The basement wasn't cleaned due to them being worried about the dog. They claimed they couldn't find the light switch. The light switch is at the top of the steps and there's another set at the bottom. Dog was secured in the crate the entire time. Not once did anyone call and ask about the light switch, they didn't ask if it was safe to go downstairs and instead of just saying they messed up, they wanted to argue. In addition to that, there is a light right at the basement door before you open it, had they turns it on, they would've seen the switch ‍. My gut tells me they forgot or kissy didn't want to do it. It's terrible service, they did a very basic job and I do not recommend ever. ‍

Although I won't know the results until my carpet and couch is dry I feel as though a thorough job was done. We recently had water damage in our home when the washing machine decided to overflow and put a…read moresignificant amount of water on the laundry room and kitchen floors.  The water ran through into the basement damaging the ceiling and walls in our finished basement, as well as the carpeting on the floor.  We immediately called ServPro, who quickly came to our rescue, helping us move things out of the way to minimize damage and to begin the initial clean-up of the water. This was followed by one of their expert teams coming in and cleaning up the mess, removing the ruined kitchen and laundry room floors, as well as part of the basement ceiling and walls, and drying the entire place out. We could not have been more pleased with the workmanship and the professionalism of the team.  They were courteous and thoughtful and worked quickly, safely and took great care with our belongings.  They really appreciated what we were going through and were incredibly helpful throughout the process.  The office personnel, especially Tia, were so incredibly helpful as well, working to get estimates and paperwork together and even contacting our insurance company for us to make sure everything was taken care of. We are so grateful ServPro was there, we have no idea how we would have gotten through this without them.  Not only would I recommend them to others, I do routinely, as they are simply fantastic.

They were extremely courteous to my wife, my kids and me. Great guys. Would use that team any day for water restoration. That interaction was the shortest part of the job, hence the low rating. The restoration and office experience is an entire different story... Before I go into the bad, I will say everyone who entered my home was kind and respectful. Now the not so good: -Promises go unfulfilled. -told that we would finish in a week. It took almost 3 weeks -a team was supposed to show up on a daily basis by 8:30am. They showed up around 9:30/10:00am. Sometimes a few people, other times 1 person. One of the workers said he was taking vacation soon and the manager told us that person had to leave on a family emergency out of country. In my experience, emergencies are usually a "get up and go" type of instance vs something planned. -work was left unfinished and when I called the office they said "the walkthrough was completed" -We also took a railing down after a portion of the wall was painted (they still had to put on more coats of paint). They chose not to paint the area where the railing meets the wall. They said "oh, I thought you were putting this back up." We were told they would return to fix. Got a call that day asking to have it moved back until the following Tuesday... never showed, never called, nothing. I guess it was my fault since I went ahead and paid before it was fixed. - Attention to detail -many things were considered "done" and we had to point out holes that were not filled before painting, quarter round molding not nearly flush, holes in grout, etc. This would not have been fixed unless we pointed it out. For painting, these guys don't even tape. sloppy job on a number of corners. -Payment/Office interaction. - gave an upfront payment with a credit card. No issues, no fees - the day the job was finished, we were told if we wanted to pay with credit card again, we would have a 3.5% fee. No notification of this until the day of. Nothing written on payment terms in the contract, just a "by the way, this is happening now".. also, if they had finished on time, this would not have been a problem because this new policy was implemented after the fact. Talked to Steven about it who was very unprofessional. I told him about the delay being the issue and if they had finished on time, I would have still been able to pay. He even tried to blame me fore the delay. "Oh, you requested more work" (the promise of when they would finish occurred after the work was requested). Then he said they were waiting on the insurance adjuster to approve the additional work. Funny, the insurance adjuster called me asking where the update was from ServPro as she wanted to make sure this was taken care of quickly (I used servpro because they are a preferred vendor of the insurance I use so communication would be direct. He also said "we were waiting on your sliding glass to be delivered" (something they forgot to remove on their template contract from another customer...we had no sliding glass being done). Garrison at least had apathy, was apologetic and said they are working on how to inform people properly. Might not seem like a big deal but I don't like providing my bank account number. It's much more of a pain to fix than a credit card if it is used inappropriately. I told them I would take my time paying and Steven gave me more grief. I said how do they expect me to pay with a check if the insurance company has not even paid me. Turns out they didn't even tell the insurance company they had finished so the funds could be released! Just adding in, seems like I got a response sayiNg I should call about questions I have. I actually voiced all that was wrong. Kind of funny I keep finding more that is wrong. For instance, in the middle of a kitchen tile there is a piece of plastic or glue sticking out of the grout and spots that weren't even painted. Kind of funny that a walk through the house with my pregnant wife who just wanted the job done is a "final sign off" that the work is completed.

