I truly can't believe it's taken me this long to write this review!! Doner Corner is hands down the best Turkish food in LA. The doner here is unbelievably fresh. The iskender is so goood and they come to your table sometimes to drop butter on your plate (iykyk). It's my go-to order every single time but husband and I also always order 3 entrees. Doner sandwich, doner plate, lahmacun, and pide... are all so good. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We come here at least once a week, that's how much we love it. Consistently delicious, comforting, and so satisfying every single visit. If you're looking for the best Turkish food in LA, this is it. Cannot recommend enough.

Been searching for authentic Turkish doner (perfect blend of lamb and beef) in SoCal for quite sometime. So happy to have found DC. The doner is tender, juicy and flavorful. Really don't need much sauce or anything to dress it up. Enjoyed the doner plate with tomatoes and onions. The creamy baba ghanoush was also tasty.

Been here multiple times since they first opened but must say they are doing a much better job with Shawarma/Gyro. It was delicious and very well done compare to before. Service was very good. We appreciated to see clean tables free of piles of plates and dirty napkins left on other tables while we dine, which I really don't like. They definitely improved. I highly recommend you try this place.

I think I would've missed the spot, but I came here with a Turkish friend and I'm really glad I discovered this place. we came here as a group because one of my friends celebrate Ramadan and, I loved the special they were serving during that time! it was a great way for me to sample a variety of foods I had never had before. I recently was in the area and I stopped by again. we had the donor plate and the lahmajun-which is my personal favorite, which taste like a very delicious slightly more exotic flatbread.. it seems like a small operation, but everybody that works there is very efficient. I love supporting small businesses. LA is overfilled with trendy restaurants, I am so happy that little hole in the wall restaurants like this exist. With great service and excellent food. definitely stop by and try!

First time having Lahmajun, and it didn't disappoint! it was crispy, soft, fragrant and fresh! The quick squeeze of the lemon made a huge difference and complimented the lahmajun. My friends also enjoyed their food. Portions were pretty huge, and imo , shareable. The service was also great. They were so friendly and helpful. Parking can be found on the streets.

Great food, cute location! Out of all the Turkish restaurants in LA, this is currently one of the best. It's got a clean, neat environment with an open kitchen. You order at the register, and the food comes to your table. Plenty of seating. Service was really fast, even though we went at a super crowded time. They make everything from scratch, including their pita, which is a huge plus. I tried the Iskender, sujuk & cheese pide, lahmacun, çiğ köfte, and homemade ayran. My favorites were the sujuk & cheese pide and the lahmacun. The Iskender was good too. Their döner meat is really tasty and thinly sliced, but I felt like it needed to cook a little more. Prices are decent. Overall, very much recommended!

The staff wearing uniform corporate outfits reminded me of the kind of business owners in Turkey who really take pride in their work. The beef döner was very delicious, and it was cooked exactly the way I like it. I had mine in sandwich bread, and I definitely recommend trying it this way. The round, sesame-coated bread was the perfect size and very tasty. I'm not sure how they make it here, but since I've gotten tired of places that cook raw tortillas and use them as lavash, I usually hesitate to order anything with lavash. However, the sandwich bread I had here was amazing. The portions were filling, and the prices weren't too high in my opinion--it was around 23 with ayran, if I remember correctly.

I just happened to walk into this place cause I live around the corner and I was so excited to learn it was an authentic Turkish restaurant! I was just in Turkey in October 2025 and when I walked in I felt like I was back there! The atmosphere was so inviting and felt like we were sitting in a restaurant filled with family and friends. The food was exactly what I had in Turkey and was incredibly good! We ordered the Doner Iskender and the Lahmajun. The service was wonderful and the owner Mehmet was so kind. We had a wonderful conversation and he gave me and my sister complimentary tea and Güllaç! I look forward to going back!

We went here for dinner and the experience was very disappointing, mainly due to poor service and lack of professionalism. There were three staff members working (an older man and two young women), yet basic customer care was missing. We were seated as two guests but only one set of utensils was brought to the table. When we asked for another, the staff seemed distracted and were laughing among themselves instead of addressing the request properly. Later, when I asked for extra parsley, the server attempted to take food directly from our plate at the table instead of bringing a small side plate, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. Despite leaving a good tip, the level of service never improved. There was no attentiveness, no courtesy, and no sense of experience. As for the food, we ordered lahmacun. For a meat-based dish, it lacked flavor and had very little meat--mostly peppers--making it unbalanced and disappointing. Overall, this place failed both in service and food quality. I won't be returning and would not recommend it to others.

