I've been coming here for 2 years now and they always meet my expectations with their car services. My oil and tire light came on a few days ago and I decided to take the car in without an appointment. Once again, they were very accommodating. I like that I am able to take my laptop into their lounge area and get some work done. Their tables have power and USB outlets. If you show up early enough, they will have free pastries. I am beyond disappointed with the predatory service practices at this Nissan location. My wife brought our vehicle in for a simple oil change, and as I expected, they immediately began pushing unnecessary services. The most egregious issue occurred when they claimed the oil pan bolt was "bored out" and insisted we needed a $350+ replacement. This same service at Nissan in Cerritos was quoted at $1,200.00 the lack of consistency is staggering. Furthermore, the advisor, Morie or however you spell his name tried to charge us for a tire rotation when in the video it was a recommendation from the technician which means they didn't do it. When I pointed out that their own technician said in the video a rotation couldn't be done until we replaced the front tires, Morie admitted the rotation hadn't been performed and only removed the charge because I caught him. He is someone to lookout for To make matters worse, they are charging $350 for a part that retails for $60 at major stores, claiming "different materials" with no evidence to back it up. I caught Morie in his lies. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the situation was handled poorly. I will not be returning, and I suggest others PLEEEEEEASE double-check their itemized bills before paying or just don't go here again. read more

If negative stars was an option this place would be negative 10. Their entire operation from start to finish is horrible and dishonest. I spoke with a salesman online, I knew exactly what I wanted, I was returning a Nissan Rogue lease in great condition which should've counted towards a trade-in as well, and I had a down ready for my Kicks that I wanted. I did my research and even had an estimate for what my monthly payment would look like (from their dealership, not corporate) with all fees/my down included. I know I have excellent credit so I thought this would be an easy transaction. I was very, very wrong. We did the whole look at the car and test drive thing, then we got down to discussing money. They wanted $100+ more than what I had seen quoted again from their dealership. While I understand it can fluctuate, it shouldn't be that different. They didn't run my credit and give me a full breakdown like I requested multiple times. Once I brought what I had printed from their website thinking they would honor it, they dropped it just a little and gave me a very high level breakdown of what I had asked for. They told me the sheet that I had wasn't really accurate. They charged for "accessories" but when I asked what that was and why it was being tacked on to the car after it was already part of the purchase price, they couldn't even tell me what "accessories" were except the clear protective film on the doors. That much money for something that already comes on the car?? I finally agree to a number I can deal with, after putting $3k down, I was annoyed I even had to go that high because not only did I have my calculation sheet from their dealership website, everywhere on tv they're advertising as low as $250 a month with $2k down and based on credit. The salesman even told me he wouldn't have put as much as I did down. Did it get me a fair deal? No! I get to finance and he's pushing all of these extra packages and protection plans I declined because I felt I just got raked over the coals with the salesman. During my initial interaction with the salesman, he said if you come in now, before your payment is due in November, we will cover the final payment for your Rogue lease. So I figured great. This is part of the paperwork I signed. The payment was taken from my account in November as was a duplicate payment in October that I just found out about today. I contact the dealership to help me resolve this so that I can get refunded. I get no help. I also, was not able to access all of the contracts/paperwork I had signed. For weeks I reached out calling and e-mailing and nothing. This went on into December. Meanwhile, I am getting contacted by Nissan who thinks I still have the car two months after I left it at their dealership. They never grounded the car and took ownership like they said they would. I had to call Nissan Finance to find all of this out. They let me know that no payment had been made for my November payment and the car had 't been grounded so until that happened I would receive a refund until 21 days after they went through that whole process. So I e-mail the dealership again and tell them how unsatisfied I am and that I will be posting about my experience and someone finally responds. They escalate it to the GM. He calls and gives me a load of crap about it being a clerical error on their end and that they're doing everything they can to get this squared away for me. This was on a Friday he said he would contact me Monday to update me. That was almost two weeks ago and I have received no such call and we are in January. I call today, after speaking with Nissan Finance again because I found out now, I was double charged in October and a check was on its way for that refund (which is yet another battle I have to fight because the amount is nearly $100 less than what was paid) and that they haven't received any payment for my November payment in order to refund that as well. And you guessed it, no call back from management. This has been the absolute worst experience, I will never recommend them or Nissan as a whole to anyone. This is how they treat customers, it's despicable. They should be ashamed of themselves. I hope nobody has to go through what I am going through. read more

