    Santa Fe Nachos

Overall like this place. Workers are very friendly and great. Our go to are the tacos and quesadilla, which are both very good. Really wanted nachos tonight, though. Remember being pretty unimpressed before, so I tried the Santa Fe version. They were not flavorful at all, which I was hoping the sauce would help with. It did not. The chips are suuuper thin, like Taco Bell thin or maybe even thinner and only the very top ones are crispy. Notice the stack underneath- only the very top has toppings. Bella Bru has the best nachos from my experience, but they are not the traditional flavor and family didn't want to go there. One star for this dish. Skip it, unless you desperately need nachos.

I mean flavor was solid. The chips had a nice crunch and were slightly warm. The salsa we got didn't have too much flavor but complimented the crunch and didn't make them soggy fast. I mainly used the chips to dip into the bowl. There was a good amount in the bowl, couldn't finish it in one sitting for sure. I wish there was more corn and protein. The 6 shrimp were seasoned well but kinda small. If they were cut up maybe they would feel bigger? Other than that the portions of all the other items was a good amount. We did a big takeout order and the workers were very nice they even helped my coworker take it to his car! Plenty of parking in the area, can get kinda busy.

Decided to check this place out as I was in the area. I ordered the Border Burrito Bowl. Flavor-wise, it was really good and it's definitely a good value. The ambiance is what you'd expect out of a Mexican chain restaurant. The staff were nice and friendly and the service was quick, which I definitely appreciated. That being-said, I did ask for several ingredients to be left out, and unfortunately, everything I asked to remove was still in the bowl. I didn't notice until I was a few bites in, which was frustrating. I get that mistakes happen, and the food itself was tasty, but it kind of takes away from the experience when a specific order isn't followed. If you do have specific dietary needs, definitely double-check your food before taking your first bite.

Although I've eaten here off and on throughout the years, I am reviewing on the most experience my co-workers and I had. Quite a few of us randomly decided to swing by since it was close to our office on a Thursday roughly after 12pm. Ample parking and a fair amount of seating both inside and immediately outside the establishment. I decided on the shrimp burrito. Although the burrito was very filling and delicious, I wasn't particularly fond of the salsa i grabbed. It was rather on the sweet end. I knocked it down 2 stars due to observing inconsistent means in bringing food orders to everyone. Although it is understandable for staff to have some difficulty bringing food to everyone when we're all sitting in various areas, they'd probably benefit from having a sort of ticketing system displayed outside when their food is ready (or a loud speaker. By the time we were all practically done with our meal, one co-worker was still waiting for his meal and had to go to the front, receive an incorrect order and ended up just taking it home to go. This hasnt been my experience in the past and generally the food is pretty good so I'll just take it thst they were busy that day. It won't hinder me from going back in the future.

From the customer service to the food it was a 10/10 experience for me. Im a little under the weather and had the soup ( i forgot the name ) but it was chicken with potatoes, the slightest spice had me all the way right. The owner always comes out to greet everyone along with the beautiful decor I would def recommend.

Food is good here. It's more texmex. Salad was filling. Good service. Nice aesthetic here.

I recently sampled Dos Coyotes' Green Chile Stew at a fundraising event, and I came back on a weekday for lunch to get my fix! The service was quick and attentive, and to my surprise, my partner and I were able to order lunch for two for under $30! We dined in, and inside is well kept with unique Southwest decor and finishes. In addition to the Green Chile Stew, we also ordered the Yolo Mango burrito which came with chips and salsa. The salsa bar had lots of options, and the salsa Verde packed the right amount of heat. Our meals were not just well priced, but also delicious. I'd highly recommend if you're looking for quick service Mexican!

Good burritos, quesadillas, chips, and salsa! What more could you want?! I am pleasantly surprised by this place. I had the shrimp burrito and added the mild green sauce on it. What a great combination! Additionally, I had the quesadilla with hatch Chile. I added the steak which was a good choice! The fixings that they provide made it such a great quesadilla. Ambiance - you order in the front and the staff will bring you your food. It was a nice casual place to eat. I am coming back for more!

Some of the most consistent food you can get in the Natomas area. I highly recommend their burrito bowls and their new chicken wings!

