Great food. We will be back. Free parking in front of the restaurant. We got there on a cloudy day around 6PM. The restaurant was completely packed; there was a short wait. We could see the food coming out of the kitchen, this made it harder for us to decide on what to order. So many things looked (and smelled) delicious. We started off enjoying the salads that came with the pasta meals. We shared the Pasta with snails, the lasagna, a spinach pizza, and an order of zeppole

I am very happy to have eaten at this restaurant. The food was excellent. I ordered a lunch special but my friend Andrea told me they entree is the same size as the dinner portion. I did miss a salad. However, there was more than enough food to eat. So much I took home quite a bit. My chicken parmesan was so delicious. The sauce was very flavorful and the cheese was outstanding. I really enjoyed the rigatoni with fresh marinara sauce. It had some garlic but was not too much for me. They use the same sauce for the chicken parmesan and the rigatoni. Everything is fresh. The garlic bread was also very good. We ordered zeppoles for dessert. I really liked these because they were not overly sweet. We were given a huge portion. Sarah, one of the owners is pleasant and accommodating. This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Even if you don't live nearby, I recommend coming here because the food is that good.

Wow! This restaurant is so, so delicious. I came here with Andrea B and Nola F for lunch today. We had a great time!! I had heard good things about this restaurant plus Andrea said it was good. So we had to go. I knew I wanted the chicken marsala in advance based off the pictures from others on Yelp. Andrea ordered it too and we both loved it! The sauce is truly incredible. They gave so much chicken. The side of pasta was good, but could have used more sauce. I absolutely loved Mom (Nola's) side of pasta. The sauce is homemade and was delectable. I will be thinking of that pasta for a while. I also took some bites of her chicken parm. This was very good but I prefer my chicken marsala. But I prefer her pasta. But the flavors don't really go together. Confusing... The side salad was good. The balsamic dressing was delicious, but there wasn't much of it. The salad was also kind of small. However, I absolutely love salads and cannot eat enough of them so maybe I am a bad judge. The bread that was for the table, ot maybe just Andrea and I was forgettable. It was somewhat burned and did not have much flavor. We ordered zeppoles and Sarah brought about 1,000 of them haha..and I think I ate about half.:( They are so, so good. Highly recommend this restaurant. I need to come back soon.

We've been here many times but hadn't visited in a while, so it was great to be back. I ordered the chicken hoagie (no cheese) along with a side of rigatoni and sauce--everything was so good and full of flavor. One of the best parts of coming here is how welcoming the owners always are. Donna served us, and Philippe was in the kitchen cooking. They truly make you feel at home. The restaurant has been redecorated since my last visit, with cute Italian pictures and nice music that adds to the cozy atmosphere. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and we'll definitely be back.

An amazing new place in Davie that everyone needs to learn about. This family owned mom, pop and son restaurant is the former Jersey John's. French owned Italian food that has some fusion was something I didn't know I loved until I ate here. I will say, getting the bad out of the way first, is something I need to do. The wait times here are insane, it will take you some time to get food and your order because everything is cooked by one or two people, the husband and someone else. The bread that is delivered to the table was phenomenal and the cheese was heavenly as well. The bread had a nice crunch to it and was still soft on the inside. We ordered the calamari and I have never had such a flavorful dish. The breading was wonderful with the right amount of crunch to it and the homemade marinara sauce was divine as well, without being to tomato forward. The garlic sticks appetizer was amazing and the amount of garlic on the bread was wonderful! For my main dish, I got the chicken francese. This was a homerun. I have never had better francese in my life! The lemon was superb and was the right amount of tanginess. It had a nice consistency to it and paired well with the chicken. The chicken was also very good and a generous portion! The pasta bed it came on also had much of the sauce on it which was amazing as well! I will say though the amount of time it took to get the food is something that may make or break this place for most people, but scratch made food, I was okay with it. If you come on a Friday or Saturday night, call ahead for reservations or you may not get it, that's how small and busy this place gets!

