I found an adorable car that I LOVED for sale at MJM Auto in Gloucester MA, a little ways away from me but worth the drive for the car. I instantly called the dealer to make sure it was still available and let them know I was interested in it. I got connected to a guy named Michael who sounded like he was on a cell phone, but he was very nice and informative about what I wanted to know. We agreed that I wouldn't go down there until I was buying the car, because of the distance. So I filled out forms online to check credit and stuff like that. I waited 5 days for an email saying whether my forms went through. I emailed him maybe twice during that period asking for an update: I got nothing. Then I got an email from him finally that was simple: it said I didn't have enough credit to get the car. So I emailed back right away and told him I would work on getting a loan. No response for a week and a half. He would not respond to emails, calls, voicemails. Nothing. I went online to look at the listing for the car and it was one. I figured that he took it off because I was about to buy it, no big deal. Another week of silence. I heard nothing from Michael. He would not answer the phone or emails. Finally I got an email back: sorry, the car has been sold. What?! The worst service I have ever encountered by anyone, especially by someone who should have been selling me a car. If you find a car from here that you like, good luck! He might sell it in between emails!

Had a routine oil change on 4/13/26 only to find several days later that my car was leaking oil (took about 10 days before the warning light came on) due to being stuck out of town I was unable to get it back to them until Friday afternoon 4/24. I was told that the oil plug was stripped (due to being over tightened during the last change) and that they wouldn't be able to take care of this until monday, they would either have to fit an oversized plug or replace the entire pan. The pan replacement was likely to cost me at least $1000. For a part that they broke during my oil change. I was also given a hard time about taking a loaner car, as it's their policy not to lend one out unless I agreed to any service that was needed. As I didn't have a choice (I had to get to work) I said yes. I won't even get into the quality of the loaner car. I called first thing in the morning on Monday after looking into possible options for repair myself over the weekend only to be told that it was done and I should come and get it. They fitted an oversized plug and it was done. Well, it wasn't done. My car was leaking oil immediately after getting it home. faster than before. And as I had already been burned twice by FCC's less than quality work I took it to the dealership, who sent me a video of the oil leaking from their "fix". And the pan had been drilled out so poorly to place the oversized plug that the dealership was unable to salvage the pan.

I've been going to them since 1979 without issue, and if they should make a mistake thet always…read moremake good on it. I would not go anywhere else for general maintenance, tires, brakes Etc.. Bill S.
