Private brunch catering; trendy details and delicious fabulous fare.

Jeffrey and Meridith Kaplan, the owners, are the warmest and most wonderful caterers. They treat you like family. I recently hosted a huge brunch here that was truly Pinterest worthy. The food and menu were fabulous- from the delicious bottomless mimosas to the hot pancakes, hash browns, gourmet meats and gorgeous insta worthy hand passed eggs Benedicts. The decor and set up was gorgeous. Now that Green Turtle catering is gone, Melbourne is fortunate to have Double Tapp Grille and PSB, Palm Shores Bistro, (their other location) to fill the void. They also do off-site catering for office parties, dinner parties, weddings and other life events. Choose them with confidence for all your catering needs!

It is a restaurant next to/attached to a shooting range. I have eaten here a few times and did not want to judge too harshly.....but if you are going to serve food serve good food. We ordered up the sweet tea and it was pretty good. We had some fried okra but it came out without any way to eat it.....hello toothpicks skewers or perhaps a fork? The ranchh was rancid. I almost got sick right there.....something in my head said taste it....do not eat it...glad I did. The burger was servicable and my "club" was more like a dagwood then a club. It had lots of meat but I expected a club.....which has three pieces of bread. Our server really played up the sassy country girl schtick but it wore thin quickly. a ok place to grab a bite but not going to see any Michelin stars here any time soon. @kodiak_kuisine #kodiak_kuisine

Frog bones for the win this #valentinesday ! I did some of my best shooting today (just kidding I totally chickened out and my husband shot all my rounds ) . Either way our day was spent together and our package included dinner and drinks @doubletappgrill ! We started with #gatortail and #shrimpcocktail . The mango mahi and burger hit the spot and we ended on a sweet note with #chocolatecoveredstrawberries . Any day spent with my love is a good day but frog bones and @doubletappgrill made it even better! . #supportlocal #smallbusiness #brevarscounty #spacecoast #localbusiness #shootingguns #brevardcountyevents

Double Tapp Grill is an amazing place the food is awesome great breakfast great service outstanding location conveniently located on US1 in Melbourne and recently under new management it's a must stop if your in the area or just looking for a great cup of coffee. If your a member of Frog Bones gun range or just stopping by to check out a gun or pick up ammo you should take the time to check it out prices are very reasonable food is excellent large portions service is great very friendly staff. If you have ever eaten at PSB then you will love Double Tapp same owners with a top notch chef. Full bar beautiful dining room with plenty of choices on the menu and seasonal specials.

New little location. They ate part for a indoor shooting range. It's pretty cool. You know after blowing throught a thousand rounds. I get petty hungry and my muscles need some fresh protein to recover from all the recoil. You don't actually hear any guns going off inside the restaurant area and would never know there is a range only 50 feet away. The set up is a petty open cafe style. Nice new and clean. I really like the woods work around the bar. The blue quartz counter tops look really nice. Staff wad friendly. The food was great. I mean it's not a five star resort. But it's like a neighborhood bar. Food is good, we were very happy. Plenty of TV's displaying sports. So it would make a cool hang out location. Bottom line: We will return.

One big new building. A gun store and indoor pistol and rifle ranges on one side and a restaurant on the other. Its an interesting concept and I like it alot. The service here is very good. Seated promptly and order taken right away. Follow ups by our server making sure we were happy was appreciated. I ordered a cup of the special soup made of frog leg and gator meat. It had a light tomato base and vegetables. It was very tasty and an appreciated rarity. The cuban wrap too was very tasty. Everything thats usually in a cuban all wrapped up tight and hot. I look forward to my next visit.

Double Tapp Grill- Melbourne 4.5 Stars In my very younger years I served as what is now known as a "first responder." The term double tapp comes from the order of your training officer to place two bullets center mass to the chest of your adversary. The connotation as it applies to this restaurant is apropos. The Double Tapp Grill is really an ancillary afterthought to the gun shoppe and gun range attached to this Eatery. While the range and gun store are filled with people deluded by the Babbittry of their lives, little do they know the exquisite taste delights that exist just a few feet away. The menu here is unique I ordered fried cheese curds, gator tail and frog legs. The curds were fried and I knew immediately they had been prepared on premises. The batter is light and allows the flavor of the cheese to shine. The frog legs were light fried with no batter. I found this to be original because usually cooks turn them into chicken wings but here they were quick fried, then daintily covered in a mango habanero sauce that had the proper balance and depth of flavor. The gator tail however was the real star. Alligator essentially always bland. Gideon, the chef at Double Tapp, has created a dredge that knocks your socks off. It is full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I could have eaten another order they are so good. The owners of this restaurant really care about their food quality and it is so nice to see. Bravo!!! Big Boy says Try It!!!! #bigboydiningout #iamthebigboy bigboydining.com

This is a sports bar grill. Not a full restaurant. But for what it is, it's excellent. Just like the reviewers say, great juicy burgers. No noise from the range. The service was good, my mahi mahi was very good, grilled.

The grilled white fish was also very good and was prepared blackened. Flaky moist portion and the fries were delicious too. Chicken tender salad was bright and fresh. A large portion too with half being taken home for lunch the next day. Saved the worst for last and it was flavorful but could have been a tad crispier. The Monte Cristo sandwich. In 1926, Alelaida "Mama" Cuellar's tamales were a massive hit at the county fair. Two years later, they opened their first restaurant in Kaufman, TX. The 11th opened in Six Flags Over Texas and is credited with introducing Mexican food to the American masses. In 1940, Mama Cuellar's children opened the first El Chico Cafe in Dallas, TX. Susan was my outstanding service professional for the meal. I asked Susan for an order of their Chorizo Tacos, a Grande Pollo Burrito and a side of chips and salsa. Susan brought my order out in no time and after snapping a few pics, I got to work. I always wonder if cooks smell the ingredients before they start using them OR do they smell them, realize they are not so fresh anymore, and think the dining public won't notice? Either way, this cook deserves strong jobation for this dish. The Chorizo meat was not good; it wasn't rancid, but if you opened the walk-in, I wouldn't be surprised if it was seen beating up the tomatoes as it was undoubtedly turning bad. Moving on to the Grande Pollo Burrito - the hero of this meal. Even though the chicken was a tad on the rubbery side (my guess is heated up in the microwave, but I could be wrong), the rice, beans and other fillings were excellent. While a bit chewy, the chicken was fajita-flavored and served with a beautiful chipotle wine sauce. The rice was cooked to perfection and the frijoles rancheros were succulently seasoned. If the chicken hadn't been nuked, it would have been fantastic. This brings me to what passed as chips and salsa in this cuchara grasosa. Please look at that pic and tell me that's not a cup of ketchup with a smattering of spice sprinkled in. It sure as Texas didn't taste like salsa. The chips were OK, but the salsa was not. Big Boy says, " 20 years ago, this was fantastic Tex-Mex. Today? Too much top-notch competition makes this yesterday's chimichangas."

They have pieces of pork in them and are perfect. I could eat an order of just beans and be happy. I've also recently discovered their sausages, which pair so well with the spicy barbecue. Their coconut cream pie and chocolate pie are delightful too. I've never eaten in here so I can't speak to the actual restaurant experience.
