Average diner. Some positive points: + Parking! Driving/parking in White Plains is always such a hassle. This place had a parking lot in the back, which made my experience better. + Their Curly Fries are awesome. My friend recommended this diner for the Curly Fries and she certainly wasn't wrong. Wasn't oily but crunchy, and not too dry. The food was good, very filling. Pretty pricey. When we went around 1:30pm on a Saturday, it was very empty. I also have a huge passion for Honey Mustard and get it to try everywhere I go: Theirs was on the sweet side. Bit of a sour after taste.

If you want to go to a place with decent diner food ie burgers, pancakes and omelettes, I'd recommend this place. If you're looking for an upscale place with amazing customer service I would not recommend this place. I've been coming here for years but I come here once in awhile when I really want a burger with great steak fries. And I love their coffee and omelettes. The owner will welcome and greet friends and regulars but completely ignore others who stop in, even though she sits by the door (all day, every day).

Dorry's Diner is easy to miss, just one of hundreds of storefronts here on White Plains' 'main drag.' But once you've had a bite of their food, it's the only thing you'll notice when driving by. I believe the words 'hearty' and 'homemade' describe my lunch pretty well. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. I went with a cup of chicken noodle soup and Michael's Philly Wrap. The soup was chock full of yumminess while the wrap, with its mushrooms and fried onions, was juicy and sooo delish, I thought my eyes were going to role back into my head. Finally, the steak fries, which come with all wraps, were crispy and cooked to perfection, just the way they're supposed to be ... like in a fairy tale. Washed down with a diet Coke, this was a super great meal. I'm sad that, in our 26 years living in White Plains, this is my first visit to Dorry's. Our family has always frequented another diner in town, and now, I'll never be able to return to that 'other' diner as Dorry's food is so much better. I'm also sad at the 'hit & miss' revues I'm seeing here as today's visit was top notch. Highly recommended! PS Today's visit was during covid, and this establishment followed all protocols including masked employees and spaced tables.

Tuna wrap was great. House made tuna salad was perefectly seasoned and not too wet. Didn't really feel welcome. Waiter wasn't friendly and seemed put off by my family. (I happen to think we're lovely but know that not everyone will see us that way. :)) i know the place was clean because it smelled very much like clorox. My daughter liked her quesadilla. Owner was around and also seemed unfriendly (strange because I've seen her positively mentioned in previous reviews.) Loved all the springstein memorabilia and the kitschy signs about coffee. Maybe this is the kind of place that caters to and really values its regulars? One blond waitress was actually very friendly to my children but she was a lone wolf in a den of indifference. Hate to write a less than positive review especially when I know a lot of restaurants are struggling right now. Again, liked the food, but felt out of place and unwantedand would not return.

Holy moly! Talk about LOVE! This diner is filled with love! You can taste the love in the food, you can feel the love between the owner and the employees and you can see the love on the menu cover, in the cleanliness and decor... Dorry's Diner is love! Great poached eggs. Great mushroom feta omelette. Frank's Red Hot sauce as the spicy sauce! You win Dorry! You've got our love too. PS: if you love Bruce Springsteen... this is your new favorite breakfast spot. Thank me later!

