    Phoenix
    Ruth G.

She's now in Ventura. One of my closest friends was in a state of urgency because her beloved chihuahua, Phoenix, had been struggling to breathe all night. He had some pre-existing issues but now he had come to a critical state. My friend called several vets and animal hospitals and she was told there was no availability so her only option was to go to the animal ER where there would be 3- hour wait. At last, she got one returned call from Lorraine Watson DVM. She said she was headed out of town but could see Phoenix on Monday. This was only Saturday. My friend said she didn't think he would make it. Then the doctor heard him coughing and choking. She said she would see Phoenix on her way out of town. She arrived at my friend's home and proceeded to make Phoenix comfortable. With great compassion and care, they decided Phoenix would not recover and he should be put to sleep. My friend and her other chihuahua, Leo, said goodbye to Phoenix. The whole traumatizing event was made so much easier because of Dr. Watson's calm professionalism and tender care with an amazing demonstration of love. She even took the time to make paw prints in clay for my friend. "An angel," according to my friend.

Sunny was a sweet and really friendly dog. Everyone at the beach, the park and the neighborhood knew and liked her.

My dog was a 13 year old American Staffordshire Terrier, her name was Sunny. She was blind and had dementia which was getting worse. She had a lot of other health problems also. I decided the humane thing to do would be to have her put to sleep in her doggy bed in the living room, in familiar and comfortable surroundings instead of her last moments being in a vet's office which always stressed her out. Sunny's last moments were eating donuts while Dr. Watson administered a sedative to her to help her go to sleep before the lethal dose. Sunny was asleep the entire procedure which lasted maybe less than 20 minutes. She was calm and comfortable in her last moments. Dr. Watson was very professional, she arrived at my home at the scheduled time and she answered any questions I had about the procedure. I decided to have Sunny cremated, her ashes were returned to me in a few days in a very nice biodegradable package which will be buried in a terracotta pot containing sunflowers. Dr. Watson provides a much needed service which is the kind and humane thing to do for saying goodbye to a pet. Sunny was a member of my family after she was adopted as I am sure that is how most people consider their pets also. Contacting Dr. Watson for her services was the right choice for saying goodbye to Sunny. Thank You, Dr. Watson.

Our Stella at year one, and at 12+ years, only a week before we had to say goodbye.

Dr. Watson enabled us to navigate through an extremely difficult situation, with peace of mind. We are so broken hearted about having to put our sweet Stella down. She's been an amazing part of our family for over 12 years. Dr. Watson came to our home, and explained every step of the process. Our girl got to lay in her favorite spot, in her home (vs a vet's office) and she simply fell asleep with the twilight drug administered. We got to be by her side, petting her and giving her love then entire time. After some time, Dr. Watson administered the second part of the procedure. It was as peaceful a transition as anyone could hope for. Dr. Watson left us with a clay mold with Stella's pawprint. The pain is raw, the heartache is deep, however it does give us some comfort to know that Stella didn't suffer and that her last memory on earth is with us, in her comfort zone. We'll always be grateful to Dr. Watson for Stella's peaceful transition.

My experience with Dr. Watson was a wonderful one. Her energy was very grounding and calming and that was definitely what Sarge and I both needed. After more than 13 years as our prince charming, it was beyond difficult when he took an unexpected swift turn for the worst. He was not able to move around too much at this point,(instead of taking him back to emergency room)so I called Dr. Watson. She was able to come the next day (Lap of Love didn't have an opening for 5 days). She let me ask questions, took the time to explain and all the while was steady in her demeanor. Her set up was wonderful. She has it dialed in. Sarge was 67lbs. She had a stretcher and easily got him in the back of her electric car when we were done. She took much care in every step. Dr. Watson made an extremely painful circumstance and made it easier and more peaceful than I have had yet. Thank you Dr. Watson, for doing what you do, so we can be present with our fur babies in the comfort of our own home, while we support them in crossing over the rainbow bridge.

    Before Dr. Watson's arrival.

Our unique cat was refusing to eat or drink and was getting weaker by the day. Our vet told us he was in the final stage of kidney disease (common for older cats), and beyond the daily infusion of fluids, there was nothing we could do. We made him as happy as we could for as long as we could. But his quality of life was at a very low point. We contacted Dr. Watson at Dr-4-pets.com and made an appointment for the following day. Lorraine arrived fully prepared and comforted us and our cat with quiet kindness. She was able to give our pet a very peaceful end and provided us all the options for aftercare. I highly recommend Dr. Watson, who will show genuine compassion for your beloved pet.

