So I decided to try this place over the weekend. Ordered the chorizo burrito along with some pancakes. My daughter ordered the French toast and we also ordered an omelette. The food was decent but one issue I encountered was after picking up the food and arriving at home my wife told me that they forgot to include any syrup or butter. I immediately called them and told them what they had forgotten to include. Since I don't live to close to the location I told them that I was just calling them to let them know. The girl on the phone apologized but didn't say much else. A few minutes later my son who is allergic to dairy and eggs and who had ordered the chilaquiles noticed they had put cheese on the food. I called them again and this time I said I was on my way to have it replaced. When I arrived they took the chilaquiles and handed me the new ones. They also included the butter and syrup. The chorizo burrito was good and so was the chilaquiles. For the amount of you pay in this case close to $80 you would have thought they would have added a little extra or offered me something for the hassles. Nope. Mashed potatoes come drowned in gravy with no warning, corn is apparently "vegetables" and some how well done is okay to have pink. ‍ I can't eat meat that has any pink. My mom ruined me on that. I got a steak ham and eggs breakfast and hubby got an omelette with potatoes and we both got biscuits and gravy. Hame was a nice size and good but a little salty. Hubby's omelette was delicious Cooke perfectly not over cooked where there is brown and stuff inside were good. Veggies were crispy not soggy in the omelette. We ordered via Postmates. The name was different but the address was the same. They actually have 3 Postmates listings. Food wasn't bad but the order was not as expected. We ordered two Bacon Cheddar omelettes with tater tots. The omelette was described as have gooey cheddar. Only problem was there was absolutely no cheddar in either order leaving us with an over cooked, dry omelette. We also had ordered the Blueberry Pancakes. Their "Grannies Pannies" Postmates listing was two pancakes but the "Lucky's Breakfast Diner" listing was for 3 pancakes for about 40 cents more. Order came with only two pancakes. I will never return to this place. The food was absolutely terrible! Not even my 4yr old son would eat the food and he is a really good eater! The price was almost $60 for three people and I felt ripped off. The service was not great either. Nobody came to check on us to see if we needed anything like more to drink or napkins. Unless you have a large chunk of time to waste, do not come here. It takes a ridiculous amount of time to get your food. It's a shame too because the food is actually really good. I placed an online order this morning for pickup at 10:39am, with the notice it would be ready at 11:05am. I walked in at 11:05am and was told they had the ticket for my order but the kitchen hadn't started on it yet and that it would be another 30-40 mins. It would be understandable if it was going to be a little late, but to not have even started in almost 30 mins is ridiculous. As I sat down to wait, there were 3 other people waiting for their orders as well. The restaurant was not overly crowded. While I was waiting, at least 5-6 other people came in to pick up orders and each was told it would be an hour before their orders were ready. I overheard someone say this is how it always is. One person who had sat down to eat in the restaurant left because he was left to sit there waiting. My order was supposed to finally be ready at 11:45am but was not walking out with my food until noon. Employees seemed semi-apologetic but made no attempts with anyone I saw in there, myself included, to do anything to try to make it right. I will not be going back to this place anymore. And again, it's a shame because once I did get home to eat my meal, it was delicious and I enjoyed the food. read more

Im vegan, so I got the impossible burrito. I was gonna get it without egg or cheese, but the menu said it was vegan egg and cheese so I got it. I was skeptical at first so I asked my server and he reassured me that it was all fake. I ate like half the burrito and later I felt so sick. I ended up throwing up and girl let me tell you I had it coming out both ends. I know it's not the servers fault I just want the owner to remove the false vegan options. It is so good and generous portions! The service is great and prices are very reasonable for us retired folks. At this time they are only open for breakfast and lunch but I would like to see them open for dinner. It is very clean and even with music playing softly in the background we can hear each other just fine - hey when you get past 70 you value having your own teeth and being able to hear the person sitting across from you. Just tried this place and we all really liked it. It was nice that there was enough room for the stroller to fit at the end of the table for the baby. The wait staff was friendly de helpful. Everything is so new and clean. They keep everything really clean. Also, a big plus was that our food came out really fast! Everything we ordered was very good and tasty. We ordered: Crispy waffle with banana and nuts ( mom is very