, the Tatar tots were just ok...all in all the rudeness of the owner was enough to make me never return to this establishment! read more

There were tons of kids around when we went, none of which were fussy (which no judgment if they are, I get it) but I think that shows how kid-friendly and family-friendly this restaurant is, which isn't very easy to find. Just because of that I would definitely come back. We reserved at the earliest they had open that day (11am) and they were able to hold the spot for half an hour max--it wasn't too crowded yet but already a good amount of people coming in. They also had a shopping event that day so that might also be part of it. When you first walk in, there is a visitor log you sign into and they give you a badge that you return when walking out. It was overwhelmingly sweet and overpriced for what we received. We were hoping for layers of flavor and nostalgia but got a sugar rush that could probably power a small city. As a business owner myself, I understand that customer service is one of the biggest drivers of customer retention. Great products can bring people in once, but great service brings them back. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on both. The good news? These issues are fixable. A little more warmth, engagement, and hospitality would go a long way. The service here is exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like we were their top priority. Our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The food was everything you'd hope for in a traditional American spot.
