I have been to this location multiple times and the lady has never been friendly but until last night she was at least semi respectful. I went into the location and she told me I wasn't allowed there because I had a backpack. To be fair I understand why they have that rule, many businesses have similar rules to keep transient people out, so I explained that I get it and there's really nothing inside the backpack except a gaming controller I had to exchange which is why I even have a backpack. I'm clearly not a transient person. I drive a decent car, dress well and am clean cut. The backpack was a 95% empty new Nike backpack not some old dusty thing packed full of crap. I accepted the loss after a short argument and left. On second though I walked back in to ask The associate her name. Before I could even speak she said and no you can't plug your phone in. She refused to tell me her name or her managers name and was rude and disrespectful and I will never return. I frequent many dottys, mostly in the beaverton/Hillsboro area and have never had an unpleasant experience with the staff before. read more

This is a good Dottys location on 100th stark, except for Carrie...she is the rudest employee I have ever had to deal with...and we frequent quite a few....she has no people kills and has no business working in this field! Customer service is horrible here ! The blonde bartender Cathy is extremely rude and kicked me out after sitting at a video poker machine that had no money in it and was unoccupied. She literally rushed me from behind the counter and got into my face saying that an older lady was playing there and I had to get up. I have no explanation for the way I was treated and the only thing I could come up with is that the older lady was tipping her well or it was because of the color of my skin . I politely left and asked her for her name (which she hesitated to give me) and I got the store corporate # where she pointed to it on the wall. I am not even a strong gambler, I was just going to pass some time there while I waited for my food to finish next store. I would say that they would have attacked me over that video poker machine, that's how intense it was. I have never been talked to and treated in such a degrading manner and I was mortified after . I tried calling the customer feedback number and leaving a voice mail with my name, number and incident time but sadly no one has returned my call . read more

I have been to many Dotty's locations across Portlandia. This was the best experience I have had today with their "Taco Tuesday" all-you-can-eat taco promotion. They had meat even late in the afternoon. Many times you have to come early around lunch, because sometimes in the evenings they tend to run out of supplies. With your Dotty's free membership card the meal is only $2. Overall, you need to be over 21 because the place is a bar with video lottery machines. Bring your IDs. read more

My wife just went to this location today. She likes to go to this location to play the machines. She has been told in the past she gets free sodas. She frequently goes there and the staff is fairly rude. Tonight she went up and asked for a soda. They mixed Dr Pepper and something else that she thought was Sierra Mist. I have been going to this Dottys for 10+ years. I walked in a few days ago to get MY bank card from my husband who was on the video lottery. The employee lady asked for my ID and I stood there and waited and waited and she's just like in space. I go over to my husband get my bank card and as I am leaving the employee says "Don't come back". And I still had my ID in my hand and I was like, what? Didn't you see my ID?" And she just ignored me. There was a man employee standing next to her. I cant believe i was kicked out of Dottys for walking in to get MY bank card. My husband spent all the money we had to live on and now life is completely awful, and to be told I can't come back because I wanted MY bank card so we could get a little food before everything went lost to Dottys income. So real nice. Real nice. Spend hundreds and hundreds at Dottys and the thanks I get is to "Dont come back". I dont like bars so Dottys was an alright place in the past. But never again I suppose. I have excruciating back pain walked up to Dottys a 30 minute walk i could not just stand there for 10 minutes while she was lost in space not looking at my ID which I clearly was showing her. No other bar has ever treated me like this. DOTTYS - GET BETTER EMPLOYEES! If im not allowed to walk in a place to get MY own card back then they should make a sign on the door! I see a lot of recent complaints against these newer employees. I have 24/7 agonizing misery pain, and this happened days ago and im still really hurt!! I like purchasing $ 2.00 and $ 1.00 Scratch Its here at this Location in Mall 205. I've even Had the Winning Scratch It, before. :) This storefront is located in the Same Parking Lot and Building as Baja Fresh ( in case you didn't know ). I walk past this Dotty's on my way to my Gym. Sometimes, though Outside on the Sidewalk is a Scruffy ( mostly it's different Men, though ) looking White Man waiting for something. Sometimes, it's a Person, sometimes it's a Meal ( that the Man is looking for help in purchasing ). I don't like that I get asked so many Times a Day for a Hand Out, but it still happens! I am giving this Dotty's only Four out of Five Stars because of the White Man that is usually waiting on something Outside. read more

Employees here are rude. I've given this location the benefit of the doubt several times, but I am done. I took a little extra time in the bathroom once and the employee came banging on the door to tell me I needed to hurry. On a separate visit, my husband was playing a machine and I called his mobile phone. He answered, not knowing about their policy of no phones, (he wasn't being loud or obnoxious on the phone, he hates taking calls in businesses so he was quick and quiet) and the employee came and embarrassed him in front of the other customers telling him to get off the phone. He asked why they didn't have a sign posted and was told there was a sign on the door, he looked at the door and there was no sign. A third occasion, I bought cigarettes and they turned out to be the wrong ones. The woman behind the counter refused to exchange them even though I had just paid for them and it wasn't my fault she gave me the wrong pack. I'm done going to this place. It's not worth it to leave aggravated every time. read more
