Tried their famous golden bagel but it was quite plain! It was pretty much an egg omelette inside- it was fine but very basic. Rainbow is their version of plain bagel

Bagels were so good!! The smoked salmon was so refreshing. I loved that they put everything underneath the salmon, made it way easier to eat than everything falling apart. We got this on an onion bagel. I loved the golden scramble on a jalapeno cheddar bagel was so good! i got it with bacon this time. I'll be coming back to try it with other meats.

I think this place is definitely a local gem. I went here after a run at 10AM and it was absolutely packed. I ordered a Golden Scramble (added Ham for 1.99) and my friend ordered one bagel with cream cheese. Both were delicious, no doubt. The service was a bit rough though. I know the place was packed, and so I'll try to give them the benefit of the doubt. But it took me about 30 minutes to get my Golden Scramble. And by the time I got it, my friend had already dusted his bagel. So I would have to give it another try to update my review. That being said, the atmosphere is casual and feels like a local spot. There's a fair amount of seating, but if you're coming at prime time. Expect to stand or maybe buy a drink at Starbucks to hang out there. THAT BEING SAID. I was an absolute fan of their colored traditional bagel. It tasted just like normal, but it totally brought me back to the 2016 era of rainbow bagels. And I'm 100% for that haha, a lot of fun to see and eat. Would recommend!

With all sorts of bagel shops opening up throughout the county, it's nice to know this place is here and still serving up delicious food at surprisingly reasonable prices. Their service is always on point and their dining area is spotless. You can't ever go wrong by choosing to drop in here. I love their onion or garlic bagels with regular cream cheese. Remember, these days - cash is king. Keep things simple and pay with cash. Avoid Clover's processing fees. Thank me later.

I came across this local bagel shop after seeing all the great reviews and decided to give it a try, so glad I did! I went around 2 p.m., and they were already sold out of several bagels, but I got an onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly as well. I can't wait to come back and try more of their bagels.

One of my favorites and very local. Always a line Sunday morning and the bagels are freshly made. They also have one of my favorite coffee's #SeattleBest. Taking an out-of-towner foodie. Got me a colorful bagel yay! He gave it a thumbs up?

We love Golden Bagel! Their service is always polite, quick, and friendly! We're big fans of the Rainbow bagels and the Jalapeño & Cheese bagels. We always go early as the popular items (like Rainbow bagels) definitely sell out! We also have only done take outs as it feels pretty crowded to eat on site.

First time here. I was craving a bagel so I goggled what's nearby. The place was nice and big and super busy. The cashier he wasn't that nice so the customer service was ok but at least they were fast. We order four different kinds to go. Honestly it's just a normal bagel nothing special. It was 19 dollars for four, I thought it was pricey jfor just average bagels.

Been coming here for years since it was by my high school. Its a local favorite right next to vons and Starbucks. I always rave that it's the best bagel in SD. So many different options and so fresh. I got the scramble bagel with sun dried tomato and veggie cream cheese. $10 can be a lil pricey but always so good. Giving it 4 stars this time though since my bagel wasn't toasted and the egg could have been warmer.

I ordered a beef lunch bagel. It was filling and tasty. There's a lot of different kinds of bagels at this establishment.

SUCH GOOD BAGELS AND SCHMEAR! I had the salt bagels with lox schmear, and suddenly I was home. The bagels are fantastic, I highly recommend the salt bagel. There were still lots of people having brunch and enjoying their bagels. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese bagel on a jalapeno cheese bagel. There was plenty of egg, melty American cheese and a couple of pieces of bacon. It wasn't salty and the actual jalapeno on the bagel was a bit spicy. The bread itself was crunchy and soft, if that makes any sense. This was delicious and even better when you add some hot sauce to it. The hubs got the pizza bagel on a plain bagel and this wasn't so exciting. It had pepperoni and a good amount of it but we weren't too impressed with it. The Jersey Girl was good too. We appreciated the Taylor ham and finally glad we were able to try this. It's almost like spam but not as salty. This was on a plain bagel as well. I would get this again, as well as the bacon, egg and cheese bagel. We also ordered the lox and dill cream cheese to take home and ordered a jalapeno cheese, Asiago, plain, salt and two cinnamon raisin. All bagels need to be toasted. The cinnamon raisin was a nice treat, not too sweet but wishing it did have sugar on it. The lox and dill cream cheese was so so so so so good with all the other bagels we got. You can definitely taste and see all the lox and dill in the cream cheese. I would order all these again. It was just so so good. The place is also cute and the staff are super friendly. Some of the sandwiches are a bit steep but for good bagels, I'll pay for it. Overall, I would definitely return on another random weekday.

I ordered the Serrano Jalapeño Jack Cheese Bagel with chive shallot cream cheese, along with the Iced Cinna Bee. The bagel was absolutely overloaded with cream cheese. Because it was served hot, the cream cheese melted and was literally dripping everywhere, making it a complete mess to eat. Then I bit into it and found a thick slice of cold, raw tomato inside. Who puts a cold raw tomato on a hot bagel loaded with warm cream cheese? The combination was disgusting and completely threw off the flavor. The Iced Cinna Bee, which I was told is one of their most popular drinks, was just as disappointing. It was bland, barely sweetened, and the cinnamon completely overpowered the coffee. It was honestly gross, and I couldn't finish it. To make matters worse, I waited over 20 minutes for my order. Parking was also a hassle since I had to park on the street. The only reasons I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 are because the staff was friendly and the café has potential. Unfortunately, the food, coffee, and long wait made this a disappointing experience. I don't see myself coming back.

This past Sunday, I decided to head over for a morning walk and finally stopped in again. The shop is pretty small with limited seating, so it's not really a place to hang out. It seems more like a grab-and-go coffee spot. There aren't many great coffee shop options in this part of Coronado, so I can definitely see why it's popular with both locals and tourists. I arrived just before the morning rush, so I was able to order and get my drink almost immediately. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. I also really appreciated that they offer a military discount--it's always nice to see businesses supporting the military community. I ordered a medium cold brew with coconut cold foam and asked for very light ice. I was so happy they actually listened! So many coffee shops still fill the cup with ice even when you ask for light ice, and I hate watered-down coffee. This one was perfect. The coconut cold foam was absolutely delicious and added just the right amount of sweetness to complement the bold flavor of the cold brew without overpowering it.
