In addition to rice+beans (both beans), I got salsa verde, bell peppers/onion, cheese, chip toppings + Guac (extra $3.30 charge but it's yummy)! If you want decent food at a surprisingly affordable price point especially when you're a trapped audience in the form of airside of a major airport, look no further than Dos Toros. The staff were very efficient and one in particular was super warm and kind on top of the quick service. The food itself is standard fare; I got the chicken and it was tasty. You can customize your order and they don't really nickel and dime you beyond the usual guacamole add on which I appreciated. Took a star off because the layering & wrapping of the burrito was poor and meant that the ingredients weren't uniform/spread out & made for a very squat/fat burrito that was a mess to eat so eventually I had to pick at it with a fork lol. Unfortunately my experience was disappointing. This is a fake overpriced copycat of Chipotle in the airport. The ingredients look great, but the taste is not good. The grilled chicken is so BLAND. For the price I expected much better. Then again it is located in the airport. I don't really think airport food is good. If you're stuck in terminal C this is the best value you'll find. The bowl is very fresh, chicken, corn, salsa etc. $15 for one bowl is a steal. And tasty, as well as a generous portion. The sweet potato burrito I got from Dos Toros in LaGuardia's Terminal C is, hands down, the best airport lunch I've ever had. This Mission-style parcel of deliciousness started with a flour tortilla steamed before my eyes and layered with Mexican rice, black beans, spiced sweet potatoes. They topped with guacamole (extra charge), pico de gallo, pickled onions (superb!), and a fire-roasted tomato-based salsa. Pack extra napkins, since this baby comes tightly wrapped and generously stuffed with all of its ingredients. It was the perfect blend of flavors and textures, and so much food that I couldn't finish it. Best food bargain in LaGuardia Airport for sure. The guacamole isn't the best I've ever had, but it's decent enough that I was really glad I paid to add it. The salsa had a lovely smokiness to it, and the seasonings of the black beans and Mexican rice were excellent. Service was epic -- the two people behind the counter today absolutely deserve a raise because their customer service was WAY better than any I've ever encountered before at an airport. They made sure I went with black beans instead of pinto beans (thanks!), that I wasn't surprised by the extra charge for guac, and that I went on my way to my gate with a smile. Honestly, I expect airport meals to be a disappointment, and this one literally made my day better than it might have been. It's not glamorous food. It might not be your favorite Mexican food. But it was one heck of a burrito, and I'm really glad I got to close out my NYC food experience on this trip at this particular Dos Toros. I stopped into Dos Toros Taqueria for a quick bite. I saw they had a veggie bowl that you could load up with lots of fresh looking items and I gave them a try. I had my bowl layered with rice and beans (the refried beans are vegetarian) and added lettuce, salsa, pico, potatoes, some corn and a few other veggies. Everything was fresh and tasty and served quickly. I especially appreciated the person who assembled my bowl as she let me know that the beans and refried beans were indeed vegetarian. That was helpful as sometimes the refried beans at other places contain lard, or the black beans are made with some meat. But not here, which is great. I enjoyed my bowl, it was the right amount that filled me up and kept me full for a while. Certainly a good, healthier option in the LGA airport. I'll certainly be back. read more

I ordered a rice and beans bowl, thinking it would be $9.98 as listed on the menu. I added queso, Brussels, pico, corn salsa, and guac. Got to the register and it was $21 with tax. It's like they charged $2 per topping. I got maybe a tablespoon of queso, the Brussels sprouts were so salty, I have sores on my tongue, and the guac had tons of cilantro stems in it. I was scammed by a cashier (don't know her name) and a helper by the name of JuJu (they both work on the same shift yesterday, May 30, 2025). A friend of mine payed for his burrito and mine and an orange juice. They charged him. Friend left to Florida, was in a hurry. That was around 9:45 am as it was still a morning menu. It's Dos Toros at La Guardia airport-New York. They knew (JuJu and cashier) that my friend left and first JuJu said that I have to pay for the difference as I added queso in my burrito. It's not about money but extreme injustice that will not be tolerated. They just used my $20.50 as their tip. I am sure that they do that as we are travelers and scamming is not ok. It's just chipotle with higher prices and extra steps. I did not like my food at all, and the service was nonexistent. You're yelled at to get your order prepared, and they'll charge you for things because they can't hear you say "no guacamole" over the 6 other people yelling at other customers while they prepare food. Myself and my coworkers all ordered bowls and each of us was charged for things that we told them we didn't want (nor did we actually have the items). I was charged for chips, and they made me open my bag to verify that I didn't have them. Same for my friend who stated that he was allergic to guac so he specifically said "no guac". They opened his burrito to check. They ended up giving us credits, but we said we wouldn't be back and just wanted refunds (my other coworkers burrito was missing MEAT). Like make it make sense. Located inside the new Terminal B at Lagaurdia airport, Dos Toros is very similar to a Chipotle but with a few differences. I ordered the Carne Plato (bowl) with Farro as my base. I've had Farro one other time before this but this one was done right. The steak had just finished coming out. Cooked perfectly at medium to medium well and seasoned wonderfully. To this I added grilled onions and peppers, lettuce, corn, sour cream, and cheese. This was by far the best combination for me. They do charge extra for guacamole. With a small bottle of Fiji water, my bill was around $22, which is super expensive. One reason you get a one star reduction. I understand we sometimes pay more for convenience but it's pretty steep.
