Excellent service, server said she was from Columbia but I didn't get her name! She was lovely and attentive. We got the whole chicken for 3 of us came with fries and salad easily could feed 4 people! So fun to watch the Mexico game there!

Super delicious Peruvian food! There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The inside feels casual and homey, while the outdoor seating is charming and has a lively atmosphere. I ordered the aji de gallina, and it was so creamy and tasty. The portion sizes are pretty big too, so I had plenty of leftovers to take home. Even though there are plenty of tables, I'd still recommend getting a reservation. We went around 6:30 on a Saturday, and it was quite busy. Looking forward to coming back to try more menu items!

Great little spot! You order at the bar, bus your own table, and rhe staff brings the food to you.it was a very pleasant evening so we sat outside in the lovely patio area. Very casual and cozy! Everyone was very friendly and nice. The food was wonderful! The pasta was creamy, rich, and flavorful. The steak was tender and juicy, perfectly cooked for the dish. I do wish there'd been more tomatoes instead of more onions but no big deal at all, just a personal preference. My friend had one of the sandwich and enjoyed hers as well. Definitely worth checking out

I have visited Don Luchos several times and food is always amazing, the lomo is delicious and always cooked to perfection. And ceviches are extremely fresh and full of taste that makes you feel you're in the Caribbean. Got to give it to them, the rice is just as good as my grandmas. I appreciate the music not being too loud but still nice enough to create an enjoyable ambiance. I love the outdoor area where they sometime have someone performing some music.

Don Lucho's is hands down one of my favorite Peruvian spots in Seattle. The food is full of flavor, made with so much care, and every bite tastes like home. The service is always welcoming and the atmosphere makes you want to stay forever. If you love authentic Peruvian food, this place is a must. I'll keep coming back every chance I get

When I say... these are the best "fish and chips" I've ever had. My 6 year old ate half of them before I got my camera out, and my teen who is not easily impressed was amazed "they're moist, flaky, crunchy... and the tarter is the best in Seattle" 10/10 ... not pictured.... Chicharron sandwich and a side of yuka fries because how could you not?!

What a cute place with plenty of outdoor seating. The chicarron sandwich was pretty good: the bread toasty, the sweet potato an earthy addition, the pork crispy but not too oily. I wish there was a bit more acid, something pickled maybe and I needed more salt. Every sandwich has a good sauce and I can't remember if there was one.

Went to Don Lucho's to check out their brunch on a Saturday afternoon. There were plenty of tables so we were seated right away. I will say the worst part of the experience was trying to figure out where we were supposed to go when we arrived. The door isn't in the front of the building, so we parked out back, but all the entrances to the patio and building were chained off. There wasn't anyone outside and we almost left thinking they were closed. They should really take down the chains during business hours, or have a sign to instruct people to go inside. For brunch I ordered the Don Lucho's Eggs Benedict and my husband picked the Choripan with a side of fries. Both came out within 20 minutes or so. They were deeeelicious! Loved their spin on a Benedict with Peruvian ham and the hollandaise sauce was perfect. Staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Again, just wish their setup outside was easier to navigate. We'll be back again soon!

Is the outdoor seating area dog-friendly?

    Yes it is!

    Are there good vegan options?

They have some vegan options though I don't know if the sauces are I would call and check. I don't know what you consider good, we all have different tastes

Do they allow dogs on the patio?

    Yes

So I thought you had coffe here?

Yes, they serve coffee. I confirmed this via a telephone call.

Does the Mapleleaf location have menu items other than the sandwiches listed on the website? I'm thinking fries or the quesadilla the food truck had on occasion? I want to feed my toddler too and I'm desperate to go here! :-)

Yes, they have appetizers such as french fries, yucca fries, fried plantains, salchipapa (fries mixed with a fried thin sliced beef/pork sausage link, fried egg, and plantains), Peruvian chicken wings, empanada, and canchita (fried Peruvian corn). I…

got the Notorious PIG sandwich and the Buttermilk Biscuit while I was here…read more Starting with the sandwich, there were a ton of things to love about this The very first thing I noticed was how all-time crispy the pork belly was. Interestingly, the meat came in two separate pieces, arranges somewhat like an X or a cross in the middle of the sandwich. This certainly wasn't the eating experience of a typical sandwich with a circular meat patty, and I appreciate the creativity here. The meat was insanely crunchy, oily, and quite plentiful. Each bite felt a bit like you were biting into a crunchy churro, but without the sweetness. I did think the outside of the pork did overpower the inside, though, as I didn't taste the meat or the fat inside much, and due to the amount of breading the pieces ended up being a bit chewy The bun was quite good as well - it was pretty soft, fluffy, and served as a really good bookend to all the ingredients inside. I thought the lettuce and onions also were good. I don't know if I'm a fan of the jelly on the sandwich - but again, I do like the creativity. What did shine here was the aioli, however. In a lot of places, you don't really taste the aioli on a burger - but that flavor was ever-present on this sandwich, and it was really fantastic. The absolute best part of the meal, by far, though, was the biscuit I have to start with how huge this is. This is certainly not the size of a typical Southern-style buttermilk biscuit - rather this biscuit makes no apologies in its effort to stand out from the crowd. Absolutely nobody would mistake this for a traditional biscuit - on the contrary, I think on first glance most people would assume this isn't a biscuit at all. It's shaped more like a massive pastry. I hesitate to say that looks are deceiving, because it does look great, but its taste manages to elevate past that. This was SO good. The edges are baked perfectly - they're oily, crispy, crunchy, and perfectly flaky. All four sides provide an amazing base - like the walls of a fortress that surround the soft, tender interior of the biscuit. You can see the different layers from the outside as well. When it comes to the inside, there was so much to get through but every bite was heavenly. So much credit here goes to the honey butter - which when spread onto the biscuit, raises the taste level of the entire thing. I put so much honey butter on mine that I nearly finished the whole thing. When it came to the jam, it was good, but since it didn't combine great with the honey butter I mostly ended up just using the latter This place was expensive - around 16 dollars for the sandwich and 8 for the biscuit - however, I was quite full at the end