I couldn't wait to try this place after reading so much about it. So, my cousin-in-law and I went there for lunch. It's in a strip mall with plenty of parking. It's a very small eatery with lovely checkered tablecloths and great service. While I opted for the chicken marsala, my favorite non-dairy Italian dish, my cousin-in-law ordered the fettuccine Alfredo without meat. The latter was tasty and very cheesy. (I did try a small bite.) The lunch special came with a small, soft garlic loaf. My dinner entree came with a small salad (no raw onions please) with lettuce, raw peppers (had to pick them out), and tomatoes. The balsamic dressing was tasty but there was so little of it I was practically eating a dry salad. I guess I should have asked for more dressing. My entree came with three large pieces of what looked like chicken breast cutlet and it was laden with mushrooms. I was greeted with blandness after taking my first bite of the chicken. I had to ask for salt and pepper and was told by the server that they don't salt their food as she handed me a platter of spices. (It is easier to add salt than remove it.) The sauce on the marsala was good but looked very white. I was enjoying it until I asked the server if it contained milk. (I am lactose-intolerant.) "Oh no, " she said. Then added, "it's French style marsala made with cream." I had to stop eating my meal and took the rest home for my hubby. I have eaten marsala in a ton of places and different countries and I have never had it with cream. (Nor did I think I would have to note my lactose-intolerance when ordering it.) There is a big sign that says "Under New Management," so I don't know if the cuisine others were raving about was this French Italian one, or the prior owners. Unfortunately, for me, there isn't much left on their menu that I can eat if I can't have a lactose-free marsala meal. My dinner entree with tax and tip was a little more than $28. My cousin-in-law paid about $19 for her meatless lunch special, including tax and tip.

Hello everyone! Well I was in the area and decided to stop by again and I had a craving for some awesome Italian food and let me tell you that Donna Sarah never disappoints! You really cannot beat the quality of the food, excellent and courteous service they provide. Philippe and Sarah really do a great job of making you feel at home and you have to love Sal who is cooking up some awesome pizzas as well. Ambiance is awesome as well as the vibe of the restaurant really lends itself to kicking back, relaxing and enjoying your meal. Everything is very clean and from what I can tell the kitchen is spotless. On this occasion I had the Chicken Parmigiana lunch special again but I am pretty sure that the everything else on the menu has to be great as well. Will make a point of trying something new on my next visit. So if you are in the area feel free to check them out as I am sure you are going to enjoy the food and service. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and four stars. It's a very small place, and they were very accommodating. They let change our reservation from two people to four people at the last minute. The biggest problem with this place is the service. It's very slow. As for the food is enjoyed what I had. We started with some calamari, it was definitely different from other places. It seemed like it was cut into pieces of steak as opposed to rings and tentacles. It was good. I had lasagna, I enjoyed it. My friend had mushrooms soup and chicken marsela. He also really enjoyed both. His daughter just had pasta and really liked it. Now didn't like what she ordered. It was chicken parmesan ala vodka. She didn't like that ala vodka sauce. She said it was loaded with onions and very sweet. We skipped out on dessert.

Husband (Philippe) and wife (Sarah) from France recently took ownership of this pizzeria and was elated by their hospitality and cleanliness of the restaurant. They were diligently making and packaging several pizzas for delivery as we chatted. Sarah cut out an enormous slice of cheese pizza right from the oven. The slice was hot gooey cheesey and had just the right amount of garlic. They are currently running a superbowl meal deal: 3 pizzas 1 topping, 30 wings and 1 bottle of soda for $100.00 and will deliver in the immediate area. The bathroom was clean with wood panel flooring and white tile walls.

The hype is real. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Seriously the BEST chicken masala that I've ever had!!! The chicken parm was served from the pan hot out of the oven. The desserts looked amazing but we were too full to partake. Definitely next time. The service was impeccable and the owners introduced themselves to everyone. One downside is there is a surcharge for using a CC.

On our pre-Valentine dinner, my wife and I tried Donna Sarah and were so impressed. It is a quaint restaurant with outdoor seating. On this night in S.FL. It was perfect. As we walked through the restaurant all the dishes looked amazing. Especially the special, chicken parmigiana with Vodka sauce. The chef came out to greet us. We ordered the Chicken Parm special and a the carbonara. The chef comes out with the pan and plates right in front of you. Everyone who waited on us was extremely key pleasant and happy! We really enjoyed this local restaurant and highly recommend it. The prices were reasonable and the food was amazing.

