I came to see Dom on Friday to get my right nostril pierced to match the one on my left. First of all... I was super late to my appointment because I was still doing my hair (priorities, okay?) and then had the nerve to get caught in L.A. rush hour traffic. Mind you, Dom is literally five minutes from my hair spot. But it was the start of my birthday weekend, so I was in my main character energy and clearly thought time didn't apply to me. Even though I pulled up late, Dom still got me right! She's upbeat, peppy, and got that type of energy that could turn your whole bad day around. I wasn't even nervous this time when she pierced my nose. Maybe because I was high, I'm not gonna lie. I took a sativa edible earlier that day and it didn't kick in until after my hair was done... so by the time that needle went through, my eyes watered and then I just started laughing. Was it the pain? Was it the edible? Who's to say? Either way, the vibe was immaculate. Fast forward 5 days later and the swelling's gone down (praise be), but yes , it still hurts a little if anything snags on it or if I press it. That's normal though, not my first rodeo. I had a double frontal helix and my tragus pierced and I'm surprised at how little pain i felt being pierced and little to none after.
