Found this restaurant on Yelp before a trip to Cleveland! I wanted a little boozy brunch before heading to the Ravens/Browns game. We arrived a little bit after 11 and there was a 15-20 minute wait. It was busy for brunch! We ended up getting seated at the bar. My husband got the fried cat fish, and I got the NY strip. I also opted for the bottomless mimosas for $30. Our food took a bit to come out but it was fine just enjoying the ambiance (and they were busy). When the food came, I tried my husbands catfish which was really yummy! The NY strip steak was a really thin steak which I was a tad disappointed in, but overall the portion sizes were large and for the price ($27) it still felt like it was worth it. Their potatoes were super crispy too which I enjoyed. The staff were all very nice and even welcoming to us as Ravens fans :P

Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the flavor of the waffle. The bartender was an amazing server, Daryl (Not a guy)! Great ambience and music playing. There was a little confusion on seating but after it got worked it was all good. The hostess, Lauren, had the most amazing smile and was accommodating, at first she didn't look happy, then after we talked she showed that amazing smile. I look forward to coming back!

Speedy service with great breakfast and brunch food! Not the best views through their windows, and a little hard to find, but centrally located in downtown. The interior, service and food make the experience worth it! A great brunch spot to try

We found this cute place near our hotel in Cleveland. Service was friendly but it did take a long time for our food to come out. They have homemade jam for their biscuits. I ordered salmon croquettes with grits and eggs over medium, delicious! Coffee was good too!

I got the catfish, shrimp, and grits but subbed for fried catfish. The catfish was perfectly fried and crispy. The sauce was a tad bit too runny for me. It tasted really good, but something in it made me feel nauseous halfway through my meal. My friend had the same reaction and couldn't finish hers. Could have been something we had prior. The French toast my other friend ordered looked very good.

I was looking for something good and hearty near the library during a conference and I found Double Nickel on my way to somewhere else. Normally my meals require way more research but I decided to take a chance. I enjoyed my meal overall. Under smooth R&B I got a good plate quickly and I felt like I was at an aunties house. My food came out hot except for the potatoes, which really needed some love and attention. Service was good for a busy Saturday morning but I was not a fan of the automatic gratuity.

Favorite meal of the day is always brunch and finding new and delicious options is a hobby for me. This place was on my radar for a few months and I'm glad we made it on a Sunday afternoon. 1. Location: downtown which I enjoy - I didn't have high hopes for parking and needed to valet for $25. arrived around 1pm and were seated right away in the ht the cozy space with tons of windows and lighting. 2. Ambience- it was game day and I like to see basketball or football when I'm out- they had several large screens. About midway through the meal a DJ setup and played some nice R&B throughout the rest of brunch which my kids and I loved 3. Food- the menu was small but when it comes to brunch if you do it right you don't need too much. I was with my 6 yr old and 17 yr old and we found items for everyone's taste. The shrimp and grits was seasoned to perfection with great portions. The steak and eggs were right the first time. I snuck a bite of the chicken and waffles which were light as well. I can't give them any more stars because we waited nearly 30 minutes for the check. I received a water refill once in the 1.5 hour visit. That part of the visit was disappointing.

Excellent food. Down home southern breakfast in downtown Cleveland! They give you big portions and the food was flavorful. Service for the most part was really good. They get really busy and I don't believe they accept reservations. So expect a wait if it's the weekend. (There is a counter that is first come first serve which could be quicker than getting seated at a table) Valet parking is available right in front but you may be able to find cheaper street parking in the area.

Ended up adding their homemade sausage for an additional $3 which was decent but I'd probably go without it next time. 5/5 Ohio cheesy grits were also good--tasted different from the savory biscuits and gravy especially with the corn. The Rowley Inn is located in a nice neighborhood (Tremont) across the street from the Christmas Story house. I had three meals there. The first, loaded pierogis, was the ultimate comfort dish. Pierogis with potato centers were covered in diced kielbasa, bacon (yes, bacon), and covered in cheddar cheese. Ahhhhh. The others at my table raved about the kielbasa and pierogi dish. They also liked the beer selection. How do you know you have a great find? You think about the meal long after it is consumed. Next meal- breakfast. I had the kielbasa and pierogi omelet. Need I say more? Finally, we came back a third time and I ordered the burger. No burger place (save Chuckbox in Tempe, AZ) can match the Rowley burger. The burger is actually seasoned and cooked to order. I had it medium rare. Sheer perfection. Typing this review makes me sad because I live far away from Cleveland. As service waned throughout my meal. The bacon wrapped tots are a MUST TRY. Fantastic! The steak frites was also very good. I've been to nice steak joints that don't know how to cook a steak medium that consistently throughout. My initial water glass was cracked, and a decent chip in the top almost cut my lip. I brought it to the servers attention and she replaced it. And, I also ordered an Arnold Palmer, which never came. It upsets her stomach. Maria was very honest and said yes, it has lots of onions. And she is not a fan of it for that reason. We thanked her and went to our 2nd choices. I got a chicken avo club and Kathy got the BLT with an egg and on ciabatta bread. My chicken avo club was good. Just very sloppy. The avocado made it too slippery to stay on the bread. The first half I was able to keep it on. 2nd half I had to deconstruct it and eat it piece by piece with a fork and knife. Still good. Just not in sandwich form. The Cajun potato's were very good too. Kathy also enjoyed her BLT. Place is cute. Lots of artwork on the walls you can buy. Parking is right in the lot by the entrance. Easy peazy. It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted. Monkey bread is usually gooey and sweet. This missed the mark, but that's okay. I'll certainly return for another treat soon. Also the bread was looking fire this day.
