Our food was delicious and our drinks were good, too. The restaurant is clean and modern. The service was a bit slow- they are a bit understaffed and doing their best! We were given the wrong check. Once I brought it to a waitresses attention, she took the check but didn't return with the new one. Our original waitress finally returned after about 10 minutes and fixed the issue. She also apologized for the mistake

First time having Korean food in Vermont and it's not quite there. It was full when I arrived at 6:30pm on a Thursday and the wait time was about 15mins. There was a party of four sitting at a table with the other half the table available so it could have easily been split off to sit another four. After the party left, that section got split into three tables to sit 4, 2 and 2. There were multiple people manning the front, yet it seems to be the "one" person that was taking care of the seating, taking orders and bringing drinks. I requested for a couple things that had all been forgotten because that one person was so overwhelmed, but the friendliness was there. Every dish that arrived at my table was not hot, their organization needs work. Ordered several items to try since Donwoori is new: - Green Bean Fries $7|Fried well, just bland. - Soy Garlic KFC small(6pc) $11 | Korean wings are typically thick, tender and juicy and these were dinky and underwhelming. The soy garlic sauce was on the saltier end and lacked umami. Even the pickled daikon that came with it was made poorly and lacked the refreshing zing from the vinegar. - Bulgogi Bowl $16 | The beef was soft and flavorful. - Chicken Curry Rice Bowl $18 | The rice was far from fluffy, it was hard. The panko was twice as thick as the chicken itself and the curry was just salty with no flavor. Tasted like the cubed curry packs that was mixed poorly. - Tteokbokki with cheese $11 | Small bowl of tteokbokki with a few pieces of fish cakes and a couple sausages. Tasted like one of those microwavable frozen packs that I could find at a Korean store. Korean dishes are usually very comforting and combines a complexity of flavors and textures, and I did not get any of that at Donwoori. My visit was quite disappointing.

Overall the food was ok and service ok. Very busy when we arrived. Put our names on a waitlist. If you go have a drink nearby while waiting, your table may be given away. Nice lighting, quite loud, busy, upbeat, on a corner a block away from downtown winooski. Lots of street parking and garage nearby if need be. We got the chicken wings appetizer. Wings were ok but on the dry side and not too flavorful. The bibimbap with beef, which was fairly good flavor wise and portion (large portions), but very salty. I forget what my partner ordered but he said it was a little too greasy/salty for him to want to keep what he couldn't eat for leftovers. The weirdest part of the meal were the drinks. They told us they'd just started their cocktail menu so all the drinks were new to them and us. I got a "spicy cocktail" that had sriracha in it and unfortunately all I could taste, or see (drink had so much sriracha in it that it looked like a Bloody Mary) was sriracha. My partner got a bright green drink which was much more mild and tolerable. Overall not memorable food, but also not bad. Good place if you're looking for a quick bite and/or heavier salty fried food.

Amazing new Korean spot! Donwoori has incredible food, great service, and a fun, vibing atmosphere. The menu has tons of great options and everything we tried was delicious--especially the chicken wings, which were beyond amazing. Definitely worth a visit!

Second time patronizing Donwoori. Food is good but unfortunately, as seems to be the way now, their politics are front and center as you enter. Not my style, best of luck.

We've eaten here twice and the food is delicious! Bibimbap is great, my son loves the Korean fried chicken and we liked the kimchi pancakes although they might be crispier if you don't get them to go. The restaurant is really cute, service was easygoing and friendly and the place has a nice vibe, but only two 4-top tables.

I got the Malay Curry noodle soup with tofu & vegetables, and buckwheat noodles ($20). It took about 15-20 minutes to arrive despite them being dead, but once the food arrived, I was happy... until I realized they forgot the tofu! Once I told server, they brought out a side of steamed unseasoned tofu right away. The broth was pretty rich and well-spiced, with a deep Malaysian laksa-like broth, lots of veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrot and bell peppers), with a generous serving of buckwheat noodles. Pretty tasty stuff overall, albeit a bit pricey. Good spot overall, especially for a such a small town.

We were looking for a quick dinner in Hanover after a long day of helping my mother-in-law move…read more She recommended Sushiya which apparently is relatively new in Hanover. I skeptically thought "how good could sushi be in New Hampshire and especially if not run by Japanese folks?" I was glad to be proven wrong! We ordered a variety of different kinds of sushi rolls and sashimi and everything was super fresh and delicious, including the following types of rolls: avocado, california, shrimp tempura, tuna. We also ordered the bi bim bap in the hot stone bowl which was good, not the very best I've ever had (comparing to eating dolsot bibimbap in Seoul, HMarket food markets), but we ate almost all of it and took the rest for leftovers which were polished off the next day, so perhaps even very good! The meals all came with complimentary banchan (small side dishes) of cold bean sprouts, broccoli, pickled spicy zucchini, flavored boiled peanuts (my least favorite banchan), and miso soup. Loved the bean sprouts and broccoli and they brought us more when we finished the first round. Next time we're in Hanover we'll visit Sushiya again for sure!

It gets busy and they don't take reservations. They do have an online waitlist but we went around 4:30 and didn't have to utilize it. Our party of 6 climbed camel's hump earlier in the day and showed up famished. We knew this was the right pig out spot for us to refuel from the moment we walked in, smelled the food and saw the amazing ceiling-high bar. The smoked meats were outstanding. High quality cuts smoked to perfection. We had an order of every meat they offer and they were all just as good. That being said, I could go back just for the cornbread w maple butter. My word, it was like eating cake for dinner. The Mac & cheese was ooey and gooey with a nice crispy top. And the cookie skillet was like a party in your mouth. We didn't think we'd be able to finish everything but there wasn't a crumb to be found when we were done. As far as service goes, it was as good as I've ever had at a place like this. Our server was laid back yet always on top of things. We never waited for anything and her timing was perfect. There's outdoor seating if that's your jam. We sat in the large table by the window and got to look out on main st. It couldn't have been more perfect.
