Their donuts are the best in Menifee. My favorite donuts have always been the jelly and custard ones, and I've been trying to find a place that doesn't cheap out on the filling. Donut Star was the one place for me. The lady is also nice because she always sneaks in free donut holes in my bag!

Cute little donut shop in the stater brothers shopping area is awesome. We came in there for some fresh donuts and they were soooo soft and yummy also they had cute character donuts which i forgot to take pics of. Fast friendly service I'll be back for my donut fix. We buy cream cheese here 3 times a week @ yesterday all the give us is only bread !I went after work to see if they could do something and the Lady only said sorry sorry ! We order from a company ! If you can't tell from my reviews, I like donuts. Wanted to try something new this time, donut start was the lucky winner. Nothing special inside, but I did think the selection was not like others- smaller. I ordered glazed old fashioned, chocolate sprinkles, Cronut and a cinnamon crunch. They got it right except for the chocolate sprinkles. I was given maybe a white chocolate with sprinkles? Nonetheless it was cakey/doughy. I wasn't a fan of that one. The rest were good. I'll give them another chance. They have a $0.75 service charge for using a credit card. Picture is not a good one, sorry.

Walked in a few minutes before closing and an older sweet asian woman helped us out. The donuts were really good and tasty and you get a bigger portion for a better price than other places around. They have a great selection of donuts and will be my go-to shop for the next time around!!!

Donuts were delicious and very friendly staff. My hands were full with a dozen donuts and my two toddlers and the sweet owner helped walk us to the car. Very small inside, but it was nice to have tables and chairs where the kids can sit while we were ordering.

This place never disappoints no matter what time of day the donuts are always fresh...came here today after picking up my son from school...so he was craving donuts and usually all the shops sometimes donuts are stale or selection is low...but not here its always stocked up with fresh donuts like as if you are here early in the morning ...and they are open late in the evening so its a big plus if your craving donuts...and also they are always friendly here and they even through in a free donut if you purchase a dozen donuts...dont get me wrong i like krispy creme or dunkin donuts or any big name donut shops but most of the time i like to support the Mom and Pop shops...yummy donuts in the city

Perfection!!!! Easily the best donuts within 25! They are not trying too hard, no gimmicks, just good donuts! They always have a large assortment of donuts and they stay true to the classics. The raised donuts are always so fresh and fluffy and the cake donuts really hit the spot, never too dense. I never leave with less than a dozen. There is always a line out the door in the morning, but they work hard to get everyone served quickly. They take card and Apple Pay, but there's a small fee, so bonus if you pay cash.

This Donut Star is just that! A STAR in my book. My husband Loves occasionally getting their Ham & Cheese Croissant. Our Lodge was having a breakfast Pot Luck and I decided last minute to go. So called them day before and ordered 12 for next morning. Once home I Cut them in half & warmed a bit to serve. They are LARGE and DELICIOUS, needless to say they where all gobbled up at function. Best freakin donuts in the whole damn area......on weekend mornings you'll find the line here going out the door. So bomb........you can tell the donuts are so fresh and oh so goooood!!!! I still go here once in a while but i don't live in this area anymore so it's a lil hard. But they still have the best donuts between temecula, murrieta, elsinore menifee & hemet. read more

came here last night around 930 pm for a doughnut run. even though they closed in an hour they were still making fresh doughnuts which was really nice.makes a difference. service was fast. person working their was really nice. 2 dozen was approximately 23 ish dillars. they threw in some extras too and that's including their specialty doughnuts which has an extra cross. they have a great selection of different types. my favorite doughnut was their bacon and maple doughnut. right amount of sweet and salty. can never go wrong with adding bacon to things. all of them though we're fluffy insides that were light in nature. not overly sweet. but definitely good. high quality doughnuts for sure!!! will be back if we're craving some doughnuts at work next time. :) read more

