I work on the mountain and have ate here DOZENS of times but will no longer. Pros: outside of the Pendry resturants it's the best option in the village. Their chicken tenders are the best deal on the menu. The staff is friendly, fast and efficient. Decent place to grab a beer and watch the game if there is a seat available. Cons: they nickel and dime the crap out of everyone, even employees on the mountain. For example, 22.00 burger and up without fries or anything. If you come in and get a burger, side and beer after tax and tip you'll be over 50 bucks by yourself. I recently was diagnosed with an auto immune issue and very serious food allergies. I'm on a super basic diet. On three different occasions, I tried to just order a plain hamburger patty and/or chicken breast. I was told every time they have to charge me a full price sandwich but they will be "happy to serve it plain". That's right, they wanted 45.00 for a single hamburger patty and plain chicken breasts- no exceptions. I advised them I'm trying to avoid the least amount of cross contaminations because I have severe food allergies - nope, no exceptions. As someone who ate here literally every week sometimes a few times every week, they lost my business forever. Their policies suck and there are other good options near by. Note: they let you buy a protein aka carte but only if you purchase a full meal/sandwich first. So if I did that, it was still 30 bucks and some change for a patty and chicken breast. We went at 9pm on a Monday night. So glad they stay open late!!! Our server was very pleasant and checked on us often. This spot has a great atmosphere! Lots of windows for outside views. It was snowing and we were still able to enjoy the view. The only reason I'm leaving a 4 star instead of 5 is because the price. My wife and I split the basic burger and got sweet potato fries. The burger actually blew our minds. Tasted GREAT and was super juicy. The sweet potato fries were sprinkled with sugar. It was like dessert. We loved it. Even though we split the burger and fries, we left satisfied. Not stuffed but not hungry anymore. We sampled several beers from their ginormous selection and ended up wjth a pint of Son of a Peach. Delicious. After tip we spent 38ish dollars. If we each got our own burger, you're looking at another 20 on top of that. I would visit often if we lived in town. We came here on our last day at park city. Seating is limited so you don't want to come to late in the day. We sat at the bar which was first come first served. I ended up getting a regular burger with sweet potato waffle fries. Which I was pleasantly surprised that they were waffle fries and were actually delicious. The burger was dry and bland. I asked for medium rare for well done. Smh. The only thing that kinda made the day was the fact that they offered a vegan milkshake. Everything from the ice cream to the whip cream to cake was all vegan. Which is. Ice for us lactose girlies. What I wasn't a fan of was that the I only flavor they had was chocolate peanut butter. First gripe walking in- place is busy for apres and there's a long table inside with a sign dangling over it that says "community table". There's one girl seated and we join her. After all, it's a community table. Immediately, some 20-something 'manager' from South America dashes over and tells us the table is reserved for another party and kicks all of us off. How can you reserve a "community table?!" We argued but he didn't care. He goes on to say that we can put our name in but it's a 30 minute wait. Seriously, there were a ton servers and empty tables starting the place. Anyway, we put our name in, sat at the bar, and were called in less than 10 minutes. We really just wanted to have some snacks and a beer. Avoid the overpriced tiny portion of onions rings. And if your chips arrive stale like ours, send them back. While we were at Canyons, we decided to grab a quick lunch so the hubster could go back to snowboarding and the toddler and I could go back to snow play. This place didn't have tons of stars or great reviews on yelp, but it was better than the other options so we gave it a try. We were seated right away when we arrived and this place had booster and high chairs for kids so big star for that! There were lots of families with little ones eating there we noticed. Our server came by not too long after we were seated to introduce himself and grab drink orders. Menu is small so didn't take long to decide on our meals. We ordered wings to start as an appetizer, which were supposed to come out first, but kitchen was fast and came out with our burgers at the same time. Buffalo Wings were good. Crispy like we like them. Not too spicy. I had the So Fresh So Clean turkey burger. It was delicious and tasted fresh. The fries were a perfect small portion and seasoned. Hubster ordered the Blue Moo. Said it was good but only complaint was that the bacon wasn't thoroughly cooked. For the 2 yr old, we got him the Kraft Mac n cheese with a side of fruit. The bowl was huge, looked like we got the whole box for the $9. The cup of fruit was diced and I really loved that because the grapes were cut in half so that meant I didn't have to do it! I had a small taste and the fruit was sweet and fresh. Oh and they serve drinks in plastic kid cups! Our server was attentive and friendly. We had a great meal and great experience at this place. We were looking for an easy place to have a nice dinner on a Sunday night when most places close early. Drafts is an easy 4 minute walk from our condo, so we chose to go here. We were seated almost immediately on the outside covered patio (and good thing because it was a torrential downpour). We ordered drinks and then asked for suggestions on food. We ended up getting the Ghost Pepper burger and dry rubbed chicken tenders to split. They came out at the same time. We asked for the burger to be cooked medium, and it was perfectly cooked. We upgraded our fries for truffle tots, and that was an excellent choice. The chicken tenders were fantastic--a big crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The tenders came with ranch, carrots, and celery. After dinner, although satisfied, we ordered the Butterfinger Milkshake. My goodness was it good! It's flavor is exceptional, and we loved the chopped up candy inside the milkshake. Overall, this was an excellent choice on a slow Sunday evening. read more