In comes OMA Professional and did what the naysayers said couldn't be and perform the services with grace and courtesy after having been told the carpet could be satisfactorily cleaned. Recommend OMA and will schedule within the next few weeks for cleaning the oriental carpets and the carpet in the home office which now has a coffee stain which I have no doubt will be removed.

I said my intent was to keep her team coming every two weeks but their performance might influence that decision. Well, A-Cleaning Service, Beatriz, does not give the benefit of the doubt to the new client. She simply said she canceled and would not send the crew she had promised. Obviously she does not lack for clients and can afford to be picky. Still I wish she had had a strong confidence in her team's ability to do a good job. Instead she pulled the plug on me and it was all over before it began. Not a good feeling. On the other hand I questioned why Beatriz never visited my unit, told me only that a new crew would come tomorrow at 9:00a.m I was not sure what to expect. She told me she would not be coming to make introductions of her crew to me or to inspect the property. And she added they speak Portuguese but can communicate with basic English. First they were supposed to be at my home at 8am, they did not call nor show up at that time. This was at a huge inconvenience for me and a safety hazard as I left my door unlocked all day- 7 hours until they can find the staff to clean my home. Once I arrived home after work, they were finishing up but I noticed the work was not up to par for a "move in" cleaning. They did not clean out my refrigerator, I had to go back and ask them to do that- they wiped out my cabinets but did not put my food or pots and pans back where they were, just left them all in bags. They broke the turn handle on my kitchen window, and also broke one of the long blinds off of my patio. The biggest issue I had was the knicked my wall carrying up the vacuum up the stairs. I just bought this home with a complete inspection and that spot was not on my wall when I left home and had it been, I would not have moved in until fixed by the previous owner. It infuriated me that when I bought this to the attention of the owner of the company he said he would investigate. Well his investigation was asking his workers what happened and he said they told him they did not do that so the investigation was closed and there was nothing they could do. And then to add insult to injury, his workers helped themselves to drinking and leaving with my water bottles that I had sitting on the counter as I had just moved in. They did not ask and just took them at their own free will. This was a horrible, horrible experience and the owner of the company provided no compensation to fix my wall, window turner, blind, nor did he try to discount the service for them being 7 hours late to an appointment that was supposed to start at 8am. I am considering contacting the better business bureau as this was totally unacceptable.

He specifically noted that he did not want to charge me. The amount required for what sounded like a minor repair. His honesty and integrity was unmatched and saved me a lot of money. For their honesty alone, I 100% recommend these folks to anyone who needs their services.

It seemed they did a cursory wipe down of surfaces, most cabinets, and then mopped the bedroom and living room floors. The blinds were cleaned, but not all the windows. We still found dirty/dusty areas in the bathrooms and closets, and certaIn cabinet doors weren't even touched. They also didn't touch the kitchen floor, the stove, or the fridge. My husband reached out to the owner, Phil H via email, regarding the lack of attention to detail. Phil thanked my husband for emailing and not leaving a bad review, and assured my husband the work done by the team would be of no charge to us. BUT, we were still charged $351 - without any warning or further discussion with Phil. Another email was sent to Phil inquiring about this charge. Phil stated that the charge is just based on hours worked and the charge would have been higher had the crew stayed longer and been more attentive to the cleaning.
