Tried their famous golden bagel but it was quite plain! It was pretty much an egg omelette inside- it was fine but very basic. Rainbow is their version of plain bagel

Bagels were so good!! The smoked salmon was so refreshing. I loved that they put everything underneath the salmon, made it way easier to eat than everything falling apart. We got this on an onion bagel. I loved the golden scramble on a jalapeno cheddar bagel was so good! i got it with bacon this time. I'll be coming back to try it with other meats.

I think this place is definitely a local gem. I went here after a run at 10AM and it was absolutely packed. I ordered a Golden Scramble (added Ham for 1.99) and my friend ordered one bagel with cream cheese. Both were delicious, no doubt. The service was a bit rough though. I know the place was packed, and so I'll try to give them the benefit of the doubt. But it took me about 30 minutes to get my Golden Scramble. And by the time I got it, my friend had already dusted his bagel. So I would have to give it another try to update my review. That being said, the atmosphere is casual and feels like a local spot. There's a fair amount of seating, but if you're coming at prime time. Expect to stand or maybe buy a drink at Starbucks to hang out there. THAT BEING SAID. I was an absolute fan of their colored traditional bagel. It tasted just like normal, but it totally brought me back to the 2016 era of rainbow bagels. And I'm 100% for that haha, a lot of fun to see and eat. Would recommend!

With all sorts of bagel shops opening up throughout the county, it's nice to know this place is here and still serving up delicious food at surprisingly reasonable prices. Their service is always on point and their dining area is spotless. You can't ever go wrong by choosing to drop in here. I love their onion or garlic bagels with regular cream cheese. Remember, these days - cash is king. Keep things simple and pay with cash. Avoid Clover's processing fees. Thank me later.

waited 40 minutes for a mid bagel AND THEY DIDNT EVEN TOAST IT !!! the only positive is that is was SOMEWHAT cheap

I came across this local bagel shop after seeing all the great reviews and decided to give it a try, so glad I did! I went around 2 p.m., and they were already sold out of several bagels, but I got an onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly as well. I can't wait to come back and try more of their bagels.

One of my favorites and very local. Always a line Sunday morning and the bagels are freshly made. They also have one of my favorite coffee's #SeattleBest. Taking an out-of-towner foodie. Got me a colorful bagel yay! He gave it a thumbs up?

First time here. I was craving a bagel so I goggled what's nearby. The place was nice and big and super busy. The cashier he wasn't that nice so the customer service was ok but at least they were fast. We order four different kinds to go. Honestly it's just a normal bagel nothing special. It was 19 dollars for four, I thought it was pricey jfor just average bagels.

We love Golden Bagel! Their service is always polite, quick, and friendly! We're big fans of the Rainbow bagels and the Jalapeño & Cheese bagels. We always go early as the popular items (like Rainbow bagels) definitely sell out! We also have only done take outs as it feels pretty crowded to eat on site.

Been coming here for years since it was by my high school. Its a local favorite right next to vons and Starbucks. I always rave that it's the best bagel in SD. So many different options and so fresh. I got the scramble bagel with sun dried tomato and veggie cream cheese. $10 can be a lil pricey but always so good. Giving it 4 stars this time though since my bagel wasn't toasted and the egg could have been warmer.

I like the different variety of table seating to the different rooms of where you can dine. It was inviting and very spacious. Everyone that we encountered was super friendly and outgoing. It was very great hospitality. Our waiter was very helpful and check in on us quite often. The service was Superb. Now the food, we went on a Wednesday which they have Happy Hour all day. We ordered The Record Room Burger which came with Fries. This was very tasty. The fries were excellent. I tried one of my friend's dishes which was the Lamb Meatballs and that was amazing. Sadly, the B&R Mac n Cheese did not do it for me. It was missing seasoning and the flakes tasted stale. The staff did give us salt & pepper to jazz it up which did help. Regardless of the mac n cheese, I really enjoyed this place. The red wine was perfection. Overall it was a great experience and I gotta go back to check out other food items.

We did have a fairly large group so we occupied the entire back wall corner. It was a bit snug in terms of table space and leg space, but we made it work. The staff were doing their best to keep track of everyone's orders, but there were a few mix-ups in the end. Food came out in waves and had a good cadence to the meal. - FOOD - We had a lot to share amongst our group! Wagyu Tartare ($14.00): Really flavorful tartare! Had a nice tartness to it due to the Black Vinegar. Pork Belly Baos ($12.00 - 2pc): Honestly this was just OK to me. Ahi Tuna Crudo ($18.00): Very bright and refreshing. Chicken Satay ($12.00): A little dry on some chicken pieces. Crispy Brussels ($10.00): Not as crispy as I'd hoped but still good. B&R Mac & Cheese ($8.00): Very creamy, very cheesy. The pasta was a bit soft though. Flat Iron Steak & Fries ($25.00): Decent piece of steak, cooked medium well. I honestly enjoyed the fries a lot! However, there must have been something expired, cooked wrong, or just not up to quality as many of us got stomach issues that night and the next day. We were all spread out so not sure what it could have been given we ate a few different items. - OVERALL - It was a cool vibe and they have some good tasting items, but considering a few of us got sick, I'm a bit wary to come back.

It's got the decor, chairs, and art to match. Jessica was our server and she was amazing! She gave us lots of suggestions on what to try and what is on the menu since it was my first time here. She recommended the bloody Mary flight so did grab that to try! We also ordered the biscuits and gravy to share and orange juice. The portions are so large! So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! In particular, I enjoyed the fried chicken and waffle tower and their roasted chicken hash. I was surprised they didn't include a side of butter along with their biscuits, but I'll probably just ask for it next time. One important thing to note is that their dishes are HUGE. All 6 of us had our own dishes, but I would highly highly recommend ordering a couple dishes and sharing it family style if you're dining with a group. One note I did have about Hash House is how overstimulating the menu is lol. The menu had a lot of clashing fonts, colors, and clip art images, it made it hard to digest the menu. I didn't even notice some menu offerings because of how busy the menu was. Also, our waitress did initially charge us for 6 coffees, even though we only had 3. It was a good thing we caught that error on the receipt before paying. Overall, the food at Hash House is definitely worth coming back for.

As if that wasn't enough, we walked in and realized it was trivia night, which immediately made the evening even better. While looking through the menu, I spotted a salmon bowl. I'm still pretty new to seafood and have recently discovered that I'm actually a big fan of raw salmon, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity to branch out. Well... surprise! For some reason I had convinced myself it was going to be a poke-style bowl with raw salmon, avocado, cucumbers, and all the usual toppings. Instead, it came out with cooked salmon. Even though it wasn't what I expected, the bowl was actually delicious. The funny part is I learned something about myself... I definitely prefer raw salmon over cooked salmon. Not a bad discovery to make over a good meal! The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, trivia kept the energy up all night, and the service was friendly from start to finish. Great place to grab a drink, catch up with friends, and maybe even learn something new about your own taste buds.
