Halal Meats are marinated for 3 days and cooked to perfection! They have done a great job creating a comfortable environment to eat in or take out. I have been looking for a Turkish food spot that reminds me of the food back home in Turkey, and Doner Corner was exactly what I was looking for. The service was amazing and the food was even better. I tried the Doner over rice and the baklava, and it was the best Doner I have had outside of Turkey. It had that authentic taste you can't find anywhere else. The staff were very friendly and everything came out quickly. I live an hour away, but it was absolutely worth the drive. Best Iskender in town! I visited almost every Turkish restaurant in Los Angeles/Orange County Area and hands down, Doner Corner, has the best Iskender I have ever tried! I visited this location with my brother and also tried their pide with sucuk & cheese as well as their lahmacun. Everything was done perfectly and we felt like we were back home due to the quality of the food. The staff was very friendly and did a great job representing the Turkish hospitality. I happened upon this gem of a restaurant on Christmas Day, just a week or so after opening day. Not only was the food exceptional, but so was the service! I was immediately treated to a glass of Turkish tea and a taste of their sinfully delicious baklava square. From that point on, I was certain I wouldn't regret the experience. If there was below 1 star I would give it to them. First of all, the food doesn't taste good. We ordered 2 Doner Sandwich and 1 half Doner Sandwich. The meat was very dry and sandwich bread is over toasted. Second of all, the staff is very rude. They put the Turkish black tea at the corner on top of steamer. We asked something hot, and they said they have tea at the corner. I went there to take a cup of tea and poured from the kettle. It seamed very strong to me. I thought I poured from the strongest tea they have and went there again to try the other one. The other teas were the same as the first one. And one of the rude stuff approached to me and asked "Sir, do you now how to drink tea?". I was shocked first by her face gesture and the question. I replied "yes, what is wrong". She explained to me that they pour little bit a black tea and then pour hot water. Actually , it was very rude way to explain like that. She would better say "Sir, do you want me to show how to make Turkish tea?" This is more polite way to ask. I got little angry and told her better to place explanations on the top. She replied "Oh, we only have Turkish customers and they know to do it". I was shocked again. This seemed to me that this place they opened only for Turkish people. Very discriminative saying that towards others. So, when other people come and try their food then they actually don't know what kind of tea they have. Basically, I don't recommend this place. I will never go there again. This place will bankrupt very soon if they won't change their stuff. read more

I was there too and honestly, the size was nothing like what they showed. This is straight-up false advertising. With the crazy prices they're charging, it's a total scam. They're just fooling people and wasting everyone's time -- making us drive all that way just to get something that's nowhere near what they promised. I ordered the wrap too, and it was tiny, super thin, not fresh at all, and way overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's just not right to mislead people like that.
