I have to say I've had better. The chicken was good. It did stay crispy on my travels to my home. The customer service was good. The space availability in the store was good. Everything about this place is just good. It meets standards of good fast food chicken. Nothing spectacular about it. That is why I'm giving the three stars. Although I ordered two different flavors of chicken they both taste exactly the same. The prices were reasonable for the economy that we are living in, so I won't complain about that. This place is just average. Happy Yelping!

Spotted this as I was about to enter Allen/Houston subway... popped in to try - very good! Super crispy, clean place - only 3 tables inside, but you could always eat in the park across the street too. I had a 10-piece crispy - incredibly crunchy, hot and cooked perfectly. Not dried out at all. Nice touch providing gloves for a less messy meal. No finger licking though - haha. Service was polite and he helped me with a to go box.

I love tteokbokki and my friend I found this spot! The service was super friendly, and the tteokbokki was freshly made! Very affordable pricing as well. Cheese Tteokbokki: was savory and a good amount of spicy! Tteok was nice and chewy, I loved the soft consistency. I can't wait to try the chicken options they have next time. 15 min wait time

Good price for Korean fried chicken! I had a large soy garlic boneless, and I think it's perfect to share for two people (20 pieces). The chicken was very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and they are pretty big pieces. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. It feels very casual inside, with a few tables in a small space. Great for takeout.

Don Chicken is located right off the 2 Ave stop of the F train in the Lower East Side. This is a small restaurant with 3 tables and no public restrooms. I tried the large soy garlic flavored korean fried chicken which costs $29.95 not including tax. The restaurant charges the same price for credit card and cash payments. The fried chicken tastes good, but it tastes more like Kentucky fried chicken gently covered with soy garlic sauce.

Very excited that Don Chicken has a Manhattan location now; previously had them in Jersey and am honestly kind of obsessed with their chicken- it's better than Bonchon for me. Ordered the lunch special for delivery- cheese snowing wings, fries, and a Diet Coke. Food came really fast and piping hot- the container has holes that allow venting to keep the chicken crisp. Excellent portion size- chicken was crispy and tasty. I feel like not enough people know about the wonders of Don Chicken.

A great place for Korean fried chicken. Though it has a small interior, Don Chicken has some great food. My friends and I shared the Soy Garlic wings and Cheese Snowing wings -- the wings were super flavorful and the texture was very crispy! We also ordered a tteokbokki, which was good. For the price and portion, I would say it's pretty solid. Overall, this is a casual restaurant that is worth checking out!

This is a solid Korean Fried Chicken spot in LES. The wings are crispy and cooked fresh. The soy garlic is the perfect balance of sweet n savory. The sweet & spicy has more of a thick sauce and has the perfect blend of both flavors. The sweet potato fries were fresh & crispy and tasted really good. The mozzarella sticks were okay I didn't have the same experience as the other items in terms of the crisp. No cheese pull :(. The place is small but they bring out the food fast so service is on point. The guy at the register was definitely friendly and gave suggestions thanks to him.

Tiny Korean chicken spot with two tables and a simple menu. I tried: - Large (20 pc) spicy soy garlic boneless wings ($29.95) - Small (10 pc) sweet and spicy wings ($15.95) The spicy soy garlic was too spicy for me but fine for others. The outside was crispy and thickly coated, but the chicken was a little dry. The sweet and spicy wings had a lot of sweet sauce, but I wish the chicken was a little juicier. Good chicken, but I wouldn't return. Too small for dine in. Best for takeout.

Now hold up. Where did this chicken franchise come from lol? I love me some soy garlic (Korean) chicken. We know of Bon chon and a spot that I like Wooga in nyc of course. But man, this chicken right here was soooo good. I definitely couldn't stop eating them and wanted more. They are nice and crispy and the sauce is definitely on them the way I like. Every part of the chicken coated. The shrimp was also good and fresh I also had their fries and it's good as well. If you get the sugar on top of the fries be ready it's quite overbearing. The customer service was great, I was standing outside and he brought my order to me. Definitely on point 10/10. Inside is small but clean and welcoming. I'm telling you chicken is really good that i went back the next day lol. I will be back..

For all those who know and love Don Chicken, this is their first Manhattan location, located near the East Village. Great food, the chicken delivers as always. I've always wondered what the meaning behind "Ppurings" was - but it's basically like a powdered seasoning with a hint of sweetness to it. This time I also picked up a Bulgogi Kimbap, but portion size seemed a bit small tbh. Not sure what was going on there.

