Cute little coffee shop downtown. Simple choice of different types of coffees with milk alternatives for an extra $.80 reasonable. friendly service , clean area with some bar seating. few selection of pastries After noon time. I only got the coffee, simple good strong coffee, I would return.

My main draw to this place is how genuinely kind the baristas are! They're so helpful, work really quickly, and are just nice. I tried the seasonal banana split latte which had this insane Madeline cold foam on top. Such a good spot, also has great seating inside and out so good for getting some work done.

Visited here yesterday for our morning coffee- everyone was super nice and they had great service. As far as for the coffee itself though, it tasted pretty watery and didn't have much flavor. It was a cute shop and there were a lot of people there working on their laptops. Not the best place to take kids- not a lot of roaming room.

This local coffee shop downtown was a wonderful example of what local does well. The shop was quaint. The seating was plentiful. The menu was typical but had some fun drinks. I got the Nutella latte and it was delicious. No extra sweetener required. The service was great and barista was very sweet.

Based on the recommendation of a coworker, I stopped into Dollop coffee to see what the hype was about. I think this brand is unique to Chicago, so that was special. I like to get to know the vibe of the city where I'm visiting. I was immediately impressed by the semi industrial look of this particular location. I have since found out that the locations have their own unique decor, from what I was told. I heard that they bake their own pastries and roasted their own coffee beans. So that was neat and I tried both. I had a chocolate croissant, which was absolutely delicious. For my drink I ordered the spicy mocha, which is like a Mexican mocha with a little bit of extra spice added. It was very good. However, I ordered it hot and received lukewarm coffee. This is the second time I've gone to a coffee shop and the coffee wasn't piping hot. I don't know what this trend is. But anyway, the coffee tasted great, otherwise. The location was fairly busy for a Friday mid morning. Several people were in there with their laptops, working away. Oh, I must mention the music. Whoever chose the music that day had excellent taste!

If your a connoisseur of coffee, then this is the place for you! I ordered a Nutella Mocha espresso with steamed milk. It was outstanding. The restaurant is large enough to accommodate a group or if you wanna drop in and have a sweet treat and coffee there are plenty of coffee and dessert options. It's a nice place to hang out with friends or if you're studying for a test and you need to chill this would be the place for you. The staff were friendly and inviting if I'm in the downtown area again I'm definitely going to stop in.

We visited on a Saturday around 11am. It was pretty busy but we found seating at the tall table. Plenty of space at this time. The mugs are super cute! The drinks were decent - a bit weak for my tastes but tasted pretty good. The pastry was pretty nice.

Cute little coffee shop. Service was good and the employees were helpful. The coffee was of good quality and the scone was really good. They ran out of donuts by the time we stopped in, but will definitely be back to try it!

Dollop Coffee is a cute coffee shop conveniently located near the Northwestern Memorial Hospital. They have big paintings of flowers and Britney Spears. There was a bit of a wait on a Saturday morning. I got the Blueberry Latte and Blackberry Mocha, 2 drinks on their seasonal menu. I thought both were cloyingly sweet. Also, they just use the Torani syrup that you can get at many grocery stores instead of making their own.

A very chill vibe cafe, the staff is super sweet. We tried the Dirty Chai, it's a very flavourful coffee, great for someone who loves chai. I also tried the Blueberry Maple Latte, it's a seasonal special. It usually comes Iced but I requested them for a hot one because the weather was a bit chilly and that was amazing too! A great place to work from.

I stumbled across this location from Infatuation's best coffee shops in Chicago guide! I got the nutella mocha latte and my boyfriend got the honey cinnamon latte. They only allow iced drinks to be 16 oz here. The drinks were delicious, the nutella mocha was not too strong and not too sweet- it balanced the milkiness perfectly without being too watery. The interior is spacious and sells a variety of baked goods and other beverages (probiotic sodas, smoothies, and pressed juices). Great spot to stay and work or to grab your order and go.

Cute coffee shop in Streeterville. You can grab a quick coffee before work, sit and get some studying done, or hang out with a couple friends. I will say that there is always someone there either working or studying so this would not be a place to chitchat too loudly with friends. Drinks are delicious with specialty drinks for the season. There's a small freezer and they sell Jeni's ice cream-- such a nice touch. They also have donuts and bagels from local places.

A forever loyalist because you must solve an algebraic equation to get the bathroom code. Utterly delightful - and a caramel latte that my son tells me I should describe as bussin', so.

They also have a patio, and with the weather being nice, it was easy to just sit outside and relax for a while. I was honestly too hungry to spend much time deciding, so I just ordered one of the sourdough donut ball. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The outside had a light coating of sugar that gave it just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. Once I bit into it, the inside was soft, airy, and slightly chewy from the sourdough, which made it different from a regular donut. There was a subtle tang from the sourdough that balanced the sweetness really well, so it never felt overly sugary. It had a light crispness on the outside, then a warm, pillowy center that practically melted away with each bite. I finished it way faster than I expected. The only thing I forgot was ordering something to drink with it. Looking back, a good coffee would've made it even better. Still, I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

Our family and extended family often ordered birthday cakes from them, and their mango cake was our favorite. When mangoes were in season, they used plenty of fresh mango in the cakes. Their cakes are always fresh, light, fluffy, and not too sweet. My daughter and I also love their individual cakes, especially the Black Pearl and Walnut Cake. Their pineapple buns and egg tarts are her favorites as well. Saint Anna has also been part of our daughter's childhood. When she was little, my husband used to bring her here before or after Chinese school in Chinatown on Sundays. Her go-to breakfast items were the Butter Bun, Ham and Macaroni in Soup, and Diced Ham and Corn in Cream Rice. As she got older, Curry Chicken with Potato became her favorite. She especially loved the potato cubes soaked in the delicious, mild curry sauce. She would always ask for more potatoes and less chicken, haha! Saint Anna is a family-run business, and Sara and Irene, the daughters-in-law, used to take care of the front of house. They were always so friendly and accommodating. After a 6-year hiatus, we finally returned one Friday recently when we happened to be in the area with a friend. Sara is now a co-owner, and it was wonderful to see her again. She immediately recognized us and was so warm and welcoming. She even asked me to relay her greetings to my sisters when she greeted us and again when we were leaving. Those little gestures made our return feel especially meaningful. We were still full from a big dim sum lunch, so my daughter picked up 2 Mini Pineapple Buns and 2 Paper-Wrapped Sponge Cakes, while I got a Red Bean Roll. Everything was fresh, soft, and delicious, and the total came to just under $8, really a great value. Our friend also purchased 2 Fried Sticky Rice Dumplings with Chicken. I had never really paid attention to their limited dim sum selection before, so that was a nice discovery. We love Saint Anna and will definitely be back whenever we're in the area.