picky and she was very happy with it) Country skillet was very good. First (and last) time customers this morning for a late breakfast. Service was good, as was the food, however the prices are high. $4.50 for a fountain drink is ridiculous and is price gouging. My ham and cheese omelette was good, but $3+ more than other places I frequent. The gravy on the biscuits was bland. My wife's plate of two eggs, bacon, country potatoes and toast was $10.99, compared to $6-7 elsewhere. Table setup (condiments, creamer and sugar) was still in Covid mode.. packets of everything and in styrofoam bowls, and seemed out of place. We were driving by to go to another restaurant and decided to try Dolli's for the first time yesterday. We included myself, my husband, 11 year old, and infant. Here is what we ordered: Myself- crispy waffle. Added 1 egg, 1 sausage, 1 bacon and I added hash browns- asked for extra crispy. 11yo- 4 piece bacon and egg plate with hash browns and biscuits and gravy Husband- steak and eggs with hash browns and white toast. The restaurant was clean and was constantly being picked up as soon as s table left. The wait staff was really nice and attentive. Refilled our drinks without even asking. A major plus for me was having enough room at the tables for her car seat...with an infant after 11 years Im recognizing how important this is!! The food was good. My waffle was sooo good. The over medium eggs were cooked perfect (that's important!) Our only complaints: 1. Hash browns- they were undercooked. I asked for mine extra crispy. They can out barely golden like the all the other plates and they were on the verge of being raw potato tasting. It was the only thing all three of us didn't eat on our plates. 2. The biscuits and gravy. They looked good. Sausage gravy was very sausage-y which looked like a good sign. They were okay at best. Very watery gravy over a very dense biscuit (which wasn't bad- just dense). We all kind of shared it and 11 y/o ate it just fine. We parents were the ones critical of it. Someone had mentioned this place on a neighborhood site, so the hubby and I wanted to support local and decided to check it out. Food (Sorry, forgot to take pics)! Pretty standard breakfast food here, but we ordered: Chorizo Burrito (10/10) - Big, filling and flavorful Banana Nut Pancakes (10/10) - Standard size, and yummy Carne Asada Skillet (10/10) - Good mix of flavors, and if I had remembered, I probably would have asked them to add avocado, but it was still delicious without it. Service: Restaurant was about halfway full when we got there, but service was quick and friendly. From taking our order, to bringing out drinks and food, they were fast. Inside: The place is pretty big inside, and decorated as you can imagine for a family-owned cafe/diner. Booths along the perimeter, with tables in the center, though they were spaced out really well and no two parties were too close to one another. Incredible food and reasonably priced. Got the sirloin steak and eggs, I'm 6'2 230lbs and this meal was plenty. Steak was tender AF!!! Even the water is good, which surprisingly most restaurant water tastes like "restaurant water". Service was great, the interior is typical diner but cozy. Big TV's everywhere so that's a plus. It's hard to find a decent steak and eggs and this place was delicious. Will def be on my rotation. I don't do reviews unless the place deserves it, nor am I getting anything for free. Super good food with addicting Lavazza coffee! Good service most of the time. Clean and spacious with many televisions. I highly recommend the Corned Beef Skillet, omelettes, and Chicken Strips and fries. The red salsa (upon request) with the omelette is so good! I wish I could eat here everyday. Delicious breakfast/brunch that doesn't cost a fortune! I love coming here for breakfast instead of traditional chain diners (it costs half as much!) Service is just a bit mediocre with a lot of young millennial servers...very sweet and polite staff although occasionally gets my order a little off. Although they could be a little more attentive, the food is amazing. Been here a few times now and with a great menu and a selection of different dishes, nothing you order can go wrong. My personal favorite is their club sandwich on sourdough. They give you a slice of pickle and have delicious, crispy French fries to go with it. I recommend getting breakfast here, the eggs Benedict with hashbrowns were somewhat fantastic. However the chicken ranch wrap was a disappointment. The ranch tasted weird and the chicken in it was just plain awful. Very hard to chew and very weird pieces of chicken which there was barely any of considering the size of the wrap. Thought I would try a new place for breakfast . Big mistake. I walked in and and saw the layout was weird. No counter. Ko greetings. A big half empty place with several big screen TVs. I found someone to seat me and ordered a coffee. That was it. Despite very few people there and plenty of staff, I waited about 20 minutes before giving up on being served. Left money for coffee on the table and walked out. This is a place you could literally walk out without paying if you wanted to because no one would notice. Unfriendly place with nonexistent service.