The effortless tranquility encourages you to slow down, enjoy the food, and get away from the everyday, hubbub. Their menu leans into fusion dishes with a nod to some of the classic home-style classics. Everything is presented with a refined, elevated touch. Here's what we ordered: ~ Tako Wasabi - 5/5 stars A fiery delight. This appetizer feartures chopped raw octopus marinated in wasabi. It has a lively zest from the wasabi and is topped with tobiko, which adds a pleasant contrast in texture. ~ Honey Makgeolli - 4/5 stars A traditional fermented Korean beverage that is light and pairs brilliantly with your meal. It is a cloudy alcholoic drink served in a metal teapot, and surprisingly, there is much more in that teapot than you would expect. It easily provides six to eight generous pours. The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Needless to say, we will be back!

When we pulled up to the restaurant, we were informed there were a few levels. We went to the second floor and they were happy to accommodate us. We were rolling 6 deep and the booth was enough for us, but barely. In our party, majority of us wanted meat with the exception of 2 people only wanting shrimp and something else. We got the large beef combination platter which comes with ribeye, thin skirt, brisket, marinated kalbi, and marinated chuck flap. Most people stuck with water, while a couple got ginger ale. I ordered the soju flight but I ended up not liking it so my cousins shared it. The meal comes with different veggies as well as your choice of soup. We got the spicy tofu and split it 6 ways. The spice lived up to its name, so I didn't eat very much. The best part was meat. Despite there being 6 of us, there was plenty to go around. I think you have the option to cook it yourself or have them cook it for you and we chose the latter. While I enjoyed it, I wish there was more space. Most of the space was taken up by the accompaniments that come with it (veggies, etc), so there was hardly any room to put anything else. It didn't help that none of our dishes were cleared once we finished them and that no rice is included. Aside from that, both the food and service were great.

The moment we sat down, we were welcomed with a beautiful spread of Korean appetizers -- a full Banchan assortment that set the tone for the rest of the meal. Every small dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, giving us a perfect introduction to the restaurant's attention to detail. We ordered the shrimp and chive pancake, which arrived crisp on the outside and tender inside, and the japchae -- easily one of the best versions we've ever had. The noodles were perfectly cooked, glossy, and packed with vegetables and savory depth. For the main course, we enjoyed an assortment of premium beef cuts: * Skirt steak * Ribeye steak * Deboned short ribs Each cut was incredibly marbled, fresh, and full of flavor. A huge part of what made the meal exceptional was our server, Caleb. He was attentive, warm, and knowledgeable -- the kind of service that elevates the entire dining experience. He cooked every cut of meat for us with precision, explained each dish in detail, and made sure we enjoyed everything at its absolute best. The meal also included a comforting soybean paste stew served with rice -- rich, savory, and the perfect complement to the grilled meats. To finish, we were served a refreshing dessert: vanilla soft‑serve topped with bright orange bits. Light, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending after such a flavorful meal. --- Overall Impression Nubiani delivers a perfect blend of ambiance, quality ingredients, and exceptional service. From the appetizers to the grilled meats to the final dessert, every part of the experience felt thoughtful and elevated. Caleb's hospitality made the night even more memorable. But there's no denying that BCD has upped their soondubu game considerably in the last decade+ with a thicker, more deeply flavored broth, and now easily rivals my longtime favorite and gold standard, the OG So Kong Dong in Fort Lee. Then I stumbled into a hack that changed my view: lunch! I ducked in for a late lunch on a whim while walking by one day, and this turned out to be a much chiller hour, unhurried and no reservation needed. I was promptly seated, my order taken, and the banchan swiftly laid out. The banchan spread is solid across the board (the little fried fish does nothing for me, but seems to be a highlight for everyone else). I especially love the kimchi, near-perfect IMO, and the pickled cucumber. There's a modest lunch discount, which is a nice bonus for someone who likes to order aggressively. I usually get an oyster, seafood, or assorted soondubu (with a raw egg cracked in), danger spicy of course! Or go the C1 combo route with a galbi (marinated bbq beef short ribs) + smaller soondubu. It's an enormous amount of food, so I take most of the galbi home and feel no shame about it. The galbi, by the way, has also gotten noticeably better over the years - meatier, tender, and the flavor is on point. I've also enjoyed their bibimbap, bulgogi, jap chae, and seafood pancake. Finally, let's talk heat - this chili-head loooves fire! And BCD's danger level is one of the rare instances where the spice level actually meets my punishing tolerance for heat, not some pretense at "American spicy.," despite this being a chain. Their danger level actually means business and brings tears to my eyes, literally. It's still not my favorite place ambience wise, and dinner remains a contact sport I've mostly opted out of, as gone are the days that I can tolerate a culinary mosh pit, and any wait longer than 10 minutes (and only for a superlative place) will trigger an automatic ejection of my presence. But for lunch? Unexpectedly great. 4 stars for dinner, 5 for lunch.
