As a result, I have no cartilage between my leg and foot and severe arthritis. I have lived with pain the entire time. Whenever I asked a practitioner for something for the pain, they either suggested ibuprofen or said they don't prescribe opioids. Hmm, I wonder if that's a liability thing? Rosemary engaged in dialogue with me about my pain. Describe what your pain is like--dull, throbbing, shooting? When did I feel it? What brought it on? What made it worse, etc. After these conversations she explained her diagnosis and therapeutic plan. She started me on a milder pain medication regimen and, when I didn't get relief, either increased dosage or changed medication. What I appreciate, among many aspects of her practice, is her belief that no one should live in pain. Her level of care and respect are exemplary. I wish all primary care practitioners shared her beliefs.

They have helped me tremendously and I wish I knew about this place earlier when my back pain first began a few years ago. I do a range of treatments with them, including physical therapy, acupuncture, and even cupping. The staff is like family and the atmosphere there is so positive and kind and they make you feel like family. Every single one of them has contributed to my well being. My pain isn't fully gone but they help me get by week after week. Their kindness is enough to bring me back week after week. My appreciation extends also to DR Badday and Annette and the staff at the Irvine branch where I receive separate pain management treatment including steroid injections, and nerve ablations. Second, with regard to my personal safety, they loaned me a walker for stability over my cane. I was walked to my car by the doctor assisting me. He showed me a quick maneuver to move easily into the car. Then reminding me to purchase a walker, he kindly closed my door and took the walker back into the building. In between arriving and leaving, I felt respected for what I was able to do and not frowned on for what I could not do. Last, and certainly to be recognized, in one month I have seen and felt improvement and progress. The pain is down from eight to two. I pray you don't need physical therapy, but if you do, go in with confidence!

He tailors exercises to meet my goals and is incredibly encouraging (today, when he saw me struggling with an exercise, he yelled from across the room: "Great job, Will. Triceps are looking awesome)!" It sounds silly, but these little things add up and honestly help me stay motivated. I was referred to him by my pain management physician who had personally worked with him after she broke her arm mountain biking. Honest to God, she told me she has changed how she practices medicine because of him. Instead of reaching first for medications/procedures, she now recommends high quality physical therapy.
