Have had a cabin in the area since 1968, but due to past experiences have avoided this place like the plague! However, a few weeks ago, basically it was the only full service restaurant to be opened, I decided to go in, with really low expectations. The servers were very welcoming and on top of everything from coffee refills and topping off water. We should have left right when we were ordering and the waitress (who wore such strong perfume that I had to cover my nose every time she came to the table) told me that they had no hot tea, because the owner decided not to stock tea bags because few people ordered hot tea. My cinnamon French toast was okay. But my ham slice was obviously cooked in a lot of fat which coated my tongue. I couldn't it. My husband's gravy on the mediocre biscuits was tasteless.