Went here a few days ago for my nieces birthday. We were happy to know we could dine in and sat outside. All of the tables are pretty far from each other. We ordered a large half cheese half pineapple and mushrooms pizza, garlic knots and two salads and the chicken parmesean. The Cesar salad was amazing, the other garden salad was great too. Everything was amazing authentic and perfection. I may dream of those garlic twists. I don't think I could've asked for anything better. Wish we took pictures was too busy eating but definitely recommend. read more

Doesn't look lile much when you drive by. Just a little store front, quaint, and small. Don't let that fool you......This place is ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING. My wife is Italian and very very picky about here pizza. She makes sauce from scratch and Jersey Johns sauce is the first sauce that has ever given her sauce a run for its money. No. This place is just not it. Idk what happened, if they got new owners or what, but just no. I am writing this review maybe 30/45 minutes after purchasing and picking up the food. All we got was a chicken parm hogie and chicken francese. I think the chef got too hungry in the back and ate all of the chicken. Between both sandwiches I tried scavenging for the chicken on each half and combined it into ONE HALF OF THE SANDWICH. L O L. Total there is not even 4oz of chicken for the whole thing. Seriously I'm starving after. All I just ate was bread, cheese, and sauce. I won't even bother writing about the chicken francese because it was not tasty at all. Super bland, and the 1 chicken in the photo was the "best looking". The other 2 on top must've been leftovers from somewhere else because they were so small it was embarrassing. With the tip and those 2 things, it was $31 and change. Not only am I still hungry because of the non-existent chicken in the sub and I couldn't even eat the francese, I'll now go to Disalvos first for takeout or pickup before going here. Please, save your money. I get upset wasting mine and you shouldn't waste yours. Use this review to save your money. Thank you. read more

So delicious! I've been looking for a good pizza place and I finally found it. Because of Covid I've only done takeout from restaurants and from Jersey John's, my food arrives at my door so fresh and tasty and the delivery person as well as the girl that takes my order over the phone is always extremely friendly. Get the garlic twists - so good! And the white pizza? YUM! read more

Used to buy a pie from there once a week. Loved the Margarita. Last time we ordered, i took a bite only to hear the grit of sand and dirt. The arugula clearly wasn't washed. It was totally inedible which was a bummer because we were so hungry and looking forward to it! So, had to make the dreaded call to them. Wow. Rather than an apology, the girl who answered the phone told me I was imagining things, that she washed the arugula herself, and that is what arugula tastes like. Hu? She yelled at me. Hung up on me. And I kid you not, called back to yell some more. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode. Integrity doesn't appear to be their thang. But thanks for the great arugula story! Your customer service is so bad it was funny. read more

Sadly this place changed owners and not to good. Bread was still good but other than that everything took a turn for the worse. The whole meal became an ordeal of trying to get the orders right and even reached the point when I gave up. Before new owners this place was super now this place super mediocre. Besides the food being so so they kept messing things up. It took me 4 tries to get 2 bottles of ice for kids drinks, it took me 5 tries to a box for the bread to go. I finally gave up and used a plastic bag. The main course was not what I ordered, for the food to go I asked 5 times -'light sauce' and no sauce on pasta'. When I got home the meal had heavy sauce and the pasta had light sauce. I should have made and Abbot and Costello skit. Whose sauce is on pasta. read more

My family and neighbors stopped going there for almost 1 year and half because the food was very inconsistent, one day would be good and the next day would be awful but now it's under a NEW ownership and the food is actually really really good I mean this is the first time in years that I have tried such an amazing pizza... even the chicken nuggets and fries for the kids were so tasty and delicious. We went there 2 times in 2 weeks and so far so good and we probably will be going back for more because the food is great ! So give it a try.. will be worth it. read more

I have to say normally I don't write a review on takeout but I was so pleasantly surprised today. I had a craving for a good meatball sub called up jersey John's they delivered within 30 minutes one of the greatest examples of a fresh meat ball sub I've ever had. I also ordered the garlic sticks which were fantastic perfect texture plenty of garlic just the way I like it. I will definitely be back but this time plan to visit the restaurant for dinner with my family It's been a while since I wrote anything about Jersey John's. This is the fifth time I've been to this pizza joint. They have hands-down the best pizza within a 10 mile radius their pasta is excellent and the garlic twist are amazing I could not be more thankful that this pizza restaurant is within my delivery zone they are fantastic! read more

Ordered delivery and though it did take a bit of time, the sauce was soo tasty.. borderline sweet, but like you can taste the fresh tomatoes..The crust is nice and crunchy like it was fresh from the oven and the selection of ingredients was the traditional but they were quite generous in adding them if you ask me... The size of the pie is HUGE so come hungry or also it's a good idea to share, or you'll likely have left overs for days.. jaja.. read more