You're greeted with a fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and an energy that makes you excited to be there. Since the restaurant was especially busy, we chose to sit at the bar. There was no wait, and the high-top seating was surprisingly comfortable. Our server was welcoming and attentive, and the service was fast from start to finish. Between the great music and lively atmosphere, you can't help but want to dance while you eat! I ordered one of my favorites--the chicken sope. It was perfectly crispy on the outside while still soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicken was packed with flavor, and the rice and beans were just as delicious. The salsa that came with it was the perfect finishing touch, adding just the right amount of spice and an extra kick of flavor. My hubby ordered one of the carne asada dishes (so sorry, I forgot the name!). He said it was one of the best cuts of meat he's had at a Mexican restaurant in a long time--super tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We had such a fun night! I definitely recommend Rosa Madera--10/10 for a date night, girls' night, or any excuse to enjoy great food and an even better atmosphere.

The only downside was that it was difficult to get in contact with the restaurant beforehand. I tried calling several times to make a reservation, but no one answered, and one call was even disconnected. Their website also only allows reservations for up to four people, even though they clearly accommodate larger celebrations for friends and families. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and in person service were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back!

I didn't read or listen carefully enough that the skirt steak with sauteed onions and bell peppers are covered in Spanish sauce. The sauce is actually quite tasty with a little kick. I used it and the salsa to flavor the black beans. However, I really just wanted grilled steak. I should have ordered steak fajitas, a grilled steak burrito or quesadilla, or a carne asada plate. The Steak a la Chicana was a generous portion, which is definitely 2 meals for me. Cilantro rice wasn't anything special. The SWEET CORN TAMALITO is yummy comfort. I visited this past Saturday and it was quite busy inside like it always is. The restaurant is large enough to fit a lot of people, so finding a seat isn't an issue. To order, you line up in front of the register and wait until they call you. Once it was my turn, I ordered a Super Burrito with Al Pastor, which is my favorite protein choice there. Usually I order 2 tacos with my burrito but I was saving room for Korean bbq that day! The Super Burrito comes with your choice of meat, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. I also ordered a medium pineapple agua fresca, which paired perfectly with my burrito. After ordering, you're handed a number to take to your table so the servers know where to bring your food. As I'm waiting for my food, I helped myself to the self-serve chip bar. The chip bar is my favorite thing about the restaurant besides the food and quick service. I always get loads of both the white and red pickled onions, and some salsa to go with my chips. They offer many sides to choose from so that anyone can customize their meal to their liking. The pickled onions have the perfect level spice and acidity to them which helps with cutting down the greasiness you may get from a burrito. I also like to snack on them for fun too! The food comes out extremely quickly. When I finished placing my order and brought my number to my table, I went to the self-serve bar right after to get some chips. Not even 2-3 minutes later, I came back to my table with my burrito already there! The burrito was absolutely delicious and piping hot. It's the perfect size for me and eating it with the pineapple agua fresca and some chips makes it a perfect meal! Coming to La Favorita Taqueria is always a treat and I appreciate the quick customer service, self-serve bar, and delicious food! They didn't just walk by like frazzled, hurried workers like most restaurants pushing through the crowds. They actually gave me a nice smile and said welcome, and then walked by. And then I got to the reception area found that there was already a pretty big crowd at around the 5:30 PM or so I guess a lot of early birds come to eat there on Sunday. The receptionist asked for how many and said you'd be like a 20 minute wait and there was chairs where people were waiting but it was only like a 15 minute wait. The server was fast with the chips and salsa and ice water and then soon the waiter came and took my order. He was really quick and witty, fun to talk to. What I really enjoyed was as the noise of the table Near quieted down and they left. I saw a young man cleaning up the table and getting it ready for the next group of people. He was dressed really nice and had a tie on. Having been in restaurants most of my life I said to myself, I bet you he works with the owners or something. And I said to him, are your related to people that own the place ? he said my parents own this place. He was very friendly and polite. He told me a tiny bit about the restaurant and how everything had been since 1970, much older than he was, he was only a sophomore in high school I think. I never really got his name, but I was kind of proud of him because he was working hard at his family's restaurant. I ordered probably something bigger than I could eat because I had to take leftovers home, but it was really a tasty meal, and they're coming out with more chips and salsa without being asked, probably didn't help as well as a second lemonade. It's really impressive when you have a well oiled machine and it appeared to me that the people that worked there seem to be happy so that's always a good sign of good management. Several years back, I worked in the restaurant industry doing maintenance and repairs so I went to a lot of different restaurants and saw a lot of things so I know what to look for. I'm definitely gonna come back when my brother and his wife come up from the Bay Area my friend Ivan he'll wanna go there for lunch or dinner I know.