We stopped in for breakfast while attending the Park City Food and Wine fest. I had the Chilaquiles skillet and it was excellent. Wife had the Carnitas and hatch chili skillet and it also was spot on flavor wise. A bit on the hot side for her but worth it. Coffee was fair as was the service. Stayed at the Sundial for about a week+ so we ate here about 10 times lol. Staff is so nice, really great people. Food is also ready good. Puppies pancakes were amazing, could eat it all day. The basic eggs breakfast was also really good. Loved the tenders- Cajun is good but southwest is awesome. Garlic burger is also really yummy and Pedro burger was good too. Tatchos were tasty, chips and salsa were average. Thought the garlic fries were a little too much butter but onion rings and sweet potato fries are great. We didn't expect much coming in seeing their 3* grade on Yelp, and that's what we got. A very mixed experience. If you are staying at the hotel, or if you are skiing Park City, those would be the only reasons to eat here. Definitively not worth it to travel to this place. Their kids meal burgers are reasonable at $9 and come with fries or fruit. My kid wanted an extra side of sweet potato fries. It was $8, and the portion was that of a McDonalds small fries. Even the server was apologetic with how small the side order was. We tried the garlic burger. We asked medium, but it came out well done. Was only a little bigger than the kids burger, and more than double the price. We ordered the cheddar soup, and it came with the meals instead of before as an appetizer. It also was bland and luke warm. I ordered the chicken sandwich, but got it grilled rather than deep fried. This was the best meal. Breast was large, juicy, and well seasoned. I got the chili cheese fries as the side, and was very disappointing. It seemed like a teaspoon of meat and then some watery cheese sauce. The worst thing was the drink I ordered. Was in the mood for a cocktail after skiing. Ordered what I thought would be a simple martini. First asked for cocktail onion garnish rather than an olive. They don't have cocktail onions. Fine. Just regular martini. My drink got delivered and my glass was about half full. Ok, they are a cheap pour. But then I took a sip and it tasted highly watered down, which is what happens when the martini has too much chipped ice in it. I felt like sending it back and just getting a beer, but our server never came back until our food was ready. So just suffered my watered down martini. read more

Nice Saturday breakfast! I started with a coffee and my husband got a Mormosa (OJ and Martinellis). I had the two egg breakfast with bacon and hash browns. I can't have toast or pancakes so they gave me a nice fruit cup. My husband got the three egg white omelette with hash browns and a pancake. It was a little odd that they use the word "hash browns", but it's actually tater tots. While it's referred to as a "burger bar" let's be honest, the shakes are really the main event and that's what folks come here for. That being said, the burgers were actually quite tasty. I was prepared for the main course to be lousy in order to artificially inflate the dessert, but that was not the case. And if you're a fan of sweet potato fries (and if you're not, what's wrong with you?), the ones here are quite tasty. The I Garlic Burger was quite good, from the bun on down, though I could have done without the pickle. The shakes are really more like monstrous ice cream sundaes, though they do give you a giant straw if you want to attempt to eat it that way. I went with the Don't Lay A Finger On My shake because Butterfingers. It was excellent. Though the chocolate thing they put on the side of the glass was odd. I couldn't get it off with my fingers, mouth, or a knife, so what's the point? A couple other detractors: Our server overall was nice, but not too speedy. She also brought us the check before asking if we wanted dessert, which seemed odd given that we all finished our meals and their desserts are so famous. I could see skipping that if we all left half of our burgers on the plates, but we were pretty much Clean Plate Club at the table. Lastly, we were on the enclosed patio which had overhead heaters to keep things warm. They were doing a decent job until another table asked to have it turned off. This spot has been on my list for a while, especially since I ski and Canyons and pass it quite often. Never got the ability to go in and try because it is always so busy but was up at canyons on a random weekend this off-season and thankfully they were open! Awesome staff and they made our burgers quick. Fun sports bar type of environment. We ordered the info and a burger, both were good and the wings were dressed in their house buffalo. The sauce was good and was a little sweet which I wasn't expecting but was still good. The burger was good as well and cooked right, husband said it was one of his favorite in SLC/PC that he's had. I had excellent beans/chili in a bread bowl at the bar. The bartender was friendly and pleasant in spite of being totally slammed with working both the bar and fulfilling orders for the restaurant. The first time I had the salmon sandwich which is delicious, the bread was soft and the sauce inside was very complimentary to the protein. The second time I tried the bison chili bowl which was decent, just the bread bowl itself was a tad disappointing. There's a nice variety of beers. Service was pretty quick for the most part. They offer a long list of "burgers" (i.e. turkey burger, grilled Atlantic salmon, BBQ pulled pork) and have both vegan and gluten-free options. Their Tatchos starter (tater tots, cheese, bacon, sour cream, bison beef chili) was definitely a favorite and our go-to order after skiing. Drink (3/5 Stars): Good selection of local beers (on tap & bottles/cans). Service (4/5 Stars): Fast and friendly service. Atmosphere (4/5 Stars): Indoor, bar, and heated patio seating available year round. Great view of the Red Pine Gondola and base of the mountain if you sit outside. Every time I come to Park City this is my go-to restaurant. It is sort of a long trip from west Salt Lake but oh it is so worth it! I love the burger called "Southern Hospitality", this burger is on my top 3 of favorite burgers of all time, the beef tastes amazing and depending on how you order it it's cooked perfectly, I ordered medium well and it's always great to get what I'm actually asking, not overcooked nor too raw, the flavors just blend together with he coleslaw and the brisket, and the cheese, and the onion ring, hahahha honestly it is amazing. The service is exceptional, always with a smile on their face and managers are awesome too in the different times I've come, checking on the tables and how things are going. The place is extremely nice, sort of exclusive, the view is amazing, the patio sitting is top notch!! Ahhh, very very overpriced. It was a decent burger, but I couldn't help but feel cheated. I asked for medium rare, and I got a medium well burger. You would think a place with 'burger' in their name could get the cook time right? You are able to sub any of the burgers with a grilled or fried chicken breast at no charge, which is nice. Service was fine, but a little scatter brained. They have pitchers, yet the pitcher only holds 3 beers so you basically save 2 dollars.....not worth it haha. You don't have many choices at the mountain base, but just be prepared to spend $15-$20 more than you expect. read more