This review is based on their catering. I throw a lot of parties and use caterers often. I have several chafing dishes, and tend to use them for as long as the party goes for. This could be many hours. In most cases, by the end of the night, the food is very dried out. Chicken especially can be almost inedible. For the Mayweather/Mcgregor fight, I had about 30 people over to watch the fight. I ordered from my usual catering place as well as from Jersey Johns. The people devoured the Jersey Johns food. They loved the chicken marsala, meatballs, lasagna, wings and garlic bread. The food from the other place was hardly touched. Best of all, at the end of a very long evening, the chicken marsala was still incredibly moist. The meatballs were still tender. Everything tasted even better the next day. I highly recommend Jersey Johns for feeding large groups. The prices are very reasonable, the portion sizes are insanely large, and the quality is excellent. read more

I went to Jersey Johns the other night with my son. The owner Ryan greeted us. Right away you can see the place is very clean and it smells delicious when you walk in. I had the calamari appetizer, chicken parmigiana, and my son had a personal pizza. The food is amazing, I am definitely coming back. Also uncle Sal is a great guy and excellent with kids. This is a real family place. You can really feel at home here. read more

I recently had my son's 7th birthday party here and it was a HUGE success! We were looking for a place with good food and a nice outdoor area for the young kids to play. Our guest were extremely satisfied with the food. This restaurant has the best pizza we have ever had. The chicken wings were delicious as always and the calamari was perfect. The service was also great. Very happy with Ashley. She is very caring and was a great host to our party. Very attentive. The owner Ryan is also great! He checked on us often to make sure that everyone was taken care of. The kids had plenty of space to play. I would highly recommend this place. I ordered the Tuesday special. Large cheese carry out only, $8.99. I was greeted by a friendly cashier. My pizza was being packed by uncle sal. Perfect timing. The pizza is delicious and can't wait to try the meatball bowl. Plenty of parking and they are open till 10 pm. read more

I have been coming here for a little over a year now and I want to say I am glad I did not give up on Jersey Johns! The first 5 times I went here...exceptional pizza. Then while it was switching ownership, I was sad to see lots of inconsistencies. HOWEVER, it seems as though this pizza joint is back to its original merit. I've gone twice within the past month and ordered two different pies each time and zero complaints. If you are willing to pay a premium price for a premium pizza...Jersey John's it is. read more

My Fiancé is from Brooklyn and he Moved down to South Florida six years ago and had never found a pizza place that reminded him of home...until today. The pizza brought back tears to his eyes as it brought back so many fond memories from back home. THANK YOU Jersey John's for finally giving us a pizza place to call home! I used to think that this spot would never house the magic once delivered by our beloved Roman Oven under Pete and Sally Alu. Well, I think the Magic is coming back. Ryan delivers! All hail... the Meatball Bowl! I'm always fascinated when people come up with new food concepts. This one in particular took me by surprise. Having a few beers and watching the game at the craft beer bar next door a friend I was with mentioned this amazing little Italian place next door with a Meatball Bowl. Intrigued (and hungry) I came to Jersey Johns to see for myself and was pleasantly surprised. It's a tiny, quant little place with not much of a dining area but huge kitchen and pizza making space. It smelled amazing inside and the patrons dining in looked to be enjoying their food so I took a chance and ordered a Meatball Bowl to-go. Basically it's a huge 8oz meatball nestled inside a bread bowl with myriad of sauce and cheese baked to melty perfection. Did I mention I loved Italian food? Ughhh so yum! It's huge and I shared it with a friend and it was amazingly delicious. Went well with a pilsner beer also! I'm not normally a fan of pizza but I would take a chance on pizza or anything else on their huge menu next time I'm in the area. Ok. Run. Don't walk to Donna Sarah's. Sure. It's a small place in a strip mall, but do not let that deter you. Run by a French husband and wife, they are cranking out the best Italian food around . The husband greeted us at the door and shook our hands. The wife had the brightest smile. This family cares about their customers and food in a way that is unlike most places in South Florida . The Chicken Marsala is the best I've had . Ever. The sauce is like liquid drugs. My wife got the chicken parm. Again. Huge. Great. Awesome. Pasta for both dishes was cooked perfectly Al dente. If I could give -0 stars I would. Not only is the food absolutely disgusting, but the ethics and moral compass of the employees is as well. These racist, trash people can't put a damn pizza together let alone treat someone with basic human decency. I witnessed them treat a Hispanic woman as if she was an animal, they literally kicked her out of the restaurant for speaking Spanish. If you enjoy pizza that gives you diarrhea, cheap ingredients, and a blatantly racist establishment than by all means please eat here. I hope the restaurant sees this and knows that as of today I am doing everything in my power to release a detailed story of what I saw in hopes that they'll lose so much business and eventually CLOSE. literally the worst place ever. read more
