I've sat down and ate at this place many times but it seems that each time it gets a little worse. I was here on Saturday for my father in laws birthday and it was the general consensus of my party that the service and experienced was very bad. The food as always was good but there were just too many items in terms of service that fell far short. First we were seated in the corner of the cafeteria room which was annoying because the kitchen was right there and we had to over hear all the employees small talk and constantly had someone walking in or out of the kitchen. The waiter Shawn (Sean) told us he could make us whatever we wanted from the bar because he was the bar tender also but the first drink we ordered he couldn't make because he didn't have any chocolate liquor. Also under his breath but loud enough for us to hear he said he didn't know how to make a specific drink, and this seemed to be a theme because there were other times he spoke under his breath but loud enough for us all to hear. It took very long for us to get our entree order in like over an hour of us being there, we were literally done with our appetizers and our first round of drinks before he took our dinners. He was rude to one gentleman in our party by making him wait to order last saying he takes the girls order first which he could've phrased or done/said differently or at least said he was joking which he did not. Just very awkward. As he served us our dinners he asked if we wanted our salads with our dinner, which in most places you would have your salad before your dinner, I guess he forgot to bring out of salads before? I can go on and on about his awkward rudeness attitude he had but the last two were when he saw us going over the bill he interjected with an attitude that "he went over it five times and it's correct" (mind you previously during our dinner another client was going over/disputing his bill right next to us with an employee that we were able to over hear/over see because of where our seats where) but regardless the joke is on him because he was about $30 off on his math in our favor but that 30 doesn't compensate for the bad/awkward/rude/ weird service. He seemed to remark or sigh when he he saw that we reduced his tip because of said service. But the overall icing on the cake was when either the manager or owner came over to our table around 9:30pm telling us how they have a big party to set up for tomorrow and basically telling us to hurry up and leave lol when they say the dining room is supposed to be open to 11pm. So funny because if the service was better and on time maybe we would've been up and done by then. I apologize for the run ons here, the fact the food is good here saved them from a 1 star maybe at some point I'll be back there and maybe they can redeem themselves. read more

Consistency is the best way to describe this place. When you are hungry, this is a good place to fill that hunger with tasty (non-spectacular) Italian grub. The specials are a bit "over named" but yet don't piss me off. I has a chicken Marsala with prosciutto and a side of pasta. It was good, not great, but not bad. I go to every Italian Restaurant around because I love Italian food...I have found that Domenico's makes hands down the best Veal Parmagiana around... I had my baby shower here and everything was perfect. We are thinking of coming back again for another large party. I've eaten in the restaurant twice. I don't know why I don't go there more often - both experiences were wonderful. Huge portions, friendly staff, delicious bread. Yesterday was the first time I stopped in just for a slice. I was running errands in the area and had 15 minutes to kill. I was impressed with some of the specialty pizzas they had in the display case. The "chicken club" was really tasty, and nice and crispy. I thought for sure I was on candid camera when they told me I couldn't order a simple glass of soda! They tried selling me a full carafe and a half carafe....... But you can NOT order just a glass of soda with your meal. This is completely ridiculous. However, I see the reason for this. It's the size of their extra small glasses. They don't have tall glasses so I guess this makes it hard to sell. So to fix this problem, order new glasses of the right size and serve you customers a glass of soda when they ask! read more

Any way to give it 0 stars? If I could, I would. It's obvious that the serve people frozen food and charge $24 per plate. We had the seafood fradiavolo and it was awful. The frozen shrimp and calamari were chewy and over cooked. Stay away!!! read more

This place has ZERO respect for their neighbors that live bordering their rear entrance /parking lot. Their staff hangs out in the parking lot for hours at a time (usually between 3 pm and 5 pm) and think it is a park. They sit in a group of ten under a tree and talk and scream non stop. Sometimes someone will pull up in a car and blast their radio. They also play soccer and leave trash all over. Mind you, I live approx 10 feet from where they hang out. A PARKING LOT IS NOT A PARK!!!! Note the difference. Then once the restaurant closes their works sit in their cars with the music blasting for a good 15 minutes. This is at 11pm during the week and midnight on weekends. It is so loud the I hear it will all the windows closes and air conditioners running. I called the restaurant twice during their "break in the park" time but nothing has changed. Total disregard for their neighbors. PS. The pizza is ok but the pasta dishes suck,,,, read more

Used to be good. I ordered gnocchi with bolognese for takeout-$20. It was so dry- probably because it was just meat thrown on gnocchi.

Some of the best pizza around. The people at the counter always remember our usual orders, and they even go out of their way to bring the food to our table when it's ready. They have been my go to Italian restaurant for years. Very disappointed with my take out tonight. What was supposed to be an early Mother's Day dinner for me. It was like they had a shortage of sauce tonight. I ordered linguini with red clam sauce. I got linguini, clams and a few tomatoes. Couldn't see the red sauce even if I used a magnifying glass. My daughter got spaghetti with sauce on the side and they gave her one measly little cup of sauce. Couldn't even cover 1/4 of the pasta dish. Don't know what happened but for a $60 order, I expect my meals to include sauce. Not a happy customer and will probably not get take out from them again. read more

We went to this restaurant on Friday, June 23rd, after my daughter's graduation. We were a party of 19 and had reservations. Through no fault of our waitress, the service was not good. They were apparently short handed as 2 people called in sick and the service suffered. It took 40 minutes for some of our party go get drinks. Water came after that. Our waitress not only had our party, but 2 other large parties - totalling 40+ guests. When one of our party sought out management, someone came over and tried to sort out the drink situation. She gave us fresh bowls of ice. In order to save time, we ordered out appetizers and dinners at the same time. We hadn't even finished our appetizers when the dinners were delivered. Management made no attempt to make amends. We will not be returning to this establishment. read more

