First, I decided to take my daughter to sushi to celebrate an occasion at 5:30pm. We arrived at 6pm thinking we would hit the dinner rush and it would be a long wait. To our surprise it wasn't that busy. The ambiance was a pretty mix of modern and classic Japanese decor. The service was prompt and attentive but the real stand out was the food. The rolls are quite large and tasty. The prices are reasonable and the bento boxes are a TON of food. I can't wait for my son to come home from college so I can take him. Swung through Summerlin for an event and wanted some Japanese. The food quality is top notch. Fish is fresh and delicious. The sashimi slices were superbly think and fat marbled. Our first time here and it didn't disappoint. We were craving sushi. This place was a very cute/small with not a lot of table which felt like we were in an authentic from the beginning. We went during lunch special so we started with the Chicken Katsu box lunch special which was surprisingly delicious. Which came with miso soup (not pictured). Probably my go to sushi place in Las Vegas since my last place closed down. The sashimi is perfectly prepared and tastes so fresh. Their choice of saki is also great. I try to go here at least once a month, try the mackerel and yellow fin tuna as well as the snapper and octopus. My wife always has a roll and has never been disappointed in her choices. We really enjoyed Dojo Sushi. It definitely filled my sushi craving! I also love sashimi and was able to find a perfect mash-up with the Out of Control Roll. As you can see from The picture it is packed and rolled with different fish. There was salmon, yellowtail, tuna and avocado seared with eel sauce. Delicious!!!! Came here for the first time because I saw that they had curry and I love Japanese curry. So I came in and on the menu they had chicken katsu, pork katsu, beef katsu (first time I ever had this), and shrimp curry. I had the beef katsu curry and they had small chunks of potatoes, carrots and onions in their curry which was good because most places just have curry. Taste-wise it was ok. I've had better, but not in Vegas. So I'm satisfied with what I had. Will I eat it again? Yes but I will not order the beef katsu curry again. Tried this spot for the first time this weekend with family and friends to celebrate a birthday. We were blown away by the quality and quantity of the food in their bento boxes! I got the pork katsu bento- everything was fresh and tasty. My husband commented that the miso soup had very good miso flavor and was not watery like most other places. The pork was fried perfectly, as was the tempura and the California roll was so good- the layer of rice was the perfect amount and not overly thick like some other places. So came here for an early dinner, and I ordered the 3 roll combo. I picked my three and my husband got the bento box with pork belly. His came with miso soup, which was good, a small little salad with house dressing. Then his box! It had large pieces of tempura, good size rice and meat. Plus 4 pieces of ca roll. My sushi was okay... I have had better in LV. It had an after taste on all three of the rolls. Would try it again and get the bento box and taste the sushi again. Inside is a cozy interior with six dining tables, two TVs, a relaxing atmosphere, and peaceful music. The owners are sushi chef and wife Carina, both have an immense love for cooking and creating fresh food which led them to open their own restaurant. The menu offers a variety selection of tasty appetizers, salads, rice and noodles, ramen, udon, curry and rice bowls, sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and bento box. I opted for Chicken Katsu Bento ($13.95) which includes California roll (8 pcs), shrimp tempura (2pcs), vegetable tempura (4 pcs), salad and miso soup. Chicken katsu is lightly breaded and very crispy, it comes with a side of katsu sauce and steamed rice. I love shrimp and vegetable tempura, also crispy and tasty. California roll is fresh and good, green salad is yummy with the delicious ginger and carrot dressing, and miso soup is hot and soothing. If you buy any two rolls from Roll B and Roll C, you get one free roll from Roll A. Baked Salmon Roll ($11.95) is very delicious with avocado, yum yum sauce, baked eel sauce, and masago, this is a really good fluffy roll with moist and tender salmon. Mango Tango Roll ($11.95) is tasty, it has shrimp, crab meat and cream cheese topped with sliced mango, mango sauce, and yum yum sauce. If there's crispy shrimp tempura in the mango tango roll, I would have love that even more. Foto Maki Roll (6 pcs, $8.25) is also good and a big portion that's generously filled with tamago, crab sticks, oshinko, hobo, cucumber, avocado. As for sweets, they offer mochi and ice cream. We found this place one night just driving by and craving sushi. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. We were greeted right away and seated. The menu has a lot of choices. And they had great specials going on, like buy 2 rolls get 1 free. Which we didn't know about but when we ordered our server came back and told us to order one more since it was free. Everything was plated so beautiful. Very nice dishes. Everything tasted fresh and there were so many unusual rolls. We will definitely go back to try more. A little hidden gem in a strip mall. Definitely try this place. It small but service is great. The ladies serving us were so kind and always there filling up drinks and making sure we were happy. The restaurant looks the exact same as before, so not much change there. Got the buy 2 B/C roll, get an A roll for free. The sushi was decent, but the portion size is on the smaller side. So happy to find this place! Was looking for sushi on a Friday night around 8pm, somewhat near where I live. Lucky enough, it's only around 5 minutes away! I'm very picky with sushi and Japanese food too, as I used to work at a Japanese and sushi restaurant for around 7 years that was Japanese owned and operated, and only got high quality grade sushi. So seeing that there was NO ayce here was another plus! Good sushi means no ayce! You pay for quality, not quantity. Anyways, the hostess/our server was very nice and welcoming. I sure hope this place gets busier because they deserve it! Quality food, service, it's very clean, and the ambiance is nice plus they have tvs with the games on! Definitely a nice spot especially being nearby, I'll be here more often. It's very hard to find good quality sushi and Japanese food in this area. I typically drive 20-30 minutes just for good Japanese food. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The sashimi slices on the chirashi bowl were also nice and thick. The broth on the ramen could've used a little more salt but that's no problem that can be easily adjusted. Better to need salt than to be too salty! We were too full to look at the dessert menu and it was closing time so I didn't want to be rude anyways. Will definitely be here more often and definitely have to check out the desserts too!