I would have rated this shop 5 stars when I first tried this place however this is the second time I specifically went for a boba smoothie and twice I've been told they ran out. For one, how do you run out of boba first thing in the morning on a Sunday? And again on a Saturday evening at 8pm. I'm disappointed because if you're going to have boba smoothies in your menu it should always be available. One of the owners son told me "You should of came earlier." Donuts are great however keep stock on your other menu items! read more

I have been going here and eating Donuts for nearly 40 years, ever since it opened. You won't find better Donuts oh, anywhere. I drive from Texas to get their donuts oh, my Dad tried to send me some donuts when I lived in South Korea call but since they don't use preservatives unfortunately the donuts didn't make it okay. But that's because they don't use preservatives! This is the real deal, the best cake Donuts you will eat in your entire life. I love this place! I go here often and they have the best donuts, always fresh and open all the time. My favorite are the cake donuts with sprinkles mmm. They have a wide assortment of donuts and drinks, water, orange juice, apple juice, milk, coffee etc. The prices are low and the service is always great. Really nice people working here. read more

Covid sucks! I wanted donuts for my whole cheer team but they couldn't have them unless they were individually package. And the guy working when I walked in offered to individually package every donut and have them ready for us at 6:30 in the morning. Great customer service and amazing donuts. Very affordable as well. read more

Best Donuts in town. If you haven't tried the Maple Bacon Bars you are missing out. 100 times better than the place in Canyon Lake. Good amount of crispy bacon the maple icing is perfect. The donut is a crowd pleaser . I take these to my customers and they are a hit every time . The Traditional glaze donut is pretty awesome as well. I've been going here now for 13 years and they are STILL my favorite donut shop. read more

Never had a problem I usually go in and buy my family donuts from this location since I live nearby however my last experience was my LAST ..some teen girl that works here was very rude for no reason it was about 7am and she had an attitude and nearly threw me my change instead of handing it to me. These are the greatest donuts in the world! Though only a couple times a year (mostly on birthdays) I've been going here since I was a little kid. Their cream filled donuts are the best ever, I've never had a creamfilled donut from any other place that compares...and the cinnamon rolls are excellent too! I don't know if this is the norm at donut places (bakers dozen?) but they usually always throw in an extra one for me. I've got memories of the taste of the the chocolate milk cartons they sell there. They taste like chocolate....and carton. Yum! A great choice for your kids. read more

I used to love going to this doughnut shop because they had such good doughnuts and it was the only place in menifee. I will never go back here I found a finger nail in my doughnut and so I called to complain and they said it happens. read more

Stopped in for a donut ... I am a donut connoisseur! I got a cinnamon roll and it was pretty good, maybe a tad dry. It had the right level of sweetness, though. My wife got a lemon filled powdered sugar donut. The filling was too sweet for her, so she squeezed most of it out, then ate the donut. I think this was a matter of taste, nothing wrong with the filling itself. So this place is average, maybe a tiny bit above average, as far as donuts go. The owner was super nice and friendly. Stop by and check it out if you're close ... It's not bad. I would have liked to give this place 3.5 stars(obviously yelp doesn't do half stars), but considering that I have eaten at five star donut places and this is nothing like those places, I'm giving it 3 stars. read more

Really good donuts and I don't like donuts. A bit out the way for me to visit often but I'm glad I stopped by since I was in the area. I think this is the only donut shop in Menifee but it's the best donut shop in Menifee. Family owned business and fresh tasting donuts. If I only I lived closer but then maybe its a good thing. I had the blueberry and the pink frosting donut for a $1.89. Yes, I ate 2 donuts by myself but so worth it. Highly recommend! read more

The quality at this location has been consistently disappointing. The donuts often taste undercooked, with dough that seems unfinished and simply covered with excessive sugar to compensate. It's reached a point where I believe management should temporarily close the location, bring in experienced leadership from the corporate team, and completely reevaluate the operation. The brand built its reputation on quality, and this location is far from those standards. The pricing only adds to the frustration. Charging nearly $20 for a dozen donuts of this quality is hard to justify. I sincerely hope the franchise owner and corporate leadership take a serious look at this location and make the necessary changes to restore it to the quality that made the brand successful in the first place.