First time trying Turkish food like this. Close to work with quick service - much needed combo when you're on a time crunch. They have a variety of dishes to choose from Soups, salads, pides, doner plates and DESSERTS. It's a little on the pricey side for a quick bite but the portions are big and make up for it (enough to take home for another meal). Will be back- 7 out of 10 for me.

Thanks for the feedback. I have been to Turkey and any restaurant serving the tiny amount of meat I received would be out of business. I suggest you look at the portions served in your restaurant as there is obviously inconsistency rather than saying "that's how we do it in Turkey" which is shorthand for lazy management. read more

I've been here 4 times, and yes the diner is very good. BUT, without fail, every damn time, these people either don't make the food or make it and then don't notify me when it's ready and it just sits. The whole point of sober is that it's readily carved off the block and should be ready to serve within a couple minutes. These guys have 3-4 people I. The kitchen and at least two servers and somehow can never figure it out. The meats so good I keep coming back, but they really need to serve the food to you while it's still hot. read more

I honestly got emotional after eating the doner here almost brought me to tears. Some meals just fill your stomach, but others... they touch your soul. This was one of those. If you haven't been back to Turkey in a while, this place will take you there in one bite. The doner was juicy and full of flavor, perfectly paired with the rice and the fresh salad on the side. The food was okay, but for the price? Not worth it. $30 for the iskender kebab??? really? It says its "soaked in lamb fat" but it tastes chewy and wet like beef jerky. I'm sorry but you cannot be charging those prices. I REALLLLLY wanted to like it. I will say, however, the staff is very nice and the guy running the shop is very polite and accomodating. Seeing all the turkish staff eat breakfast and break bread together was unique. read more

We were so excited when a new restaurant popped up in our neighborhood. Just a short walk from our home, we were welcomed as we walked in and treated like family. When you want a casual dinner , but not fast food. Fresh ingredients and good quality Turkish foods. We were delighted! We will be back again and again. This place was a much needed Turkish döner spot! It took away my homesickness right away. I have tried the İskender kebab, döner over rice, and döner wrap so far, and all were incredibly impressive. My 1st time, boyfriend's idea, he's a foodie. So delicious! Not busy when we arrived, we sat in the comfy booths in the back. Service was nice and they checked up on us :) We ordered doner iskender, diced meat and cheese pide, and kunefe. Everything came out hot and so good! The kunefe was AMAZING. Definitely recommend. Drove by this place yesterday and decided to stop by today to try it out. The girl running the orders and expediting was on her phone and didn't see me until one of the cooks rang the service bell to wake her up from her scrolling. Placed order and sat and watched her sneeze into her hand and continue to expedite orders and fill water glasses without washing. Then one of the gloved cooks took out his wallet to get change from the expediter without removing the gloves. After receiving his changed money he continued to making food. Neither one washed their hands. Food came, I ate. It was bland. Hard to enjoy a meal when just basic food safety is completely ignored and in the open. I was hoping for something epic to have and enjoy now and in the future instead I got visions of typhoid Mary. I don't like making reviews like this but for FS know better when it comes to cross contamination. read more

Turkish food in LA is very subpar, but this place is one of the best Döner's and Lahmajun's I had worldwide. Excellent fresh bread. As a European white yogurt sauce would be a nice addition to make it into a Berlin Döner. read more

I tried the doner wrap with 1.5Xthe portion, for which you pay extra. It was the smallest wrap I have ever seen. I cant imagine how small the regular portion would have been. The service is slow . Ambience is casual. Felt ripped off to be honest. read more

The Slowest "Fast" Food Experience A waiter bumped into my girlfriend without even acknowledging it--no apology, nothing. We waited 30 minutes for a simple doner plate. When we finally asked about our order, they only then started preparing it. The table next to us had an even worse experience--they ordered a salad, but the staff completely forgot to bring it. When they complained about the slow service, the restaurant made excuses, blaming them for ordering the "wrong way" and supposedly losing their priority. read more

Every side dish here is absolutely delicious and authentic. The vegetables and salads are fresh, and the doner over rice is wonderfully flavorful. The desserts need no explanation, the kunefe is perfectly made and pairs beautifully with the best Turkish tea I've ever had. Honestly, it's even better than what I experienced in Istanbul! I've been watching this place come into its own over the last couple of months. The Döner is delicious and authentic here. Flatbreads are made in house. Halal Meats are marinated for 3 days and cooked to perfection! They have done a great job creating a comfortable environment to eat in or take out. The staff is super friendly and the Turkish coffee will light you up. read more
