Great hotel with reasonable rates. Pet friendly and rooms are very spacious. I didn't try any of their amenities but they didn't look nice and up to date.

The back space is breathtaking, and even better yet, they are double booked for weddings so they can share the beautiful space! The service, Tim, was awesome. So knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant. They normally don't allow the space in the back to be open for dinner but for us they made the exception! For dinner I had the meatloaf, I love me some comfort food. Honestly it tastes like it was nuked so it wasn't my taste, hence the rating, but the space makes up for it! The best thing, you get vouchers for their good continental breakfast and one free drink when you stay at the hotel.

Mostly a bar crowd, amost 100% male on Tuesday.

Note: This review is for the Karma Pub only, the dining area of this hotel. From the pictures posted here you can easily deduce that this is primarily a bar but it also has a reasonably good food menu. We came here on a Tuesday night and from the number of cars in the parking lot near the door to the restaurant section, we thought it was going to be deserted. It turns out that this bar has a substantial crowd from the guests of the hotel. Most of them seemed only to be drinking. There are several tables near the back of the room that are of the reasonable height for dining and we found a spot there. The menu here is fairly eclectic and we ordered the butter chicken and the three meat Italian panini. The chicken was as authentic as in any nearby Indian restaurant and the panini while fairly mild was well-made and stuffed with meat. It was served with a choice of sides; we had the tater tots. Service on this night was provided by the bartenders and they did an excellent job. Locals who are passing up this place because they think of it as a typical hotel bar are missing out on some great casual dining.

So yesterday, I got a bowl of great French Onion Soup. Browned on top and all. Today I get a microwaved-cup of French Onion Soup. Tastes good, but come on.

Karma Pub, attached to the hotel, serves a tasty burger, fries, and pickle. Mark, the bartender, was attentive and friendly.

The friendly guy at the counter said that they are changing their name as per the new storefront sign. This is a casual Mexican bakery with great prices. Loved all food items that I chose & I didn't chose his recommendations so those might even be better. He recommended items with ginger, coconut & traditional delights. We also did not warm up the pastries so that is how delicious the bakery items were Everything was so fresh tasting & hit the spot. I appreciate that things were not overly sweet. Recommended items: -Pineapple empanadas. -This square custard tart with real blueberries in it. -Strawberry churros. I look forward to hikes that will lead me back down this way & trying more yummy items.

I feel like it was hard to review this place. I had read so many great reviews that maybe I went in…read morewith too high of expectations. To start, there were way more bakery items here than I expected! It was pretty overwhelming, making it difficult to decide what to get (and to figure out what is good). I picked up a variety of different treats: tres leches cake, flan, churros, concha bread, and rice pudding empanada. The results were mixed. As everyone has said, the tres leches cake is superb and is probably the highlight of what they make at this bakery. The other standout was the rice pudding empanada. There are no signs that say what the different pastries are so we picked it out and took a chance. It ended up being a pleasant surprise. Just perfectly sweet. But, it would be nice if they could put up signs so customers can decide what they want without having to ask staff. The churros were pretty hard and stale by the time we got them in the middle of the day. Perhaps they taste better when they are fresh. Otherwise, would not recommend. The concha bread was huge and super soft! But overall, the flavor was light and was not as sweet as I would have liked. The flan I did not mind, but my family thought it was way too firm. Overall, this bakery was too far out of my way to come back to. There were some standout items, but there were also a lot of other items that were pretty lackluster.