It was our first time laying a fur baby to rest and it was the hardest thing to do. Dr. Lorraine was able to come in a short notice due to Al's health dramatically declining. She came into our home with care, compassion and warmth. Dr. Lorraine is the best at what she does and I recommend her services to any fur parent in need of it . Thank you Dr. Lorraine for showing your compassion to our Al and having him go in peace.

We like to say thank you Dr Watson. She was helping our fur baby Beau's departure. Beau was special boy for us. It was so hard to let him go. But we were so glad to Dr Watson and gave us time and space. Beau was always scary at vet. We didn't want to his last memory was scary. We were so glad to let him go from our house with us. It's still a hard time..... lost Beau. We are so appreciated to Dr Watson and we recommend her. Thank you.

    Our sweet Salli.
    Janelle K.

If I could give Dr. Watson 20 stars I would. We made the heart wrenchingly difficult decision to put our sweet dog Salli to sleep after she suffered a stroke and a series of seizures. After 16 years of love it was time to help our furry family member to cross that rainbow bridge. This was our first experience putting a pet to sleep, and Dr. Watson made an extremely difficult moment so much easier. She was kind, gentle, responsive, explained the process, and gave us time and space to say goodbye. She ensured that Salli's remains were handled with dignity (we chose aquamation), which was so important to us. I highly recommend Dr. Watson to anyone who is in search of an in home euthanasia option. Thank you so much Dr. Watson for bringing comfort to our family at such a difficult time. We appreciate you.

Dr Watson just came to put my 15 yr old Yorkie-Poo down, due to stage 4 lymphoma. This was by far one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in my life. He was a fighter till the very end, and the sweetest dog. Dr was so patient, kind and caring. She answered all my questions before, during and after the procedure. It is so important to have a compassionate person during this time. I was referred to her by rainbow to heaven, and I am so glad they sent her! I highly recommend her, but hope I do not have to call her anytime soon, as I have two other dogs still. She gets the highest respect from me. Thanks again Dr Watson. :)

They are remarkable communicators, and I love that they do not try to up sell you. They respect your boundaries and financial health, they never try to push or guilt trip you. Best of all, they do not tell you wildly outrageous ideas on what might be the cause of x, y, z. Every time we have met with Dr. Seigal whether it is in person or over the phone, we've always felt he was such a generous, gracious person. We never felt rushed. When I ask his staff a question and they don't know the answer, they are always honest and polite and will tell you they don't know and will proceed to place you on a brief hold so they can get the correct information. The staff has a good attitude and assume that you are a caring owner. When Dr. Siegal says he'll call you or do anything, he always holds his word and he even called us when he was out of town. The facility is extremely clean, the cleanest vet I've ever been to. There are so many reasons why you should consider Dr. Siegal and his team, these are just a few. Plenty of parking in their private shared lot and street parking. Very cute stores, restaurants, and fitness yoga studios nearby so if you are coming from further away and need to leave your pet for a few hours you can totally patronize some of the other local businesses. Overall 10/10 experience. I'm glad we took a chance on this vet. To be fair we had exhausted many of the other highly rated vets in the San Fernando valley area and none of them cut it. Are you paying a little more to see the doctor here and get the tests and other services? Yes, probably a little more. However, for me personally, it's completely justified because of the integrity and seamless experiences we've had. Lastly, every single time we have gone in for our appointment, we haven't had to wait longer than 5 minutes. Also they are always giving you a warm greeting which I literally cannot say about any of the other vets. Last little detail, but really there's no detail too small, I have not seen any of the staff doom scroll or look checked out. When they are on the clock, they appear to be working and they seem dedicated. Little things like that have a major impact on professionalism and trust. If I see anyone on the clock doom scrolling or just super engaged on their cell phone it is 100% a red flag and a sign that they don't care, aka my sign to leave a business and not return. I want to spend my hard earned money on places that are invested and care. Dr. Siegal and his staff seem happy and I believe a happy staff is a more efficient staff. It is a safe space, you can openly share your concerns, wants and needs- they are listening with open hearts and they genuinely care. Sadly I've been to probably more than eight different vets and none of them have even come close to Dr. Siegal. Because of those awful experiences, I was starting to lose hope. But I knew from our first phone call with Dr. Siegal's office, when I was literally picking their brain and asking 20+ questions and complaining about past experiences, I knew they were the one because they never made me feel rushed, I never felt judged, I never felt unappreciated and I felt they were truly listening and caring. Anyways, I'm just extremely grateful for Dr.Siegal and his staff.