After several years experience at breweries like Voodoo Brewing and Kent Falls Brewing, Ross accepted a position as a head brewer at Twelve Percent Beer Project in North Haven. He only agreed to take the job if he could simultaneously launch his own brand. He named it "Marlowe" after his maternal grandfather. In October 2022, Marlowe opened as a brick & mortar brewpub in Nyack (NY). Unfortunately it closed six months later due to irreconcilable differences with the landlords. When a location formerly home to Decadent Ales became available in Mamaroneck in 2023, Brian Barclay of Barclay Brewing (another gypsy brewing operation that had worked out of Twelve Percent) jumped at the chance to create his own brewery collective and invited Ross to come on board as a partner. The partnership was dubbed the "New York Craft Coalition" and opened August 2023. In addition to their own brands' beers, Barclay and Ross collaborated on new ones. The union was short-lived, however, with Barclay Brewing moving out of the space just eight months later. Marlowe Artisanal Ales took over the whole space and had their 'Grand Re-Re-Re-Opening' in April 2024. My sons and I recently visited Marlowe Artisanal Ales for lunch. I had previously visited the space when it was still New York Craft Coalition (and even earlier when it was still Decadent Ales). After looking over the menu, my sons ordered and shared the "Basket of Fingers" (chicken fingers, fries, choice of dipping sauce), I had the "Burger Special" (Koji aged beef patty, mushrooms, onions, pepper jack cheese, apple smoked bacon, garlic aioli), and we all shared the "Eggplant Chips" (thinly sliced and fried eggplant drizzled with spicy honey). Everything was fantastic! To wash everything down, I had a draught pours of "While We Wait" (English-style Pub Ale), "Ghost Signatures: Nelson" (New England IPA), and a can pour of "Psychic Cyberwolf 3005" (Imperial Pastry Stout collaboration with Timber Ales). The latter was my favorite! I really enjoyed my visit to Marlowe Artisanal Ales and I hope to return!!

We also tried the hummus, but none of us really cared for it. Everyone enjoyed their entrees (tacos, burger, spicy garlic noodles). My husband's spicy garlic noodles were very flavorful. I opted to mix and match tacos and all the flavors were delicious. --I really like when places offer a mix and match situation because I like variety. Though pricy, all of our drinks were on point. The large beer selection was a hit as were the refreshing margaritas. Our server was very friendly. (He did however keep noting things that were listed as spicy were very spicy when no one in our group found anything spicy at all despite the dish title lol, but I guess that's personal preference). The restaurant is definitely on the pricier side so keep that in mind. I would definitely return. The menu offers something for everyone.

The trio and their families all live in Greenwich. Collectively, they were all sick of taking their families out to dinner and the bill adding up to hundreds of dollars. They also realized that Greenwich was one of the few towns in Connecticut that didn't have a brewery. The business partners made it their mission to open their own family-friendly brewpub where consumers could get good craft beer as well as quality food that didn't break the bank. When a space previously home to LobsterCraft became available, the partners jumped at the chance to move in. I recently visited Greenwich Brewing Company for the first time. I was heading to a concert nearby, so I thought I would stop in a grab some beers and bites for a pre-show dinner. I noticed right away that GBC has a nautical theme. The logo features an anchor, and the entrance wall features the name of the brewpub spelled out in nautical flags. The place is a little on the smaller side, cozy and inviting; there's seating for about 52 customers. I pulled up a seat at the bar and looked over the menu. Some of the staff informed me that they were celebrating their one-year anniversary and had some menu specials. To drink, I ordered a sampler flight that featured "Day Sailing" (Strawberry Lemonade Sour), "Oktoberfest" (Märzen), "Hop Anchor" (New England IPA), and "Catamaranic" (Hazy Double IPA). My favorite of the flight was the Oktoberfest, and I ordered a full pour afterwards. I also noticed that there were no beer tanks anywhere to be found on the premises. A staff member informed me that all beer is currently brewed off-site. They hope to move to a larger location in the future where brewing can be done in-house. Overall, GBC's beer is ok. It's their food menu, however, where they really shine. I first started off with some delicious "Toasted Pretzel Logs" (w/ Cardinal Red beer cheese sauce & stone ground mustard). Then I finished with the "Hot Honey Chicken" (2 tenders, hot honey drizzle, shredded mustard slaw, pimento cheese, on a roll, served w/ fries). It was phenomenal! My only complaint was that the bun was a little too small; it was no match for those massive tenders. I ended up eating most of it with a knife and fork as it fell apart. That aside, it was a delicious sandwich! If you're looking for an affordable, family-friendly place in Greenwich to grab some good beers and bites, then head to GBC!