Complaint for the Parts Department I work for a family business and we regularly purchase parts from many different dealers and vendors. Unfortunately, my recent experience with your parts department was disappointing and reflects poorly on customer service standards. As a woman, when I'm purchasing large and heavy boxes, I expect at the very least to be offered assistance. Instead, I found myself struggling to carry two large boxes along with my purse, while also trying to get through the door. No one offered to help open the door, and I even had to manage opening my trunk without dropping anything. This is not just about courtesy, it's about basic customer service. There were three men behind the counter, and the department was not busy at the time, yet no one offered assistance. I spent over $1,000 on product, and yet I've received better service at a fast-food chick filet restaurant. Nissan, we can do better. It's embarrassing to walk into a room full of men and not experience a single act of professionalism or courtesy. Please train your staff to recognize situations where customers need help and to step up accordingly. read more

She said that it will not hit my credit for 30 days and wasn't a problem. Then when I was at Downey Angel was the sales rep I worked with. After two hours Angel told that the bank they were working with wanted a trade in. Which was a non-factor from my conversation with Claudia. Angel apologized about. Later I called Claudia back and told here what happened and she said she'd check on what happened. When I called back to see what happened she told me that since the my repossession was so recent (which earlier was a non-factor) was the issue. At this point Claudia said the bank needed a co-signer: again a new factor. Although Claudia and Angel were nice and professional but the factors changed!!! Unfortunately, after buying a lemon from these people, and going through a surprisingly smooth buy back process, we decided to purchase yet another Nissan. I mean, they even provided a rental while they attempted to fix the lemon. So why not trust Nissan again? Huge Mistake. The purchase process for the new Nissan was terrible. They rushed and pressured through the entire process, the salesman left before delivery, we received our car without plates- it was a mess. I felt that kicking us in the rear and pushing us towards our car would have been a nicer process for this purchase. It wasn't even closing time. A second Lemon? Our car's driver seat began MOVING while driving. We went in, they provided a "Loaner", but then called us and demanded we bring back the "loaner" because Nissan no longer covers loaner cars- stating "Nissan is just not that big of a company" ‍ they stated I could just pick up our car while they wait for a part. "So it's safe to drive with a moving seat?" I asked. They gave me the same BS response. So we went ahead without a car- a week passed. I called them (surely they could never bother to call to give an update) and stated they were waiting for a "second" part now. Our app showed our battery (EV) was draining while parked- something that never happens. Looks like someone was conviniently using it as a break room or driving it around to use as their vehicle the whole time. "Oh so you want us to charge it?" Asked Saul with a smart attitude when I let him know we've noticed the charge go down substantially while "parked". Surprisingly, he charged the car to 90%. It's the least you could have done Saul. Do your research before purchasing from this Nissan dealer- surely the service department has also gone downhill so research other service options. Shop around- especially with a different brand- trust us! They said it themselves: "Nissan is just not that big of a company". They were so unhappy with US that they even refused a car wash slip after leaving us without a car. They put a tracking device on your car without telling you. And do a crappy job of it too. It fell out from under the dash within 200 miles. That way they know exactly where the car is to repo it. Plus it is monitored by a 3rd party and who knows who they are selling your info to. read more

I recently returned a 2023 Nissan Ariya here that I had leased for 1yr from Tustin Nissan, which was previously owned by the same owner of Downey Nissan. The return took less than 15 minutes. The person who helped me -took the keys, the manual, a few pictures and the mileage, and I was on my way. I returned the car in great condition as far as to say, I didn't even remove the plastic from the dash. When I received my final bill I was billed for the two front tires that showed excessive wear. (The center of both tires were in great condition, but due to constantly losing air -the outer parts of the tires were worn out) Those tires had been losing air ever since the day I took the car from the dealership, and I was not going to buy new tires because I was only leasing it for one year. I strongly believe those tires should've gone back to the manufacturer as defective and they should've replaced them for free since the vehicle had only 15,000 miles. I did call and speak to someone. They told me I could come in and purchase another Nissan and they would remove those charges. LoL No, Thank You! By the way, those tires were the Dunlop grandtrek PT21 which have very bad reviews. You'd wonder why Nissan would even place them on a vehicle retailing at over $60,000. read more

Beware... the service advisor I dealt with all he did was try to take my money and charge me for things that should be/were covered under warranty. I called/texted about a leaky sunroof and asked what I should do (this was the 2nd time it happened) and I was told that I had to approve and pay $900 for a teardown to see where the leak was coming from...I reminded the service advisor that the vehicle was still under the original manufacturer warranty and he said that it would not cover the tear down.. that i had to pay for it out of pocket! I then proceeded to call the Nissan dealer where I originally purchased the vehicle and surprise surprise... the tear down WAS covered by warranty and they're going to order a part to repair the leaky sunroof! Don't belive me? I have the whole conversation in text...
