Awesome place! I love the classic feel and look to the restaurant. Owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Not to mention a huge menu at that, with lots to chose from! The root beer was the best I've ever had! No joke. He said the family recipe is over 100 years old. I got the chili cheese dog and my fiancée and I shared the epic fries. Everything was so tasty and fresh. We don't visit this area too frequently but when we do I'll make sure to come back to this spot and show my family and friends. Thank you :)

I absolutely adore this place. From the moment I walked in, until I got my food and talking to the owner I believe. When I first walked in, it was empty but I was greeted with such attention and care. I'm not sure if that was the manager or what bur he was awesome. He explained tge menu, specials, and what most people order. I came in specifically for the elote dog. I brought my 2 dogs in their stroller and it was just a friendly environment. It was friday and I came in at 3 so I got the happy hour prices. A gourmet hot dog and any beer for 12.95! To me that us a steal! My husband got the polish sausage with sliced beef and sauce. 5 stars just bc that was one of the best hot dogs I've had. My elote dog gad perfect grilled corn and tasty bacon bits. Next time I'll ask for more elote sauce, I mean the cream. I tasted my husband's meal. I loved the texture and how meaty the polish sausage was. If I had that in my elote dog, that'd be the perfect hot dog for me! Yum!! I also loved the original flag on the wall! The decor was just so awesome! I can't wait to try more stuff here!

Thank you Uncle Tito for the hospitality! My wife and I had no idea this place existed until we decided to grab a good old fashioned hot dog (NOT COSTCO). The restaurant is styled as a 1950s diner with the and I love it. This place is tucked away right next to SpringHills Suite Hotel. I could see Dog & Suds from the highway, so finally tried it. Nothing spectacular for fancy hot dogs. The place was quiet, but for customers waiting for food to be prepared. It felt like we were all bored from waiting too long. One young lady taking orders and One young man in the kitchen by himself. I tried their basic dog and it was OK, with plenty of toppings. Many dogs to choose from, all just below $10. Fries selections started at nearly $4. The dining area was clean and very nicely decorated. Overall, not interested in returning for a pricey lunch.

Came in here on a Thursday around 2:30pm and it was empty. The man who helped us at the counter was extremely friendly and while I was looking at the old photos on the wall, had said that his parents were the original founders I believe. He brought us the food and checked on us too. The food was so good too, would definitely return!

First let me say , I was very happy dine here for my first time with my daughter and her family, the cozy atmosphere of a sixties style diner was great. If you're craving hot dogs this is the place to be! My sister and I got Chicago Dogs, Coney Dog and a Chili Cheese Dog Specials. Each came with super crunchy fries and a choice of soda, we got root beer and all of it was delicious. I saw on their menu that they also have cheese steak sandwiches and hamburgers... I'll be back to try these out soon! Super friendly staff and very clean.

They are closing tomorrow and this was our first time coming here from another city and saw the wonderful photos on Yelp but today... I have to say . What is this ??? It tastes how it looks. Almost 30$ later for this food that was not good. Very disappointed

I've been meaning to try Dog n' Suds for quite a while. I saw they have an open mic night on Mondays so we finally made it in. It's got that 50s diner/ hole in the wall feel to it but with a modern digital menu behind the counter next to the local beers and merch selection. The folks behind the counter were friendly and helpful. Obviously, there is a huge selection of dogs to choose from as well as burgers, many fry options and some hot sandwiches. I went with a classic, the coney dog, classic fry, and root beer float. Made to order, the food was hot and fresh. Good quality hot dog with tasty chili, cheese, and onions on top. The fries were delicious. Crispy and flavorful, I dipped mine in the ketchup provided and washed it down with the float (plus several refills on the root beer. You could come here every day for a month and have a different entree every time. They also do breakfast on the weekends and that looks great too. Stop by on a Monday for some live music on the open mic or Thursday for the $5 drink specials.

3 stars cause well not a wonderful experience. No one said hello when I walked in and 2 People were out front. Anyway after waiting like 8 min my dog was ok and fries were crispy But not that hot Root-beer float was good. I won't rush back but you might like it. I don't normally eat hotdogs, but gave this place a try and was thoroughly impressed. The service was outstanding, 1950s/1960s ambiance was incredible, and the hotdogs were phenomenal. They also have plenty of other options in case you don't like hotdogs. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a bite to eat! read more

We came in and instantly we were met with friendliness. Steve was so kind and personable to us and everyone else who came in. He told us a lot about the history of the franchise and overall was just super cool to talk to. I got the elotes dog and my boyfriend got the BBQ cheddar brat, and I have to say both were incredible. Sometimes when places have specialty hotdogs or burgers, they cheap out on the base and rely on the toppings to save it- not this place. The dog and sausage were so delicious. Buns were sooo good. We also got the ube sundae and Steve told us about how their baker is a filipino woman and she recommended selling ube and it took off, and that was super cool to hear. Their soda is also amazing- best root beer EVER! We live in San Diego and are definitely going to be returning. read more