What a surprise. I was invited to a party here. From the outside, it looks like a typical neighborhood pizza place. The inside is HUGE! Room after room. The waiters/waitresses are very attentive and helpful. Even though I was one of 125 guests, my food was served hot and tasty. I'd certainly come back for a family dinner. Recommended! read more

Went to this restaurant for a meeting this evening. There was limited handicap parking, the parking lot was a crumbling mess, handicap ramps all broken, could barely get the wheelchair up the ramp. Then get to the door of the restaurant to find 2 90* turns, which would not fit a wheelchair. Rubber maps, snagged on wheels. No one from restaurant even offered to help. Just had dinner here with my mom and two children. First, this restaurant is EXPENSIVE. Food was just ok. My son got the stuffed chicken. He bit into it and some small hard object almost cracked his tooth. When we originally asked about this dish, we were not told it was covered in mushrooms. Our waitress Deidre, was nice but never mentioned the mushrooms when we asked about this dish. My son dislikes mushrooms and we told her that when she brought the dish out. She didn't seem to care and left it. So I spent $26.95 for a chicken dish that he did not eat. This is mediocre Italian food that is just way overpriced. There are so many other better Italian places to eat on Long Island. I left the place with$110.00 bill. No appetizers or drinks. And I hope my sons tooth is okay. Will never, ever go back. read more

What pizzeria reheats a slice in a toaster oven?? The absolute worst pizza I've ever had- bar none. Ironically, The employees were very friendly, the layout was incredibly large considering how small the facade/entrance was and the decor was very nice but, the pizza was the worst I've had in recent memory. The slices would have the same taste and texture if you reheated them in your kitchen oven on tin foil. Its telling when two children under age of 10 fail to finish a slice of pizza. Avoid this place and save your 2.45 a slice charge for another pizza joint that knows what they're doing. read more

My husband and I (and our family & friends) have been going there for years and LOVE it. We've held a number of parties there, too. The food is great and the staff is efficient and friendly. I have multiple allergies and can not eat any foods that contain Gluten. They have a special menu for those with Gluten problems and can accommodate your allergies - no matter what the occasion is. I never had to worry about eating a dish contaminated with anything to which I am allergies. I love Domenico's in Levittown on Hempstead Turnpike, It's in the corner of the King Kullen strip mall. When you first walk in it looks like a tiny pizzeria and then you make a left turn and the place goes on forever! The place is gigantic! The largest room is in the back, but therer are many other rooms to hold parties of all sorts. The portions are large and delicious and price if fair. Try it....you wont regret it. read more

I just had my engagement party here and the staff exceeded my expectations. The food was fantastic and the owners and waiters were amazing! For a group of 55 people everyone had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute of it! I'm so glad we had our party here. I would recommend this place for any special event! A Levittown institution. They first opened around 1967. Still in the same shopping center It was originally located several doors from its current spot. Had maybe 5 stools for patrons at that time. Delicious food help build the place into the 4 or 5 dining room place it is now. Domenico can still be seen in there greeting people. It's a touch expensive but the food is so good. My family and I have been going to Domenico's forever. So being that it was Mother's Day last night, we decided to place an order for take-out. Our bill came to just under $100 for 4 dinners. When we got home, my sister opened one of the bags and along with the meal came 3 pieces of italian bread and A VERY LARGE AND BLOODY BAND-AID! It was disgusting to say the least. We brought all of the food back and spoke with the owner who was just trying to make excuses for what we found. He said he didn't have anyone working there with a cut hand or finger, yet he couldn't explain how the band-aid got mixed in with our food. With all of his excuses, he did not once try to appease us by offering anything. He didn't even wish a Happy Mother's Day. Just made excuses and refunded us. So very disappointing. It might be a VERY long time before we go back there. NO ONE SHOULD BE HANDLING FOOD WITHOUT A GLOVE ON IF THEY HAVE A CUT THAT WAS AS BLOODY AS THE BAND-AID MADE IT OUT TO BE!! read more

Order was made incorrectly. I ordered a grilled chicken parmigiana and received plain grilled chicken which happened multiple times through takeout. The owner wouldn't stand by his manager's decision for trying to correct the mistake. He stood by the kitchen staff, because they claimed it was done correctly. I've never been asked to return the food that I've already gotten to prove that it wasn't done correctly until now. No credit was given, instead just the owner's demeaning manner. I was very disappointed.Went 3 others on 5/17/19.Had not been there in a few yrs but always enjoyed it..The waitress was just ok .The owners did come around and greeted us,so that didn't change.What did change was the food,the baked clams were not tasty at all.I had scungilli marinara which was so watery & the scungilli was very tough i have had it the past n it was not like that.Being I always eat out of a separate dish then my food comes,I put a small amount in my dish didn't even finish that & took the rest for my nephew who eats everything.He told me that the dish was lousy & i was right in my opinion.The mozzarella sticks were barely brown .The Tortellini della nonna was good.And the shrimp scampi was ok.I dont remember the other dishes but no one said the food was delicious.Coffee was good but waitress put the check on the table without asking if that was all.Just a bad night I guess and it was slow because it was 4:30 so no excuse it was too busy.I can wait a few more yrs.if I ever want to try it again.I know of a few good italian restaurants in suffolk county northshore that won't disappoint read more
