Everyone with whom we interacted was dishonest. I exchanged texts and phone calls with them and they told us that as long as my car was in good condition, they would give me the trade-in value I sought. When we got to the dealer, first, they said that the price on the car we wanted would be higher than advertised because of some BS "special coating" on the paint. Sharing from my Google Review: I had previously done many good reviews for this place. But my most recent experience is part of a trend and they no longer deserve a 5 star review. I took my car in on a Thursday, I go back today (after standing for several minutes with no one approaching to assist me) just to be told the work on my car had not even been started when the approval from the insurance for repairs was done in the AM. In between was no one taking accountability for anything, colleagues of the gentleman I was working with throwing him under the bus saying he was absent, and generally a chaotic lack of teamwork. What upset me most was when I left a representative sarcastically told me "bye sir" knowing I was upset at everything that had just transpired. I originally took my car in for maintenance and to get some loud noise it was making looked at. I was not given any updates in between but a video with no context, no text , no call. It was not until I called for an update that I was told the mechanic had not found anything but that when he was taking my car out the mechanic did hear something, so they took the car back in to look at it and they found the problem. A recommendation was made to replace the front struts. So they only found the problem after missing it the first time, costing me time and a day that could have been spent getting the repair approved by my extended coverage so the car could be ready today. Take your business elsewhere and stay away from this place. They will be nice to you and loud when they want to sell you a vehicle. Things are great when your car is fresh, brand new - but as time goes by the first thing they ask you is if you have extended warranty almost as a way to decide whether to support you fully or shoo you away with the costs associated for anything. The most difficult part about dealing with this place is that they seem to be trained on how not to be liable for anything so you really can't win unless you probably involve a lawyer or the department of consumer affairs. Why do I say this? Because they had my car 4 days and the problem was not fixed unless I left it a 5th day. So I took my car. What does the paperwork say? "Customer Declined at this time" - Why did they not say the truth? : Customer declined at this time because he brought in his car on a Thursday and it took us 4 days to get started on the repairs because we are lackadaisical." Work is a joke to the whole team at this place it seems. You can tell. It is more of a scrambling atmosphere than anything. The guy who was working on my case was absent today and no one took responsibility, a rep even calling him on his day off - isn't this illegal? The lack of accountability if like nothing I have ever seen, pretty much being told there was nothing they could do because the guy working with me was absent. I recommend improved communication and teamwork, an updated training on customer service and a extensive manager training. I did not even speak to the manager because I have already dealt with him before and he is not very pleasant to speak to. You have been warned. Note: the lady next to me mentioned something about consumer affairs so maybe she took her complaints there instead of Google. read more

Decided to reach out to them again for the second time through tex and three previous phone calls, in regards to the status of the vehicle? Sent out a Tex again this morning, and was told they couldn't find anyone to finance me. I was approved for GWagon 550 for $120,000 Mercedes S550 for $50,000 But wasn't approved for a Nissan for $18,000??? I understand that I wasn't approved due to having 3 vehicles still being paid for but also having another 2 vehicles paid off and never had an issue with any late payments.... I would hope for future sales with costumers at Nissan of Downey, don't take up the customers time, then take there down payment and 8 days later tell the customer they couldn't get them approved Please keep in contact with your customers for better customer service practice.... Cesar was good and helped guide me through the process of buying a car. After a car accident, I spent too long looking for used cars, but ultimately decided to get a Versa from here. I bought my wife a Certified Pre-Owned 2021 Versa from here last year. It started having minor problems, and now, only a year later, it died on us. The computer had to be repaired and reprogrammed, costing us over $3200. We usually use my car when we go anywhere, so my wife was probably driving it below the average amount of miles in a year, yet a 4 year old vehicle that had been "Certified Pre-Owned" couldn't even last a year without major repairs. My Prius is 5 years older with more than three times the amount of miles on it, and in the five years I've had it, it has only had one issue so minor that it's not even worth mentioning. Sorry we have good credit and financially stable you're not doing us a favor mr! He needs to take service classes from the young salesperson that helped us. We were spending 100 k not like it's chump change the only reason we stayed was because of Ricardo our sales person. Rodolfo needs to be courteous and understand that not all your customers are lower income and are begging for a car. I choose to go to Downey Nissan it's your privilege to sales me a car not the other way around. Treat people with respect and be courteous . Introduce yourself to them act like you care when they say something to you. When this dealer changed owners they should of let this person go! So I bought a deal of 7 oil changes for $249.99 for my Altima and been coming here for oil changes for the past year or so. Horrible on time like you can't even imagine. Not a single time they finished the oil change under 2 hours. I understand that they do a car wash and an inspection but 3 hours wait time is crazy. Keep in mind that I always make an appointment. I'm there right now and went to check on my car after 2 hours and the service adviser was like "It shouldn't take so long it just went in". It just went in ??
