This was by far the best pizza I have had since I can remember and I am pretty up there in age! Next time, we are ordering two different pizzas but still both with the cheesy stuffed crust. The guy that completed my order was friendly and kind. Eri(y)k was attentive on the phone and got our order exactly right! He was very well spoken and professionally mannered. For a pizza chain I would say it's pretty tasty and decent. Lots of topping options and even choices for the type of crust. Prices are very reasonable. Have I had better pizza, heck yes, I lived in Italy, but bang for your buck the Dominoes location we go to is clean and friendly with a decent pie. read more

Over 2 hours...to deliver a pizza just 6 blocks away. According to the online "tracker" they made the pizza, then it sat for over 45 minutes. I called. They apologized. They made it again, and again it sat for over 45 minutes. I should have just cancelled or picked it up after the first round of excuses. Yeah, they'll give you credits, etc. But how about just delivering on time? Giving things away for free because you can't deliver timely orders is not a sustainable business model. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE! I ordered two pies for delivery on a Sunday at 2pm (not during football season) and it took them 85 minutes to be delivered to a location 2 miles away. When they showed up for delivery they did not have the standard credit card slip for me to tip/sign for card authorization. The driver said, "here you can add a tip and sign this if you like" gesturing towards the order number sticker she tore off the pizza box for her record apparently since she had no credit card charge receipt. I politely said no I wouldn't be tipping due to the amount of time delivery took. I kept an eye on the amount my card was actually charged with my bank. Turns out, when the charge posted, the driver took the liberty of tipping herself $4!!! Then when I call them about the charge, some "assistant manager" named Katrina hung up on me trying to transfer my call. When I call back, no apology, no offer of compensation, matter of fact she sounded irritated that i was bothering her with this! Don't trust this place and if u order from them be sure to verify what amount they actually charged your card! read more

Wife ordered online, we live about 5 minutes away from the location. The place we are renting has a weird doorbell that is hard to hear so we asked they call us as special directions online. Within about 20 minutes, we get a call, guy shows up, and delivers the food. Great quick service on a Monday night. We ordered a sandwich, pasta, and wings. The sandwich and pasta were surprisingly good. The regular buffalo wings were a disappointment, but we really liked the mango habanero, a little tangy, with a nicer crisp on the wings. So next time we'll skip the normal wings and go for the mango ones. read more

This is painful to watch over and over. I work in a Newport hotel on weekends. Every weekend it's the same thing with this Dominos. People wait and wait for deliveries that don't show up or are much later than the quoted time. Tonight I watched a group wait for over 3 hours for their pizzas. I listened as they called and were told it "wasn't our fault " when these people call to complain. This Dominos is obviously overwhelmed on weekends. It's always the same. I've stopped recommending them to anyone who asks. Would it be so hard to say "we're not accepting delivery orders at this time ?" They might be surprised by the reaction to a little honesty. This is at least the third Domino's location that I have reviewed. This review won't be much different from the others, and that is a good thing. Consistency is a great thing. I'm a fan. Their online ordering system is the best I have encountered so far, whether it is for a specific restaurant or a delivery service type of organization. The food is exactly what you would expect out of a Domino's. It is a good pizza at a great price delivered quickly. Yeah, it is not exactly gourmet pizza, but there are other places for that where you will pay at least double, if not triple. I have been there, I've probably reviewed them as well. However, for a consistently good pizza at a great price, this does not disappoint. It doesn't matter what part of the country I am in, if I order from Domino's, I know that the only variation will be what I order. The delivery drivers are always friendly and deliver within the window listed online, even during less than awesome weather or sporting events. read more

I went for the carry-out option, since I am fat and I can't afford to wait long for food (then my body starts to eat the stores which I have worked so hard to pack away). Overall a decent pizza, lots of toppings. Only reservation was when I saw an employee (not wearing gloves) tossing dough and then cough (without covering her mouth) then continue tossing dough. Then she came and took my money, dropped a penny and picked it off the floor, and handed it to me. What do you suppose the chances are that she washed or sanitized her hands? I don't know!!! Once I go to the store I waited over ten minutes before being waited on. The pizza was ready according to the tracker in the store and paid for yet there was no one there to hand me the pizza. One worker making pizza and one assisting while a third was outside on the phone and smoking and no where to be found to help these poor two who were drowning in work. The phones are ringing off the hook, and you're loosing business. Not a great experience of coming to pick my pizza up rather than wait for delivery and then standing in the lobby for over 10 minutes without being waited on it's unacceptable. And now there's another customer behind me waiting on his pizza which is ready as well but with zero help. Won't return. Doesn't seem like new management is doing anything. read more

As regular visitors to Newport we have a kinda routine of what we love me to do, hit the casino and eat dominos. As someone who is now a fan of dominos this location is the reason why. I know your saying ohh there just a large chain and it's just not that good, but in fact it is. We get the hand tossed pepperoni and cinnamon knots and they are both awesome !!! We could not ask for a better slice of pizza. It is always fresh and always baked up quick. And it's only 2 minutes down the street from the hotel we stayed at so delivery or pick up is pretty painless. The location is clean, busy and heavily staffed. After almost an hour, 6 pm, , called for delivery status - We have no order for that phone number and asked for address again, which is a mile away. Answer: Oh we don't deliver to that address - well for years they did! WTH? So they take your order, don't tell you they don't deliver and you sit and wait for a dinner that will never arrive. Had to reorder from the 1391 West Main Dominos - the manager there was great when I relayed the story, went there for pick up and gave us the order for no charge!
