    Club sandwich and chips.
    Cheryl D.

Stopped while passing through. Kids eat free with an adult purchase over $10. Delicious sandwiches and they have to go salads, desserts, coffee and lattes. We had the chicken wrap on jalapeño cheddar tortilla and club panini. Kids PB and J. All tasty. Kettle chips come in a small paper bag. Tasty but the bag was grease soaked which made me think twice about eating them all! Tables and floors were clean. Staff was accommodating, helpful and friendly. Will definitely stop again. Close to I90. Lots of army and national guard members stopped in. Brisk business. Attached to a BP gas station across from an antique mall. Great food!

I was excited to see this Great Harvest on the main street during our recent visit to Wisconsin…read moreDells. One of our favorite shops in Vienna, Virginia had been the Great Harvest there but, alas, we moved away about 15 months ago. Plus, both of our daughters had worked at the Great Harvest in Vienna when they were teenagers, so the chain has a special place in our hearts. We HAD to go in. Offerings. (5/5). Like the Vienna shop, this Great Harvest offers a wide variety of freshly baked breads, muffins, scones, cookies, tea loaves, and other sweets, and dry cereals (oatmeal, granola). They carried some bread varieties we hadn't tried before (Strawberry Loaf) and didn't have some of our favorites (Apple Scrapple). Unlike in Vienna, they also sell hot and cold breakfast foods, sandwiches, and even dog treats. Signage was good, highlighting the daily bread offerings. A menu at the counter showed breakfast and lunch options. Our purchases. (4/5). We bought two muffins ($3 each), "Groovy" granola ($8), and a tub of vanilla honey butter ($5). Taxes were already included. All items were tasty. Took off a point for "value." The items were somewhat expensive but not outrageously so. Ambiance. (2/5). The shop has indoor and outdoor tables, as well as a comfy-looking couch area to relax in. Ordering is done at a counter in the middle, where there are also racks and display cases with the breads and sweets offerings. Displays are well-spaced. The low rating is because some of the shelves were disheveled and the yellow-colored couches looked downright dirty. (See photo). I shared the photo with a friend who asked whether the couch came from a fraternity house. Service. (3/5). The young man at the counter was friendly enough, but didn't offer a sample from the tasting board until we asked him to. We wanted to try the vanilla honey butter that we had seen in one of the refrigerated cases.

What a gem in Mauston!…read more We're here for a baseball tournament, and I stopped in to grab a couple of sandwiches to throw in the cooler. I had the chicken salad, and it was absolutely delicious--unique, with a few surprise ingredients and a sweet chili drizzle that completely made it. I'll definitely be stealing that idea for my own chicken salad. I also ordered the smoked turkey cranberry hoagie for later. When I asked if it would be possible to have the bread on the side so it wouldn't get soggy, the team at the counter went above and beyond, individually wrapping all of the ingredients so I could put together a fresh sandwich for dinner. Such thoughtful customer service. I couldn't leave without trying the toffee pretzel cookie, and wow... it was to die for. I shared it with a few of the other team parents, and the first question was whether you sell them by the dozen! This will absolutely be a repeat stop every year for this tournament, and probably several times throughout our stay in Mauston. Great food, incredible customer service, a fresh produce stand in the back, and the cutest little shop filled with unique finds. Highly recommend!

We stopped here for sandwiches on our way through town. Not far off the freeway, it's convenient…read more The decor was very cozy and cabin-like. Staff was excellent. We split a club sandwich which was more than big enough. All ingredients were fresh. I loved the fresh bacon. Yum! I had a fun time perusing the items around the store for purchase. So many local options. As we still had a few hours to go on our journey, I skipped the cheese (although it looked amazing) and chose some 'travel' beef sticks. So good. Lots of tables for seating. I was disappointed that they wouldn't fill my water bottle with tap water but I enjoyed the bottled lemonade as a replacement. Good experience.
