I ordered from the Leonia NJ store and as usual they did not deliver my correct order. I used to order often from them and had the same problem and when they delivered it was always cold. Thought I would try again and the same thing. Called to complain and after waiting 5 minutes for them to pick up they offered a store credit or to deliver the item. Often times I would take a gamble hoping that they may deliver before an hour but their continuous runs of over 1 hour and 15 minutes delivery times and cold pizza has made this place a losing bet. By far the worst dominos to exist. I've had multiple experiences waiting over 1-2 hours just to get cold pizza. Whenever I call to follow up on the order, I always get met with a bad attitude. One time there was a piece of ham on my vegetarian pizza and when I spoke to the manager about it, he started arguing with me and asking me why I don't eat meat. It was so weird- he didn't even apologize. The staff and the management are never helpful or polite. It's so sad that this is the only local dominos because I love the pizza from other locations! Do not get me wrong, I LOVE DOMINO's! but this location needs some serious improvements. Considering they always take over an hour to deliver to my house, This week I decided to place an order for pickup. Online it said it would be ready in 10-15 minutes, so I arrive after 20 minutes. It took 5-7 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence at the register, just to be told my pizza wasn't ready. Long story short, it took another 20 minutes for my pizza to be ready. Completely defeats the purpose of ordering online before hand if its going to take just as long. ALSO, they are very skimpy with the toppings. Ordering online was seamless as usual. My order tag said it was ready for pick up, so I go pick it up. I enter the store, its empty, and I walk up to the register. Five minutes go by before ANYONE acknowledges that I'm standing there. Employees look up, make direct eye contact with me and then look away to continue working. Finally someone says "what'd you order?" I told them my order and the man checks to see where it is. He checks and my wings aren't prepared. So I end up waiting an additional 15 minutes for my half-assed bbq wings. I say that because when I open the box it's just normal wings with a slight drizzle of bbq sauce. Like you could try just a little harder than that. Oh and for added measurement when I go home to actually have dinner they gave me ranch instead of the blue cheese I ordered. Side note. While I was waiting for my food; two other customers came in for a pick up order. They also waited the 5 minute acknowledgement waiting game. The pizza's quality is always great, but ordering process was slow. The expected wait time was 78-83 minutes, but when I arrived at that time the pizza wasn't even in the oven. However, they made up for it by letting me change my order that fit the current deals they had, which was very good! Today was the last time we will order from this one. They lie and say a few more minutes plus on the website it says delivered and it's not even here. The ones who make them will take phone orders, stay in the cash registry to take orders and then go make the pizza without washing their hands or putting on gloves. I've ordered several times from this Domino's. A few times, the driver forgot my soda - ok, not a big deal, but come on, get the order right the first time. When I ordered today, it was over a half hour before the pizza and boneless chicken (or what I thought was boneless chicken) arrived. The pizza was cold. Also, I realized that we had someone else's chicken order! I called the store and was told that my chicken was left at the store and the driver would be back with it. Well, here I sit, almost 45 minutes later, and still no chicken. For the prices they charge, this is unacceptable. Twice in a row received the order over an hour from the time I placed it in the app. Today, after precisely 55 minutes from placing the order, the tracker says I received the food. When we called the place, a rude woman answered insisting that they called twice and rang our doorbell. I even doubled checked the answering machine and we didn't get any. I like to order from this dominos because the workers are polite. They are understaffed!! This place is always busy- online orders, carryout orders, and their phone is riiiiinngingggg. BUT they dont have enough employees to catch up on the customers and orders. I hate to see 1-2 people running around frantic so I understand the wait time. I typically only order Dominos - Leonia for delivery since it's a town away and I like their online coupons. If I'm picking up pizza I tend to order from my local pizza shop. My order tends to arrive before or on time based upon their tracking system. I only have one complaint, during a delivery this winter the delivery guy didn't' have my food in the insulated bag and my food was barely warm. The only reason I have them a 2 is because we switched from ordering regular pizza to their pan pizza, which is very good. They consistently made cardboard as pizza and always took forever for delivery.
