This is the first time we tried a full meal at DQ. The burger was surprisingly good, with nice thick patties and fresh veggies. They waited until the hot food was done and bagged, and noticed the blizzard wasn't made. So we waited another couple minutes while she added the Oreos to then mix and blended it up. No wonder this DQ HAS ONLY A 2 STAR RATING! The service was slow through the drive through. I pulled up to order only to sit there a couple of minutes before someone acknowledged me and then kept being asked to hold on (very frustrating)! Then I ordered 3 combo meals 2 of which came w a desert and a banana split! They gave us our deserts first and a couple minutes later asked me to park! After waiting an additional 10 minutes finally a girl brought out my food and basically through it at us and said everything is in there and started to walk off! I asked for the girls name that brought our food out who was rude and tossed our food at us as she walked away and the manager said she couldn't give us her name! No one was wearing name badges at all and the manager said her name was Moriah! Came here for a little dessert after dinner. The drive thru was very busy but it went fast. The service was very good. I'm a fan of the Choco Brownie Blizzard. Nice kids staffing the place, marginally clean store, and they have soft-serve ice cream with peanut butter cups and M&Ms. I think my pregnant wife would singlehandedly keep them in business. I never had an issue with this place other than its a long drive to get here. :-/ The drive thru is usually quick, the ice cream is delicious and the service is as good as any fast food place I have ever been. My favorite thing to order is a cherry cheesecake blizzard with extra cheesecake. It is delicious! I recently tried one of their new hot treats. They have added three different kinds: chocolate chip cookie a la mode, brownie a la mode, and apple crisp a la mode. I tried the apple crisp and it wasn't bad. After standing at the counter for a good 10 minutes and the only one in the place I quickly changed my mind about the blizzard. Hi, I will like to report incident that at the Avondale location. First I come to this location because my son wanted Ice Cream. I don't know if the young girl at the window was having a bad day but she was extremely rude with taking my order an no one was behind me so know need to rush. I start order she seem confused and annoyed Saying I can only do one order at a time. It was 3 order of the $ meal chicken strips all sprites. She extremely rude especially when asked if she jut had plain strawberry blizzard so after my last order I said ma'am if you don t like this job you should definitely find another one. So after her be rude I was debating to cancel my order and asked for a manager, some older Indian guy comes to the window and said I'm not servicing you, like I was the issue and the works in the back look shocked as well. Then he told me "to get the fuck off his property before he call the police." I told him fuck you and he comes out the window and said fuck you too and gave me the middle finger, so I gave it back. Then I drove around some I can get the corporate number and he come out take pics of my tags and said he was calling the police. So I stay there until the police came. The officer inform me to call corporate and to maybe go to Culvers for better service. Truly sad because I grow up over here for 20 years and I will definitely inform everyone on how DQ treats there customer while their 12 year old child is in the car. read more

Took my friends to get Ice cream on 7/9/2017, one of my friends ordered a Banana Split, the Banana was so over ripe that they were completely brown. Did not look appetizing at all. While eating our ice cream, 2 ladies came in and both ordered Banana Splits, Brown bananas which they both refused their order. Just let customers know you don't have bananas......gross! After eating I went up to the counter to order something to go, I was completely ignored...waiting a few minutes I asked if I could get help.