Came in with husband for the first time and had a wonderful time. All the old gentlemen working there were so kind! I loved the energy and vibe. We got the Italian beef sandwich with sausage and the Temecula dog with a side of chimichuri fries. Everything tasted really good. Was really craving a good o fashioned hot dog and decided to pop in and finally try this place. First off there were options galore! So many it was hard to decide but ultimately I went with the Chilli cheese dog and Chicago Dog. Both were made fresh and full of flavor! Less then $4 bucks each and made it a combo with fries and a drink too. The owner was super kind and you can tell by that A rating this place is kept super clean at all times. Plenty of parking out front and plenty of seating inside. Don't want a hot dog? Try their burger or dessert options also. Great addition to Temecula! read more

First time today! I came to support the car meet because my son is really into them. He invited me, and I was like hmm food looks good so I will go! I was not disappointed! Chili fries were so good and the California dog even better! My son tried the street corn dog and he loved it! The customer service is absolutely great and very nice! My lil one enjoyed the plain hotdog w ketchup and fries. It does take some time to get your food, but mind you, it's freshly made and not sitting under a heater! Great Scott! If Back to the Future is in your top 10, then you're gonna love Dog n Suds. Think all that 50s diner experience with an upgraded foodie twist. They've got hot dogs umpteenth ways, root beer and craft beers to leave you a sudsy mustache, and some ice cream to top it off. And the hits like "Put Your Head On My Shoulder" and Buddy Holly are on rotation. A super cute experience with an ambience to match those serious gourmet hot dog vibes. We had the brat which is served on a delectable roll and classic sauerkraut, elote fries with bacon, and Rover's Treat which is kind of like a pizookie with a caramel drizzle. I have been here 3 times since they opened and have been wowed every time. The owner is a super cool guy with family ties to the company all the way back to the 50's. The food is delicious, I have not had something I don't like here. I recommend the Elote Dog and the Fry Dog. Eating in the restaurant is super nice as well. Atmosphere is good and the tables are clean. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Well worth a stop if you are in the old town Temecula area. This place did not disappoint. Brat was on point as was the chili dog. Garlic fries accompanied the meal and were fresh and tasty. All the the food was delicious considering it came off as a small little pick and go deli. We sat in the restaurant and enjoyed our meal. Old fashioned root beer is a must (however the manager said I really should have tried the float...). Great staff, clean restaurant, along with clean restrooms. read more

This place is SO good!! From the food to the homemade sodas to their EXCELLENT customer service! The sweet girl working tonight was helpful and so kind! Many places lack customer service now a days. This place is great. I got the chili dog combination special they have on Wednesdays. The bread or bun that they use is toasted on the outside with a delicious flavor and is super soft. They also have homemade sodas. I had the classic root beer and it was absolutely the creamiest root beer I have ever had. I will be going to this place to try more of their menu soon! Tried to head here Thursday night at 6:30. Good thing I called first, because they said they were already closed when Yelp says 10pm. Went here Friday after driving over 20 mins away. Menu and food looked great. Took food to go. Got home and nothing looked like the picture. My son was so hungry he ate his food anyway but said he never wants it again. Got the Fuji dog. Literally only had crispy onions and Mayo. No tonkatsu sauce no furikake! I ordered a sausage specifically because it said it had chimichurri and some other stuff. What a disappointment! Tasty dogs! The family really enjoyed this place. We had the Coney Dog, Dog n Suds Dog, regular hot dog and a burger. All were really good. My favorite was the Dog n Duds dog - a perfect of flavors. The fries were good and crispy. The orange cream float and root beer floats were also excellent. The owner was working really hard as it was getting busy. We'll definitely be back. read more

Simply amazing food.. I got the chili dog and chili fries. Really great quality. Really large hit dog so it was really filling as well. My son got the cowboy burger and he loved it. Searching for something to eat on our drive back to the OC from one of the area casinos and found this new place on Yelp. Tito was great with his suggestions on what's on the menu. Husband and I ordered the classic Chicago dogs. We split an order of their delicious fries topped with chili and coleslaw. The dogs were delicious and the fries were sooooooo tasty (order them...sounds weird but in a good way!). We hear their beer is great but we opted for the cold and refreshing root beer. Flavors were great but the hot dogs were ice cold same as the chili. The buns were soaked in cold hot dog water so that needs to get figured out. Especially w a Chicago dog that has so many cold condiments. The chili cheese dog was also cold same as the chili on the fries so the cheese stayed cold. Burger was really good. Straighten out the food temps and it'll be like back in the Midwest. If the health dept stuck a thermometer in the food it would not have passed. read more

The food was not good, it had no semblance to Korean anything for us, the sauces were odd tasting and I had an upset stomach immediately after. The family next to us we overheard them saying they enjoyed their corn dogs, but would not be back. We did not enjoy our food, nor the service and we wouldn't be back as well. I wanted to give the owner a heads up on our way out that I would be leaving this review, but he was busy back in the kitchen. I can't believe I've only just discovered this place! I tried the elote dog and it was incredible. The hot dog itself was extra tasty and juicy, and the bun was perfectly toasted. I also ordered the chimichurri fries, and they were amazing too! The chimichurri sauce was flavorful, and even the ranch was good. The fries were perfectly crispy. This place is really great especially for where it is located. Ate here 3 times over three days while staying at the spring hill for a wedding.
