Michael handled all the business and clearly explained to me in my home what equipment options were available (all Lennox via Costco) and what payment options and benefits were available to Costco members. I took a few different estimates from other companies and although I found comparable equipment and installations that might have priced out cheaper than Around the Clock, the benefits received from Costco for CostcoCash along with direct cash refunds made them very appealing. Michael is very patient in the process of answering any and all questions regarding the equipment, installation, etc. The installation was smooth and painless. The team of two installers were polite and professional. They worked clean which is greatly appreciated. The installation took about a day and a half. End result: I'm very satisfied with my experience with Around the Clock. A very professional installation with great customer service. The new system has completely transformed the comfort level of my home. It's already been battle tested in this SGV summer and I couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence in deciding whether or not Around the Clock is a vendor you'd like to use, I whole heartedly recommend them.

The first tech found "no issues" and left. *Inflated $2,401 Quote: On visit #2, they finally confirmed the failing ECM motor and quoted $2,401.20 out of pocket, claiming it was out of warranty. *Active 10-Year Warranty Ignored: I called the manufacturer (Carrier/Day & Night) directly and verified the unit is under an active 10-year Enhanced Parts Warranty ($0 OEM part cost at the counter). *Refused Warranty Exchange: After I provided the official Carrier registration confirmation number, they admitted they aren't an authorized Carrier dealer and insisted I pay the entire $2,401 upfront and wait on a potential $1,151 reimbursement. Even with their math, they were charging over $1,250 in pure labor for a 2-hour swap.

From the start, scheduling was simple and communication was fast and responsive. David went above and beyond to track down the replacement parts quickly and took the time to walk us through the repair process, answering all of our questions with patience and care. We really appreciated his professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail. The itemized quote was sent promptly by email, making everything clear and straightforward. Thank you again to David and Pioneers.

I assumed it was the AC unit sitting right above it, so I contacted Pioneers in a mild panic. They quickly put me in touch with Tomer, who showed up that same afternoon to take a look. From the moment he arrived, Tomer was calm, kind, and completely professional, which is exactly what you want when you're stressed about water dripping through your ceiling. He diagnosed the problem efficiently: our AC drip pan had overflowed due to a clogged drain pipe. He walked us through everything as he went, answering every question we threw at him without making us feel like we were slowing him down. He needed a couple of additional parts he didn't have on hand, so he promised to return Monday morning to finish the job. And he did, right on time. When yet another part turned out to be needed mid-repair, he didn't reschedule or leave us hanging. He went out, got it himself, and came straight back to finish what he started. No drama, no delays. While he was up in the attic, he also flagged some rat droppings and other pest concerns. But not in a pushy, upsell-y way, but just as a heads-up. "Here's what I'm seeing, I can get you a quote if you want." Refreshingly straightforward. Tomer turned a stressful Sunday emergency into a resolved problem by Monday afternoon. Thanks Pioneers H&A!

My HOA unit has been losing power the past few days and they spent extensive time teaching me the ins and outs of building code and proper ampage. They were able to tell me that I have been given low ampage for my home and that wasn't built to code so they were able to write an extensive report to send to my HOA. I cannot thank Arthur enough who answered probably over 20 of my questions over the phone. He's been diligent and knowledgeable throughout the process. You guys are fantastic. I would give ten stars. I'm not even kidding.

When additional work was discovered--breaking concrete and repairing another three feet of pipe--I was verbally quoted a total of $6,500, which I agreed to. I was never informed or consulted about charges totaling $10,000, which is what I was ultimately invoiced. The foreman pressured me to sign the contract without fully explaining it, and I felt taken advantage of given my age and understanding. There were also concerns about missing copper piping from my basement after the job was completed. The lack of clear communication, unexpected billing, and unresolved issues made this a very frustrating experience.