This is not my first review of our beloved Dr G, and I just recommended her to 6 more people again just these past 2 weeks. I always say to people I give her card to: "you will discover she is an Earth Angel - if she moved to a different town, I'd take my pup there... When you find a great vet, they are Gold! She's not only compassionate, present and knowledgeable, but also she does not oversell." Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. Unfortunately he passed, and I learned that finding the RIGHT professional truly makes ALL the difference. So yes, I drive from Sherman Oaks. Gratefully so :) I am thankful that my cherished pups are her patients. Her ethics, her care, her kindness, her knowledge, her integrity - she's our number 1!!!

We were okay paying so much in order to have his final moments be comfortable at home rather than on a cold clinic table, but we had a pretty awful experience. When witnessing this service in the past from other practitioners, a sedative was given to the dog prior to the lethal injection via IV. For our appointment however, the vet explained that a sedative comes before the lethal injection, but instead of setting up an IV for that, she abruptly stuck him in the back with a needle. He began yelping and crying out in pain and frantically running all over our home VERY distressed. It was at this time that the vet informed us it was likely burning and itching inside of him, despite not warning us about that. I went to grab him and bring him back to the couch so I could hold him and she did the same thing again, causing the same reaction. By the time I got ahold of him and brought him back to the couch again to hold him in my arms he was so sedated he was basically already gone. Completely limp and comatose. I tried my best to position him on my lap on the couch while she did the lethal injection, but at that point he was pretty much gone. So his last moments were spent in pain, burning and itching, crying and confused, and running to find somewhere to hide. It did not feel humane and did not bring us any sort of peace about the already impossible decision. We are both heartbroken because he was truly so innocent and sweet and we went out of our way to try to ensure his final moments were filled with peace and dignity like he deserved, but instead we watched him pass in a state of fear and terror. I'm still a bit in shock over how it all went down, but I wanted to share this feedback for anyone considering going the same route. Respectfully, I would look elsewhere.

We were complete emotional wrecks, and they met us exactly where we were--with kindness and patience. The entire experience was incredibly peaceful. They created a space that felt gentle and respectful, allowing Griffin to pass comfortably at home, surrounded by love. It never felt rushed or clinical--just deeply human and full of care. One thing that deeply stood out was Dr. Kumar's use of Reiki techniques alongside the traditional medications. Sadly, both the Vet and the tech were not speedy, not convenient, and I have no clue why they have a mobile van if they don't provide their services to clients in the actual van which is nuts to me. Quick summary: I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND. They are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE (way over market and normal vets), you will be pay at least $100 + $80 for them to just see your dog, and if your dog literally needs actual medical services besides the normal routine wellness needs then they don't have the capability to help you but likely will still provide medical care to take your money but according to the vet tech "you must still pay the $180". Heads up: $5 per pill for Clavaillin is price gouging at $150 30 pills. Pet smart & Chewy has it for $2.79 with a total of $83.7 I would have saved $67 using chewy! Cytopoint injections for large breeds need two shots and at my vet they total $147.50 and I was charged $189 so a delta of 32.50 Another reason: they didn't have a simple antibiotic my dog needed and I mentioned to please send to chewy and the vet tech LITERALLY went off on how she refuses to send prescriptions to chewy due to a personal issue (I honestly stopped listening because she was going in a diatribe about a company I love). When I told her unfortunately I have never had an issue with chewy and since she is not the vet and does not write the script I am going to have to request the vet send it there (she was telling me who I can't do business with in my house). At this point and hour In and no help to my dog as the vet tech won't stop talking. Finally after some encouragement from me to the vet I just asked for some allergy shots as I wanted them to get out of my house. They wanted to clean the wound and asked to use MY PRODUCTS to do so. I ended up being scammed out of $500+ for a literal shot and an antibiotic because within 3 day that wound opened and pus was every were and I had to take her to the ER for another $500+. They have paperwork that says if they feel they can't treat your dog then they will refer you to an outside doctor, I wish they had done that, because if they did I wouldn't have been scammed out of $500.
